Great place staff friendly and helpful place clean and tidy

Amazing hot chocolate. It was bigger than I expected. Amazing staff and service. 5/5 stars.

80% of tables were uncleared, the floor was disgusting. Food scattered all over it. waited ages while they prepared Uber Eats orders ahead of queuing customers

This one is better than some I've been in. Great seating area inside upstairs in Next shop. Clean tidy and, great atmosphere. Toilets are clean being they are in a shop as opposed to just a Costa on its own. Sometimes awful 😖. Overall, very satisfied with staff coffee and , seating area etc.

Love the ham and cheese toasty, love the chocolate cooler drink (they changed the name I never remember it) I think it's a frappe without coffee.

Costa, situated within Next, there is usually good parking .More parking at M&S just further up. Costa is usually packed on Saturdays, in fact basically expect to queue most of the time. Christmas time forget it no parking spaces.

Costa coffee next is far the best Costa in Maidstone ! Management , staff and coffee is always served with politeness and delivered to brand standard! The only thing I would DEFINITELY change is a separate place for babies! Some people are working there, phone or zoom calls , and screaming babies makes it really difficult or interrupting the meeting as simply can’t hear what people say . ( but this is not the staff fault obviously) After all great place to sit in and enjoy the lovely coffee !

Can't fault the service. Super friendly and helpful. However they definitely need more people making the drinks or more machines because the queues are always massive and only one drink is being made at a time. Unfortunately the last few times I've been here the 'hot' drinks have been lukewarm, you could down them straight away kind of temperature. Verging on cold. I'm not sure if there's a problem with the machine but the temperature is not right. Also the hot chocolate is very watery compared to other Costas. I visited the Costa at Hempstead only a couple of days before and the exact same drink was hot and rich so it's not just how it comes. There's a definite difference in quality. At nearly £10 for two small hot chocolates it was rather disappointing.

Very busy Sunday afternoon. Long queue, but what a wonderful service!! Young lady on the till ,I believe Hanna. She apologised for waiting time ,polite, she had a smile on her face ,no attitude. She did not stop . Well done .

It's always so busy in ths store however the staff are always working so hard to fulfill orders.

Costa Coffee is Costa Coffee, you know what your going to get in terms of food and drink(which I will say is good as always) it’s the rather long que that is a slight inconvenience but nothing nobody can’t handle (at of time of writing my foot is in a brace and it did become slightly painful during so, but otherwise it’s not a problem. I’m fond of the food and drink, especial during this season as the new seasonal menus have been released. As you can see in the photo I am drinking a maple hazel hot chocolate, which is very well balanced and I will be having again. Also the bacon and Brie baguette, which I believe is available all year round, and is tasty as usual. Additionally, the specialist distrust requirement options are few and far between, but this is a problem with the chain rather than the individual branch, I believe we found a packet of crisps and a small brownie for my partner who has a gluten free diet. May go to another costa just because of the que but would definitely go there if I was in the building.

Woeful service. Very slow. Staff would rather chatter amongst each other than provide a decent service. Ordered a medium iced latte and was presented with half full cardboard cup instead of the plastic cups. Won’t be returning.

Really nice place to visit. Nice and friendly staff very helpful. It’s definitely worth coming, also with nice view sitting and enjoying. Also, after browsing or buying some nice things in Next it has a perfect location.

The young lady serving my toastie was lovely. Can't say the same for the woman with the European accent serving the tea! She served a teapot and I said that I'm very sorry, I needed it takeaway. 🙈 The filthy look she gave me and the stroppy attitude was totally unacceptable! I'm sorry to be such an inconvenience! Terrible customer service. But the young lady was very sweet. For every good one, you get a bad.

Ladies at tills are nice and professional

Here now at 9.15am 15 mins into opening hours tables dirty floors are disgusting one table in particular had human ball hair on floor. ..Needs bloody good clean

After walking around and then paying the bill at Next, it's great to chill out with a large Mocha!

This Costa outlet should be used as the role model for the perfect Costa experience. Clean, tidy, spacious with ultra friendly staff and efficient service. I went in there 4 times last week and was always impressed. Congrats and just goes to show what difference a great team makes.

Over £5 for two coffees that tasted like hot nothing and our tiny dog wasn't welcome...Great! Starbucks it is then I guess

Absolutely fantastic. We visited later in the day and our barista was top notch and as it wasn't busy at that time it was relaxed and we had a bit of a chat while he made our drinks and made us feel like valued customers. I would recommend this branch to others

Queued up for a single coffee with approx 4 other customers ahead of me then was refused to be served at the till because they were "closed" yet the woman managed to serve the other customers in the same queue prior to me their food and drinks 🤔 super helpful that!!👍🏼

A Costa located on the first floor of Next. Not a large Costa, but appears to sell their complete range of their products. Usual expected good quality of drinks. The staff are more than helpful.

As far as Costa Coffee goes this is very good. Conveniently located within the shops. Nice seating area with high ceiling and glass walls. Service was good with a very very enthusiastic team taking orders. Sometimes the queues can be large because there is a small serving area.

Medium busy on a Sunday, sadly coffee making speed was not that fast so 5th in queue was 15 mins wait - I guess once you are used to central London barrista speed it spoils you!

Costa staff we exceptional, polite, professional & efficient. I liked that one of them chose to offer a small plate to receive coins from my daughter, then sanitised the plate between customers. I was very impressed.

Only one girl serving today. She was so miserable. Wont be visiting again.

Unfortunately couldn't get in as long, slow queue. Waited quite a while but it didn't move. Lots of people at their tables had finished eating but still chatting so no free tables fot those of us waiting.

The table layout means you cans always hear the loud barista machines,. Everything normal Costa standard but just didn't feel comfortable

Pleasant coffee shop, albeit that it can get very busy. I would score it higher, but I usually have to wait longer than in other Costa shops. Just had to wait 8 minutes for my order to be taken at 4pm.

I asked for a latté and the glass she started to use was filthy, I was told that it was only a water mark because we don't dry them so I asked for one without a water mark...... She couldn't find one because there wasn't any, they all looked filthy and unhygienic for use.

VERY RUDE STAFF HE GOT MY FRIENDS DRINK WRONG. THEN SWORE WHEN HE HAD TO REDO THE DRINK AS HE THOUGHT IT WAS ACCEPTABLE TO SCRAPE CREAM OFF OF AN ALMOND MILK DRINK WHEN HE WAS TOLD NO CREAM AS DAIRY INTOLERANT!!!!

Pretty big Costa inside Next. Lots of seating but it is quite popular so is nearly always busy - be prepared for a queue. The parking outside is always busy too so this isn't the sort of Costa where it's easy to rock up and grab a quick coffee on your way somewhere. But if you are shopping or just not in a rush then it's a very pleasant environment to sit and have a drink and a snack. High chairs are available, staff always seem friendly and with a full range of Costa food and drink. It is located on the first floor at the front of the store overlooking the car park. There are stairs, an escalator and a lift in the store for accessibility. Toilets, including accessible and baby change, are provided by Next at the back on the same level as the Costa.
