The rooms and service were good as you would expect, but the location was exceptional. Located right next to a really pretty riverside walk.

The usual expected helpful staff and friendly welcome for a comfortable two night stay to visit relatives at Christmas time. Unfortunately the costs of COVID and the oncoming headwinds of a Labour Government are showing up in areas of maintenance and cost cutting.

What a great place. Very polite staff and the room was very clean. I booked it to stay near town for Xmas party. A nice walk to the town along the river. Plenty of parking. Close to the motorway. Would definitely use again!

What a beautiful jewel in Kent!!! Idyllic setting, a true escape.... I cannot praise the staff highly enough! Nothing was too much trouble and we were encouraged to ask for any help over anything!! On our arrival, my sister and I were so excited to be celebrating my 60th birthday, and we were laughing and sharing with our reception team.. once in our room we had a tap on the door and were presented with a box of chocolates and a best wishes card!!! 😃 That was such a wonderful gesture , and made our stay magical!! Thank you to the hardworking, dedicated, empathetic team!!!✨

The worst Premier Inn experience I've ever had. Stayed in this Premier Inn for work, as working in Maidstone for the week. Booked by work so it has to be said, I didn't choose/book this hotel myself. The staff at the Premier Inn and Beefeater next door are pleasant, polite and helpful. But that's where the positivity stops. The hotel itself is old, tired and basic. In need of a makeover and improvement. Terrible mobile reception in the area and the hotel WiFi is just as bad. Don't expect to be able to work, stream, watch or communicate easily. I'd imagine it's a nightmare if you visited with kids reliant on the internet. The showers are awful. Noisy pipes, poor water pressure and inconsistent temperature. One morning no water came out when the shower was turned to full power. I walked away and left it on in the hope water would eventually come. A couple of minutes later it did, but was a limp trickle. You're not getting a power shower here and won't be leaving the bathroom feeling fresh and thoroughly cleaned. The bed was ok. No a/c, the room does come with a fan and windows that open a few inches but nothing more. So don't expect much in terms of airflow, which leads to warm, stuffy rooms. The Beefeater next door has serious issues with service speed and availability of menu items, as well as overall quality. The staff try but they're clearly understaffed and struggling with poor facilities. Meals here will do a job, but don't expect to be leaving with a full and satisfied stomach, raring to come back. If you must stay in the area, and are booking for yourself, pay a little more and go elsewhere. There's a Village Hotel round the corner which is worth a try.

Spotlessly clean, loved the beverage refill station in reception. Suzanne was most welcoming and friendly on our arrival. Staff on departure were great too. It was very warm during our stay and a fan was provided in our room.

Due for a renovation, ASAP. It was our 3rd premier inn in 3 days so we had a good base for comparison. This one is so old and dated, the bed was not comfortable and the pillows were super hard and there is no AC. The staff at reception was friendly, and we had a fan in the room as it was a pretty hot day, but me and my husband couldn’t really sleep at all. For me the hard pillow was worse than the heat. We didn’t have breakfast as we had to leave before it started. Location is convenient and having the Beefeater next door meant we didn’t have to drive for food and could enjoy dinner and drinks by the water.

Always enjoy coming to Premier Inn. Reception staff was extremely helpful with suggestions on what we could do locally, even booked our restaurant table for next night. Will always recommend this hotel chain

Don't stay here if you want any form of connection to the outside world. The free Internet works sometimes and is about 0.8meg and the "ultimate" WiFi that you have to pay for is barely any quicker. On top of that, there's no phone signal. Ideal if you're away on business! Other than that, it's a premier inn. What is there to say? You'll stay here if your client / employer / bank balance says you have to. This one has a canal tow path next to it, which is better than a motorway junction

Above average food and service from the restaurant staff, even while short staffed they did a fantastic job.

Fairly basic food obviously reheated but edible enough. Reasonable size main chicken Dhansak and a lot of rice. Poppadoms shop bought not made to order. No alcohol free beer which is a mark down these days. You get what you pay for and this is the cheaper end of the curry market but ok for a quick grab n go meal.

A group of us attended MuMu’s bottomless brunch in Feb 2025. The good: The place has a great atmosphere and has fabulous interior. The young girl waiting on us was excellent and didn’t stop all afternoon (hats off). They’ve changed the rules and you can now mix your drink options throughout the two hours. That’s much better than previously having to stick to one drink. The not so good: The food was awful, which was surprising as a) I have to say I’ve always had great food MuMu previously and b) the menu options were so teeny tiny, considering we had 8 burgers, it’s hard to know where that could go wrong. Pretty poor on the allergy front, my GF burger came with the wrong bun, I’m grateful I spotted it otherwise my afternoon would have been ruined. Overall If you’re a lover of music and prefer to be in bed reasonable, then it’s a perfect way to get your club on, have a boogie and some drinks and get home before Saturday night Maidstone madness kicks in. For daytime club vibes 10/10 - food needs to improve though.
