Just had a lovely roast here. Plenty of hot tasty food and quick friendly service. Shall definitely return .

A friendly little local. Unpretentious but good. This time we just popped in for a pint after a dog walk.

Nice place to have a drink and get a bite to eat. The inside is a little tired looking but the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Lived locally for 8 years, how have we never visited this pub before now!! Great atmosphere, and really nice staff. The young lady working today on the serving was really good. We had only popped in for a quick drink, but ended up staying for a second. And we're definitely coming back again to try the food, which looked great from what I watched coming out to other people, with envious eyes!

I had a meal on 2 separate Tuesday one time was a burger chips and second time cod and chips with garden peas must say the food was banging and the lady behind the bar was very friendly and welcoming definitely recommend the food

We popped in for a late lunch after dump running and needed some food, so we didn't book and were not really dressed for the occasion, but it didn't matter. We were greeted with a friendly smile and still shown a table. It was st George's day so there was pie and mash specials. We both indulged, good food, and friendly helpful service. Beer tasted good, and was reasonably priced. I will visit again

Lovely place for an evening meal. Food was amazing. We had the harrow burger with everything. The service was great and the staff attended to our every need. The drinks were fresh n crisp, i had shandy. He had plain larger. The staff are polite and always ready to serve u with a smile, and atmosphere was somewhat romantic. The price of their food was very reasonable. We are definitely going to make this our regular place for a lovely romantic n cosy nite out. Thanku for giving us an amazing nite. 10 stars from us both. ✨️

I was looking for a place to have lunch. Google maps suggests Harrow Inn, at first I was sceptical, as I never heard of Harrow Inn. So the two of us decided to give it a go. Plenty of parking, stylish country pub/restaurant. Got greeted by the friendly waitress. The menu looks sweet and simple, chosen the Harrow pie, and the gammon. Both dishes, were delicious, hearty, warm and full of flavour. The service was great, food fantastic. To my surprise, the toilet 1 must be the cleanest I have seen in ages, even bottles of perfumes, fancy soaps waiting for you. What else can I say, I'm very very impressed. Thanks Google maps, thank you Harrow Inn.

Great food and not 'cook in the bag' rubbish. If your looking for a nice country pub with good food then this is the one.

We ladies had a superb lunch today (13 Feb) Abbey and Laney who served us were lovely and had excellent customer service skills. Also compliments to the chef. Thank you Christine

We had a wonderful family meal today. Eight children ,seven adults. Service was spot on. The starters and mains were absolutely gorgeous. But the deserts were out of this world. Nothing was wrong everyone had their order. We all had a great time celebrating my birthday and will definitely be back. Many thanks to all the hard work from the staff you made our day. Made a last minute booking for the same day and a table for four was made available. Wonderful atmosphere on arrival, Christmas decorations were outstanding. Made welcome at the door and , by agreement, all four of us had a superb meal, starter's, main, and sweet. Gents toilet had seen a lot of attention was spotless with novel metal plaques decorating the walls. Having left the Wagon at Hale following a very cold welcome and a denial that we had booked for lunch this alternative was a Godsend. Well done management and staff.

Struggling to find somewhere to eat for the evening. We happened upon this little boozer in a country lane that should be more prominent in the local community. The service was welcoming polite friendly and helpful. The beer was outstanding. We had the cruzcampo as recommended by the staff. Now the food. We had one of the specials for the day and can HONESTLY say I have never had hunter chicken that was so dam good I cleaned the plate even my wife had nothing bad to say which is a compliment in itself as she complains about anything. Can't recommend this establishment enough. If I could give it 6 stars out of 5 I just did as arnie would say. I'll be back.

Afternoon meal so atmosphere not available Sat outside in garden with dog . Best chips I've had in a long, long time . Only had a ploughman's but excellent with Stilton and carved ham

The service was great but the food was a let down. I like a crispy roast potatoe, but these were very overdone and the meat was dry. It was all tasteless and very overpriced. We won't be returning unfortunately

Sunday roast was disappointing. One of our choices was beef which was tough to the point of being so chewy it had to be spat out. The edges of the slices were turning up and a darker colour. Even more disappointing was the gravy. Watery thin. Having said that, the people who had the gammon said it was delicious. Huge mistake ordering the apple crumble, tasted like crumble was from a packet, very powdery. Young waitress was very patient and pleasant. If you were considering booking for Sunday lunch , be warned the car park is a nightmare. Several cars (especially ours) were blocked from moving. You definitely need someone to navigate you onto main road. I expect from reading other reviews , this one will be met with and even an more negative response.

This is a very homely little pub with comfortable seating and great atmosphere. The servers were friendly, welcoming, and absolutely on top of everything. The prices were great and reflected in the quality of food. Food was prepared quickly and well presented. There are plenty of parking spaces too. I really loved the little toiletries in the bathroom which gave it a personal touch, as often pubs don't bother with those things! I'll definitely come here again.

My family and friends met up here for a special birthday party. Clare the owner was really helpful and friendly, and really made an effort to make the day a memorable one. The food was superb, thank you!

My finance and I had the pleasure of dining at the Harrow Inn on Valentine's Day, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Firstly, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with cosy lighting and comfortable seating that made us feel right at home. Clair was, as always, friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. The menu was varied and interesting, with a great selection of drinks and dishes. We started with melted camembert and dough balls, which were rich and creamy and made a great introduction to the main meal. For our main course, we ordered the steak, which was delicious, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. The portions were generous, and the flavours were outstanding. We ended the night with a calorific chocolate delight that was a pleasure to the taste buds. This was all accompanied by a gorgeous bottle of Shiraz. Overall, there was attention to detail, and the quality of the food was perfect. Each dish was prepared with care and skill, and it was evident that the chefs take pride in their work. The flavours were well-balanced, and the ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality. I highly recommend the Harrow Inn to anyone looking for a memorable dining or drinking experience. Very nice roast but too expensive

Went for lunch as other pubs in the area were fully booked, and am very glad they were. Had some sharing plates and they were amazing. The prawn starter and calamari is highly recommended. Lovely pub, the staff were really friendly and food was fab. Would definitely recommend and will go back.

What a beautiful quaint little Inn...I will definitely be going back....the decor so clean and bright and wonderful service...its a definate return to bar.... 5 star 🌟

Food was good along with the atmosphere

Went for a Sunday lunch and honestly I was a bit disappointed. The meat was tough and the Yorkshire puddings were bone dry. The veg was well cooked though and the pudding was good. It's a nice little pub but I won't be going for Sunday dinner again

The dining room was like my nan's front room...really cosy and nostalgic x huge portions of delicious home cooked food inc potatoes and the biggest yorkshire x attentive friendly service x not the cheapest though x

Over priced! Fish and chips were lovely! No complaints there! However the special of chicken , Leek & Mushroom pie, was not worth the money! No leak in the pie small portion and rather bland! Extremely over priced desserts! Amount not included on the board for these either! Walked away disappointed.

Came here for a late Sunday lunch and everything was perfect. We shared a lovely baked camembert followed by 2 perfect mixed roasts. Even though it was gone 4pm the roast potatoes were still crisp and fresh. Well done team . Will definitely return.

Went to the Harrow Inn today for lunch while visiting my daughter in Medway. Very pleased with the experience. Set in the countryside with loads of parking. Very welcoming atmosphere and most importantly , great food. Would certainly recommend.

This has been refurbished to a high standard and offers excellent food. We had lunch which was great. Reasonable prices and very friendly staff make this a pleasure to go back. Highly recommended.

Out of the blue decided to drop in to the Harrow for a drink in the garden .Haven't been to the Harrow to sit in the garden for many years.Infact the last time we used the Harrow was for a Christmas meal 2019 and we wasn't disappointed . Our rare visits is no reflection on the welcome and service you get. It really is lack of opportunity. On our part FRIDAY 1~3pm ;approx Table service in the garden. The young girl serving couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. She had our drinks order correct and was ready to take glasses and 1,2,3,4th drinks order taken promptly, Although we didn't have anything to eat of the menu this visit ,she was happy to show us what the Sunday roasts were and the everyday menus. She was very knowledgeable and a credit to the Harrow .The garden is enclosed with a gate to the car park .It was well kept , tidy and clean ( a few wasps ..but to be expected this time of year.. So to have the empty glasses & tables cleared promptly is ideal) A very relaxed atmosphere ,Not to busy on our visit. The food that was coming out to tables in the garden looked very nice .

10 of us went there last night the food was outstanding and the staff were amazing and catered for all our needs. Absolutely faultless and will definitely be going back soon xxx

Popped in to the Harrow Inn today for afternoon drink. I often pass the pub on the way to hempstead valley but have never been in. However today I did we were greeted by the friendly staff, inside was clean and tidy. Took our drinks into the garden to enjoy the sunshine nice and tidy, we were absolutely surprised when we found we needn't go back to the bar we were served at the table by Fiona very pleasant, we enjoyed a very pleasant couple of hours, will definitely be going there again maybe next week, maybe check out the menu too.

Found this place by accident, popped in on the off chance, quite busy for a Monday lunchtime which tells you how popular it is. We had a selection of nachos, sandwiches and a burger,. All the food was excellent quality and taste, plenty of choice. Service was efficient. Fair pricing. Will be returning in the near future fo a Sunday roast.

Fabulous meal here tonight. Had a lovely smoked haddock chowder, Beef Wellington and a fruit & marshmallow chocolate fondue for dessert. I can highly recommend this pub.

We hired the function room. It was perfect for our needs. It had wheelchair access. They provided a buffet which included hot and cold food. The food was good quality. Free tea and coffee. The staff were pleasant and attentive. We had our own bar staff. I would thoroughly recommend. Check numbers though I think you could comfortably fit 25 to 30 people more in the summer because it has an outside space.
