Staff were friendly and welcoming. Decent choice on the menu and the food was lovely. Prepared fresh and very filling and not overly priced. Would highly recommend. Will definitely be returning.

Had a takeaway from here yesterday, got the big sharing mezze thing, the meat was amazing, lovely salad, chips and dips all well presented and I think a good price. Will definitely be eating here again.

Very nice lunch, cheese stuffed meat inside, oregano chips and a side of halloumi which was great. And very nice staff too.

We order often food from Pita Souvlaki. Once is tasty and we get too much for the price, it's quick so if we order already hungry we don't need to wait so long and not at last place their own drivers, so the restaurant don't relay on the companies such as Just Eat where your delivery is not garanteed. So well done guys! Keep going!

We ordered by deliveroo. We ordered a party set. The restaurant prepare the food in good timing and good boxes for keeping it warm. Food tastes so nice. The portion enough for 4 adults. Worth to try.

Came here few times first couple was ok, food was not bad, last time I was really disappointed. Ordered chicken wrap, have to wait for a bit, it’s ok. In the end I have got my wrap but I could not find any chicken in there it was lots of fries, bit of salad and 3 small peace’s of chicken, if I want vegetable wrap I would ask. The funniest part that they give to their friends massive wrap with lots of chicken for the same price or maybe free I’m not sure. Anyway, not going to comeback, Also staff need to be more positive and say hi to guests when they coming to their restaurant.

The food, unfortunately, was stale and noticeably overpriced. Disappointing on both taste and value fronts.

I can say that the most wonderful meal I have eaten in five years that I have lived in England and live more precisely and there is no second such as this wonderful sweet portion and not only the portion and all the staff are very lovely and welcoming!!

We have eaten here a few times now, portion sizes are incredibly generous and really delicious. It is the best Gyros I have tried in the local area! We also had delivery the other day and it was just as good delivered!

I’m obsessed with this place, the food is the best quality and so tasty for a very reasonable price. The staff are so lovely and friendly. By far my favourite place to eat ever! Ignore all the silly negative reviews.

I used to love this place but since the original staff have gone the new staff are disgraceful I just got overcharged £5 for two £14 meals (£33) I I specifically asked for no salad and to add feta cheese , when the meal came out the meal was smothered in salad and the lady refused to take it or Rebox it , claiming it was on one side so it’s ok !!! and then when I mentioned the missing feta they smothered the salad with the feta - Never known a establishment to just not Re box the meal without the salad that I had specifically told two staff members prior to boxing it that I can’t eat food once it’s covered in salad !!! Rude ignorant lazy staff wasting peoples money !! Had to bin the meal !!

Really good gyros. Made exactly like the ones from Greece and serves pork gyro as well which is more rare in England.

A hidden gem in the heart of Maidstone, serving up traditional Greek Gyros and Souvlaki as well as other staples. Food was lovely, we had both the pork and chicken gyros, as well as baklava to take away. We sat outside which was pleasant because it was a sunny day, but was still next to a busy road. This place is ideal for takeaways and if I lived closer I'd be ordering more than I'd care to admit!

Shorter guy serving today over charged me. Chicken Souvlaki (wrap) £7.95 + Coke Zero can £0.75 = £8.70. I was charged £9.90. It is a shame as the food here is great.

I received the wrong order. The food quality for what I received is OK.

Late delivery and £19.00 later was delivered slop that went straight into the bin.

Ordered the house Meze for 2+... take away, beautiful food, very generous portion, food enough for 4 at least. Nice and fresh and very flavoursome. Will be back!

This place we visited for ordinary takeaway the last two years . Their food has the same taste, same quality in their ingredients and consistency( quantity in pita and quality in flavour). Very tasteful pork souvlaki and pork gyros (doner) in pita bread. Their pita souvlaki is far now the best I’ve ever tasted in England it travels me back in Greece. Well done amazing Greek street food .👏🏻

Website and google says the restaurant closes at 10pm on a Sunday. We walked all the way into town and at 9pm were told they were closed for “cleaning”. Really disappointing. They should update their website to accurately reflect their opening hours to not waste people time. Will not be back.

Two chicken gyros each with a tiny small chicken kebab on a stick for 9 quid EACH, this place is such a rip off. Food lovely and have bought from here a lot tried tried our best to support this business but strongly feel we aren't getting value for money now. Literally feels like we're being ripped off.

Halloumi burger- so disappointed. Called and ordered to collect , explained on the phone I didn’t want tomato or sauce . Collected and it was ready which was great and server was really friendly. Got home to open the package( lovely packaging) the burger bun is too small for the burger and is not a brioche bun, there was no pepper in it as described in the menu and it was absolutely covered in mayo and mustard mayo , I called the restaurant and they apologised and did offer to make and deliver a new one which I felt was a very good response. We went through how I wanted the burger again and it was at my door within 20 minutes , the restaurant was really apologetic and gave a free dessert which again I feel was a lovely touch. Sadly when I opened the burger there was still no pepper but the had removed the sauce. Chips need cooking just a couple more minutes and they were Luke warm both times . The response from the restaurant was excellent but sadly the food was just so disappointing.

Popped in for a quick bite at lunchtime and picked the Chicken Skepaste to share. Gotta say it was piping hot, delicious, and very filling. Will be back to try some more items from the menu.

one Saturday night we popped in to order our food for take-out rather than wait for delivery and saw these guys in action. They were super busy, but did everything they can to make their customers happy. We waited for about 35min but it was worth it. Food is very homey and rich of flavor. Thanks again.

Saw this place in town the other night and thought it looked good and attractively fitted out. Went there tonight with the family and it was excellent, delicious chicken gyros and pork souvlaki all washed down with my favourite Greek beer. Friendly staff and good service, I felt like I was in Greece in the middle of Maidstone

We were in Maidstone to do a bit of shopping and found Pitta Souvlaki on Google. Normally we travel to Eastbourne for our ‘Gyros’ fix . But the food here was out of this world. Would highly recommend the Gyros Plate. At £12.95 you would think it’s a little expensive , but you get a huge plate of food for your money. The food was piping hot, not greasy , and cooked just like in Greece. The staff are so helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back

Once you go Pitta Souvlaki you never go back, be warned it is so good!

Chicken gyros could have been better but was prepared in 2mins with leftovers - chicken was cold, chips were cold and stale and barely any salad. If they made it fresh it may have been great.

Definitely again, as we love their food. We've had their gyros for the 4th time, and always really tasty. While we were waiting,they've had offer a free potion of chips for our little toddler. Thank you for being so kind and see you soon.

Best street food restaurant in town. When I come to Maidstone I always go there. Very tasty pork gyros and halloumi pitta wraps. 5 stars are not enough for these guys.

Tasty yes definitely. But not necessarily great value for money with regards portion size.

Had a chicken wrap. All fresh - meat cut from turning round thingy for me, fresh salad and warm pitta. All done right there. Delicious, reasonable and staff who trust you to pay when you’re done eating.

Friendly staff. Will eat here again. If you have ever had a real one you just can't beat it. But if it's what you fancy and don't want to get on a plane then it will do! I personally would enjoy more sauce options for my wrap.

The food was really nice, we got take away. The only comment is that it would be great if they could ensure the staff who picks up the phone speaks English. We needed some adjustments due to food intolerance and it was a bit challenging to get through. But very happy with the food!

Have tried 3 times now, first two were excellent, last time not so good. Barely any salad and chips were not seasoned as they usually are. Chicken did not taste very nice and to top it off they did not include the lovely tzatziki sauce. Might have been a one-off bad night but at £10 (£40 for a family) there should be no excuses in my opinion. Not sure if I will try again.

Nowhere in this country does Gyros like they do in Greece. Up until now. It was just like being in Greece. Huge portion size and great tasting. I will be a regular from now on

First time ordering from Pitta Souvlaki and it was won’t be the last. Food was absolutely delicious, authentic and flavoursome. Portion sizes were very generous and lots of choice on the menu. 10/10 would recommend from 6 very satisfied diners.

This is not your regular kebab shop and I would suggest giving it a try. Price is reasonable for what you get. Popped in here on the way home and had a 'Greek' kebab. Everything was fresh, the minced beef and lamb kebab was really tasty, plus the pitta is not your regular pitta either and very nice. Fries were very good too and had a touch of salt and herb. Recommended.
