The best restaurants in Lewes Bridge Lewes South East

Couldn't recommend Dill more highly. The food was all absolutely wonderful - every dish was delicious, really inventive and beautifully presented. We loved how the sharing dishes would come out as they are made, and is really felt like a journey through the meal. The setting was really relaxed and unpretentious - it felt like fine dining but without all the formality, which was just lovely. The wines were also delicious and it was great to try wines locally produced in East Sussex. We have been to many fine dining restaurants and would rate this amongst the best. A real treat - highly recommend.

Had coffee in Lewes cafe. Coffee was so bitter. Think they've changed brands. Not good

We were really looked after by Ali and the manager on the night of 9th of December. Ali was very proactive to our request to have an extra bed made up for our family room.

Parking was full, but what would you expect from the best shop for miles and miles?

Just wasted £8.50 here on a toasted sandwich and soup, both of which arrived a full 15 minutes after my partner's meal (which was horrible). The sandwich was dire and I couldn't eat the soup as it was so hot and came so late that I'd have missed the film I'd booked to see. The staff were apologetic but did not offer a refund or food that I could actually eat. It seems like chaotic system is in place there. Another addition to Lewes very underwhelming food scene.

Really delicious selection of fresh sandwiches including baguettes, toasties and filled focaccias priced around £4. The focaccia in the photo is the Brie and bacon focaccia which was £3.95. Staff will also heat it up for you which made it taste even better. Pastries cost around £2 each which is reasonably priced for a high street bakery and the cinnamon roll was very sweet and flavourful at prices at £1.90. There is not a large seating area and it can get busy but all in all a lovely place to have a light lunch.

A great asset to the town. Nice cafe, good films at a reasonable price, comfortable seats.

Had the best Schnitzel I've had outside of Germany, and our server Nisha was incredible, delightful and super attentive. Will be back here at the soonest opportunity

A must visit shop if you are in Lewes. As on a ex-military reunion and I live in Northumberland, this shop is amazing with quirky, never seen before, ethical sourced gifts. I managed to get presents for all the family in the one shop. Hope one day to revisit Lewes. A fantastic town and a great shop.

I come here regularly. The coffee is particularly good and head barista, Owen, makes the best coffee. There is always space to work too, and the food is nice.

Quaint lil pub. Cosy. Recommended.

Super pub. Great tunes (at 1pm on a Friday!)

It's at the bottom of town before we headed back, we popped in and enjoyed it
