So sad to be writing this as i was a frequent customer, but I’m currently suffering with food poisoning after eating their kebab. Safe to say I will never risk this again. I feel like I’ve been dragged to hell and back. The only positive thing I can say is the weight I’ve put on over Xmas has been taken. 🤮

Great, tasty food, much better than other fast food places! Ok interior, could be better, then again, it is a small establishment I will definitely come again. Would really recommend.

Load of shit. Constantly changing there prices. You ask for something specific and they decide to send you something else. This has happened more then once. We are regularly customers we come every week since moving to Lewes 3 months ago. First time was perfect, 2nd time they messed up our order. They then send out other shit then say there do next meal on the house but instead they come to our door demand the money and leave a bottle of fizzy. We spend at least £30/£35 each time too. However the delivery drivers I have no complaints about 10/10

Flippin lovely!!! A really friendly lad delivered quicker than expected. Chicken was cooked to perfection with all salad in pitta bread and a gorgeous sauce. Recommended. Yum flippin yum xxx

This place is an absolute gem, I came here with my friends, I had the kofte kebab and it was just outstanding, best I’ve had. Definitely will be returning.

Burgers are better value than fish and chips, quality much more dependable.

I made an order online at 10:50 it’s now 11:55 and I still haven’t received my food. They declined my order at 11:00 because it’s too late to serve… yet advertising close at 12pm. Very poor service. False advertisement and shocking customer service.

This is one of the best Donner kebabs that I’ve had in the UK, perfectly seasoned and sliced. Customer service was excellent, they threw in extra chips and drinks, they were very friendly and fast with their service. I would highly recommend.

Had a small chicken kebab in pita with their own spicy (but really good) chilli sauce, and a portion of chips. It hit the spot after a mini pub crawl with some mates 😍

There is only Efes donar Kebab. It is an absolutly authentic and the only donar kebab I will eat in east sussex. The fresh chilli sauce for the kebab is delicious. Service is fast and everyone is friendly. Today I was given a bonus pot of freshly cut donar, so delicious... Thank you.

Delicious kebabs, piles of fresh delicious salad packed in with chicken or lamb skewers. Always tender meat, cooked to perfection, marinades are delicious. Really good value and customer service is engaged, positive and very caring. Great work Effes!

These guys do the best dirty chips I’ve ever had! Cheese Chili sauce cabbage onion salt pepper vinegar mayo Chili sauce ….. omg ate the whole bloody lot!

Efees is such a nice place to get food from, not greasey chips and Donna cooked really well with alot of nice flavours in the donner meat. With very nice pizza

The food was very tasty but unfortunately I was not happy because I bought a mixed kebab which cost £11.40 and it was the same size as my girlfriend small kebab for £7.50, why spend extra money just to get nothing extra?.

Everything was delicious and the staff was incredibly kind. They pampered us by explaining all the types of kebabs they prepare and giving recommendations. They also offered us a taste of a delicious dessert with pistachio. I definitely recommend it and if we are in the area again we will definitely stop by.

Ordered kebab’s for tea tonight online, won’t do that again told it would be 45 minutes that works good didn’t arrive until over an hr later cold. Called twice to be told on its way very then when it arrived called to say it was cold to be told again very busy and when you order again I’ll look after you. Hmm didn’t look after us then why would I think you would next time 😡

Very disappointed. Took my children for their first Doner Kebab, after the horrendous aftermath it will also be their last. On arrival the spit was turned off so they lit the gas there and then. Now to say this was lunchtime and it was not on should have been warning enough. Stupidly I trusted that those serving knew what they were doing, apparently not. Hygiene is poor, very poor and having spent several hours now holding crying children's hands while they experience painful cramps and diarrhoea I think it's safe to say that one star is generous. Very annoyed that I didn't think to challenge them over their approach at the time, not least the guy walking in from the street and helping to serve without washing his hands, and wiping the carving blade on a rag after cutting. Yes, the clues were all there, but I assumed I could trust these guys. Please don't, trust your own instincts when visiting.

Open late, which is a major plus for Lewes! Very pleasant visit, friendly staff, and the food was delicious. I bought a cheese burger with chips for a reasonable price. Would recommend.

I have had some terrible kebabs in my time but this is as vile as it gets, meat was hard onion rings tasted more like donuts, as if they hadn't been cooked at all. Atmosphere was horrible, I hardly expect the ritz from a kebab shop but was truly repulsive.

They serve a good kebab, fresh & good meat. A little pricey but good portions They only take cash which is a big put off and not convenient or safe given the current pandemic. I would order more frequently if they accepted card payments.

Normal delivery very good new one not so good Waited another 2 hours this eve when called numerous times was fobbed off then called again saying they didn't have my order and guy on the phone was quite rude . Quite shocking really was a loyal customer

Very disappointed with Efes tonight,ordered our usual.and half of my husbands was missing!!he loves spicey food so we always ask for plenty of chillis,and hot sauce but got NONE....Please could whoever organises packing the food make sure that all of what is requested is actually in the package...Thankyou...Usually no complaints..

Thay will not deliver to me because thay stuffed up my order thay came back 3 times and the food was cold the manager side no more it there lost

They do kebabs that are consistently better than average. Not spectacular, but consistently better than average. I just wish that they weren't so freaking expensive.
