If you are in Restaurant business you should know how to behave no matter what I have ordered

Had a lovely meal mid-week, the service was a little slow although the staff were friendly. We were a table of 5 all the dishes were hot and very tasty. We usually have a takeaway but we will be sitting in more often.

One word.. Bland.. if you’re after authentic Indian cuisine, this is not the place for you.. no aroma of spices being cooked on entry to and in the restaurant.. main course late arriving. Should’ve left after I realised there was no taste in the starter. Weirdly why do they feel the need to add red colouring to main dishes. Only item worth raving about was the rice…

I just really, really love Moloncho. It is so tasty and such good quality and very well priced.

Visited the restaurant with friends of mine visiting from Leicester. Atmosphere hard to gauge as it was a wednesday night and only two other people in the restaurant. Found the service a bit rushed but very polite The food was amazing I had a chilli paneer masala which I have to say after enjoying Indian cuisine for over 30 years this was by far the best dish I've ever had.

Very good place to eat. The food is always good. We only ever had takeaway there, can’t tell about eat-in service. The food is always ready in about 20mins.

Chicken tika was coloured dark red Chicken bhuna was bland and lacking in flavour Veg curry again no flavour and bland The whole meal was a complete let down!

I prefer and suggest take away. I do know this place is busy as it’s only open in the evenings and there are less choice of restaurants open in peacehaven and nearby area people don’t have much of a choice. But still the dinning and service is not good they don’t greet or treat you well unless you’re a regular as i observe. The staff are bit rush and also be careful of allergens as they don’t have much knowledge about food allergies. I say avoid drinks as they’re expensive for the portion. I spent like 13£ just for like 100ml of non alcoholic mocktail seriously i was made a fool.

Best Curry around. Great special dishes especially the fish curries. The take away is as good as if you sat down. Certainly will recommend Moloncho.

We have been using Maloncho for over 7 years and we agree that it’s the best curry house ever. The service and the food is absolutely superb. Evan when we have family down they all say that the food is outstanding. And so are the delivery staff always so polite .

Use mainly for take away, great food

They had a different menu on there fb page and when I asked why us the price different the guy was very rude so I canceled my order not a good service didn't even try the food so I ant judge in that but the way he spoke to me was his lucky I wasn't there.

A first time visit with friends and we all came away raving about this place. Excellent food, attentive but not overbearing service and all reasonable priced. We'll definitely be returning. Update: A return visit with the same people which reprised our opinion from the last one. Excellent all round.

We had a take-out from here and it was delicious. Good size portions and great variety of dishes to choose from.

This place just making money by naming Indian restaurant…when I trying to say him about the famous dish he was like forgot about Indian food I don’t have any idea about what you’re taking in a rude way..this not my first time if you custom something like low chilli anything they just charge you 13 -14 pounds when the dish is 7 pounds in the menu this happened 2 times with me

I star only because I had no choose. All the food was cold and it all tasted like tomato sauce. No flavour what so ever of Indians spices. I was appalled as I have had some really great Indians this was the worst.

I love their curry's. I've eaten inside a few times. Food is always great, but it's to open and cold in there. I like a dark warm curry place to eat.

Fantastic quality food. Very nice tikka masa, very nice vegetable side dishes. Best Indian takeaway in the area and I have tried most. I would visit more regularly if they were open half an hour earlier.

The decor was peaceful and clean the staff was attentive but not intrusive the food was succulent and delicious the cost was entirely acceptable, I would recommend everyone that enjoys Indian food to try this gem of a restaurant

Staff are always polite. They work hard. The Beakfast is always warm. On the other hand when you order take-away, Midday/Evening the chips so cold so quickly unless you eat straightaway. When I went to Kos, I has Mc D's takeaway they place in a hot bag. Why can't you do this in the UK? Keeps all food hot and you want to eat it!

This is our 2nd time we've had a takeaway from here and I just want to say it's the BEST Indian that we've ever tasted, lovely staff, amazing food and all ready when we went to pick it up, thank you.

We had three takeaway dishes and while they were certainly tasty, the seasoning was not very differentiated where it should have been. Two of the dishes were overly sweetened. Service was on the grumpy side.

Three stars and then adjusted accordingly. I need to say that this was a flying visit, or quick takeaway. All i had was the roganjosh, but i will be fair in my short assessment. Cust service. 5/5. V v good. Greeted immediately, food ready and hot. Cleanliness. 5/5. Premises immaculate. Food packed with care. Food. 1/5. Hot, lots of chicken but bland. Unfortunately, and i eat a lot of roganjosh, the chef is not adventurous enough with his spices.

This has been my favourite for many many years! 100% recommend the Khazana Maloncho along with the BEST Saag Paneer i have ever had! Cannot be matched anywhere!

Without doubt the BEST Indian takeaway in Sussex. Always perfect, always polite, even when they are busy, even the delivery staff are brilliant. If you want the best then you have to wait but I have never regretted it. Cannot wait for the restaurant section to open again.

I went there for a meal it said restaurant open it wasn't only takeaway .When I said the website says restaurant open they said they did website long time ago .I did say well you can update your website didn't seem interested .Very disappointing

The service from here is amazing, when I ran into a small payment with card problem it was indeed sorted before it had any effect, the food is of exemplary standard. Two big recommendations are Chicken Passanda & Jaipuri Chicken, both on their specials menu.

Food here always lovely, front of house staff friendly and professional. Need to mention one of the delivery drivers, he's brilliant, just can't mind his name but keep up the good work.

Great Indian with nice front of house staff. Take away good. But pick up times not very accurate as had to wait 20+mins more than when they said to come collect.

VERY POOR SERVICE, AND THE FOOD IS NOT TO BE DESIRED. LAMB WAS TOUGH AND DRY AND THE SAUCE WAS STUPIDLY HOT THAT YOU COULD NOT EVEN ENJOY IT. MOST OF IT WENT IN THE BIN.

So order from Maloncho last night disgusting service 1 1/2 hours Do Not Order any food it will be cold and wrong order 😡😡when you ring manager Rude and abrupt !!!! You been warned !

I have never eaten in and always get takeaway which can sometimes take a while as they are usually extremely busy but it is always worth the wait. They will also tend to needs as I’m a vegetarian and can be a bit fussy so I’m lucky enough for them to make me off the menu dishes. The people are always very chatty in a good way of course and they are always very welcoming and remember you well (might be as I’m a fussy customer lol).

My son bought a takeaway at 7 pm (15/8/20) after a long day working on his new house and to our astonishment, it turned out to be the worst Indian takeaway we have ever experienced or tasted. Food without any Taste, Smell or Flavour and therefore the only score they deserve is a score of ZERO star but in order to submit a review, one has to put one star! To be specific rather than generalise, Chicken Tika Masala two large helpings which were impregnated with sugar and did not taste anything like the normal Chicken Tika Masala. Seekh kebab were uneatable because of distinct preservation with excessive salt and were decidedly briny not to mention, some of them were totally scorched and charred. Well, the Bhindi and Tarka Dal can only be described as bland, unappetizing and tasteless without any subtle Indian flavours or smell. Hence, the only thing which remains for a self taught chef since the university days, is to say please, please, please refrain from buying or ordering Bangaladeshi or Indian food from Maloncho ever. Avoid it like Covid - 19 because there are a lots of other reputable Indian restaurants you can order from, for your gastronomic delight..

Maloncho has an amazing selection of Asian/Indian food which is quite delicious and there is food for every palate. All the staff there were very friendly, it all feels like a very luxurious experience. On the inside it looks very expensive and the interior, even the bathrooms were maintained spectacularly and was very clean. 5/5 I would definitely recommend anyone to eat here!

Last weekend we had possibly the worst Indian takeaway o have ever had. My starter of tandoori prawns consisted of two slimy prawns. My partners pakoras looked nothing like any pakora either of us had ever had and had no sign of chicken in them. Both of our main meals were chicken and both dry and bland. I would rather eat an Asda curry that order from here again

Great food, great staff, and never too busy to great old friends. The only tip for your own sanity would be don’t telephone an order in for delivery - go to them and smell the aromas! Book a table. Let them show you Indian hospitality at its best.

Went to try them so called for a delivery, as it stated 3 mile radius from them. I mapped it 2.7m so I called to place an order and apparently they dont go to Newhaven as there is a one way system . Gentleman on the phone rude and abrupt didnt even get to try the food, terrible!

Have recently had 3 takeaways from here that have been excellent. Did not enjoy about a year ago, but I’m glad I’ve now gone back. Give it another try. It’s got a lot better .

Have visited the restaurant and had take-aways delivered when family and friends visit on many occasions.Food is normally of the very highest standard and probably one of the best in Brighton. But the home deliveries are often look warm and the Tandoori chicken dry and appears to have been warmed up after previous cooking.This has happened on several occasions to the point I stopped ordering or even going.. I have returned and mentioned the problem and the last delivery was well cooked and nice but unfortunately they do not seem to use the insulated box to transport the hot food so that it stays hot but bring it plastic bags. Sorry this is not good enough so no more warm deliveries thank you.

I've only used this as take away. For years I have used this and it's always been good quality food. Friendly staff however they dont deliver to me in Woodingdean. Which is a shame.

I had a really great night out recently with some friends and I really cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The food was absolutely top notch, served fresh and hot. The staff were really nice, friendly people. We were respectful, although spirits were high and the owner and his staff joined in the fun. They also have an amazing view of the sea from many areas of the restaurant which serves to enhance the relaxed dining experience. I really cannot rate this restaurant highly enough and would more than happily dine there again.

Not the greatest curry house. If you actually have a complaint or Even just something missed from order, they are very defensive. And we had been loyal customer's. Such a shame as Its Peacehavens only option.
