Second time I've been here. First time was great couldn't fault it though didn't order alot. This time ordered alot more fed the whole family. Food is spot on, would probably say the best Chinese iv had. None of it is greasy. Full of flavour. Great sauces. Ready in good time and a friendly lad serving. 10/10 will be going back
Attended a wedding fayre last weekend and was impressed with the set up until I saw the shabby state of the outside area. There were rotten pontoons and every piece of fencing needed replacing. The location is popular because of the lake it is at the side of. Sadly any wedding photos will be marred by the sheer look of neglect going on outside. It looks to have been many years since any kind of maintenance has been done. With the money it costs to have a wedding at the location, the least I would have hoped for would have been some care and attention to the location that will be a part of many newly married couples wedding pictures.
Very disappointing indeed.
A lovely place for lunch. Beautiful setting, especially when the weather is nice and you can sit out on one of the decks. Plenty of seating, service is quick and staff and pleasant. Food really nice and a good choice.
The most expensive chips I've ever eaten at £4 for one portion. Not nice ones either. The fat tasted and smelt old. I wouldn't buy from there again. I was intending to buy a portion each, but we ended up sharing one instead.
They had a massive queue of people buying at the car boot sale, so were making an absolute killing
Usual Costa fayre. Nothing particularly wrong with it but whoever runs this concession needs to decorate it inside and especially out. Looks an embarrassing mess. Takes the piss out the customer.
Not good
Arrived for a meal around 5pm . Lady behind the bar was lovely. So welcoming . Food was lovely we both had fish and chips. Cooked to order . No problems with parking .highly recommend
Had a lovely meal here this evening. The staff were lovely, welcoming and attentive.
My husband ordered the burger, which he enjoyed and I had the veggie curry which was fabulous.
For starters we shared the salt and pepper squid which was beautifully cooked.
All in all we had a lovely couple of hours before catching the ferry home.
I would definitely recommend.
Came here last October and it was very good, but today's visit awful, the carvery was bland, tasteless and poor section of veg. The pizza was burnt and one meal was forgotten, no ice available, glasses dirty, the ice cream was yellow and melted very quickly, the who place felt grubby and a dog had shat on the carpet, dogs shouldn't be in restaurants, except guide dogs obviously. We won't be back, shame great location.
