Miga in Isle of Wight

Second time I've been here. First time was great couldn't fault it though didn't order alot. This time ordered alot more fed the whole family. Food is spot on, would probably say the best Chinese iv had. None of it is greasy. Full of flavour. Great sauces. Ready in good time and a friendly lad serving. 10/10 will be going back

Not the best chinese I have had.Very water juices in the food which effected the flavours.

Hands down the worst Chinese in the area. Live local and ordered twice in the past couple of months. Never had Chinese food that is so tasteless. I'm Sure most of there sides are bought frozen and chucked in a deep fat fryer. I feel that this Chinese could improve massively. This is not Chinese food and the people that manage the take away shop need to realise that this food is not acceptable. Please improve. Hope you see this message! I am a nearby neighbour, from now on I will give you the look of disappointment until the next time I order, and the food has improved!

The one pro, the man taking the order was nice. The food was… to be honest disgusting! Im sorry but this is not cantonese style chicken, the sweet and sour sauce was like dirty dish water. Tasteless overcooked chow mein! Would not recommend

AVOID!!! We order a takeaway from here and our whole household had food poisoning!

Just the best chinese on the isle of wight hands down in my opinion. Everything on point, tasty as hell and hot. Always our regular haunt. If they delivered it would make my year but its worth the drive for sure

Lovely food from here, and always served and receive food quickly after ordering. Staff are always friendly and approachable.

Amazing food, never had a disappointing one yet. Service is good, however the atmosphere at the front of house could do with something, music etc whilst waiting for your food order. Other than that, it's amazing.

Best Chinese takeaway in the area

Staying in Wootton and thought we’d try this place. Good was ready fast for a collection. Friendly staff. Food was very nice. Will be back next time we are down.

Am on the Island for a week on holiday and ordered a meal from the Miga ordered 2 chicken chow mien which were not the best and I ordered kungpo chilli chicken. And what I received really was not what I asked for more like sweet and sour chicken, on the upside the bbq spare ribs were really good and also the prawn crackers too.

Ribs were tough, v chewy, sauce was nice. Ordered two chicken and cashew nuts, one came with hardly any chicken but a lovely sauce, the other one had tons of chicken but the sauce was just gravy. Duck spring roll had only beam sprouts in it. Chips and fried rice were ok. Am allergic to a chemical in onions, requested no onions-the duck in plum sauce came mostly as a tub of onions. £50 which meant it was an expensive disappointment. Two stars not one because one of the chicken dishes was ok, and the prawn rice was ok.

Young chow special fried rice and crispy shredded beef my favourite it is delicious. Thank you.

Really pleasant staff and the food overall was really good - we were a little apprehensive after reading some reviews but the food tasted fresh and was delicious. Our only criticism would be that the taste was slightly muted - hot dishes weren’t that hot and dishes with ginger/garlic/chilli etc.. needed more oomph!

Not the best, but not the worst! Decent pricing and portions but lacking a little flavour. Will order again but such a shame that they don’t offer a delivery service to Wootton Bridge customers

The food has always been v.good but tonight it was excellent :)

As this was the closest Chinese to our holiday site we waited until Wednesday to order and it didn’t disappoint - great portion sizes and very yummy too!

Being nearest Chinese to my holiday home for the week I decided to give Miga a go for dinner, a very pleasant young man behind the counter tock my order quickly and was very much looking forward to it. Within about 10 minutes my order was ready. Got back to the holiday home to find one of the items orderd was wrong. It seemed to be beef curry instead of chow mein. Have to say after going back to get the the correct item it was extremely disappointing.

Quick, friendly front of house, tastes great.

I've ordered from here a few times now. Good food and a very fast turnaround with my orders being ready to collect 15 minutes from phoning through.

We're visiting and staying nearby. This is, straight up, probably the best Chinese takeaway I've ever had. Just gorgeous.

My daughter and myself bought food from Miga on Friday night she been sick and iv had diarrhoea never been so.ill Money down the toilet never again.

Lovely staff however me and my mum have been ill, throwing up and have had the runs since we ate it on Friday night.

It's was absolutely fantastic amazing food amazing owner such a Gr8 place more people should eat there it unbelievable the food is so so good I have ate there so many times I reccomend this to everyone

First ever review, thought I'd risk Miga considering some of the other reviews and I can't express how wrong they were. Best Chinese takeaway I've ever had, the Lemon chicken comes with sauce separate so the chicken stays crispy... inspired!! Saigon chicken might be the best dish ever created! The mixed hor d'oeuvres, :O... best sesame toast since time began. Go most weeks, usually wait 20-30 mins, well worth it. Don't second guess it! get yourself a Miga

Very disappointing take away. The spare ribs were inedible, the special fried rice was over cooked. I wish I'd had fish & chips instead of wasting my money.

I collected my food to find that one of the items was wrong, I called up and he offered to swap it for the correct item. So I went down there and he rudely stood there and repeated numerous times that I was the one who messed up my own order. And then demanded I payed for the correct item as it was “my fault”. This is no way to treat your customer. Will not be using Miga again.

We ordered special rice and it was very burnt and incredibly dry. Very disappointing as never had a problem before.

Do the best Chinese curry I've had on the island!

Told it would be a 30 minute wait from order to collect. Ended up being 75 minutes. Barely an apology. No offer of compensation. It was only after an hour that I had to ask what was happening. Really poor. Never had service like it on the island. It's OK if you get busy and timescales slip... Its how you deal with it. And they were awful.

I'm fussy when it comes to Chinese food as have had a couple of bad experiences. I've also sampled from various takeaways around the world and this was easily amongst the best I have had. It was an unexpected pleasure and I will definitely be returning when next on the Island. My parents live in Wootton Bridge - lucky me!!

We searched for good reviews, we were slightly worried about the few bad reviews. I love Singapore fried noodles, so we ordered it against all the review advice. We were totally happy with everything we ordered, the food was definitely 5* we eat out regularly and know good food. We ordered the following for info:- Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style Beef in sezchuan sauce Egg fried rice Singapore rice noodles Honey BBQ Ribs

Had a Singapore fried rice it was so awful it tasted like curry powder and rice 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮payed ten £ shockingly never again

Best curry on the Isle of Wight. Although when busy there can be a delay, the food is worth the wait. Oh and don't forget to try the honey ribs!!

This is the worst Chinese takeaway i have ever had, I only had Singapore chow mein and a pancake roll how hard is that. The chow mein was very dry and powerdery and look burnt, the pancake roll was burnt at both ends and not cooked in the middle, how do you manage to do that? DO NOT USE THIS CHINESE TAKEAWAY
