Plastic plates not acceptable for the prices they charge used to have those at school for dinner they need to pick up the swan and duck mess aswell as not having their tables inclined because my plate kept on sliding down it no brollys out on the tables sap was falling on to my hand from the trees more food on the plate would be nice considering I payed £10 and hot drinks way to small for the price but other than that egg was nice
Popped in for a snack with a student, so needed a VAT receipt. Asked if they did them, to get a fairly rude response of no, back. Then I said an itemised receipt would be fine. After a mistake they then made at the till, they struggled to get me a receipt. The lady who served us was so rude asking why I should need an itemised receipt for just chips. She said she couldn’t fix the problem as the staff member who works on the till had already gone home, and “what did she want me to do about it?!!” To make things worse, she was the owner! Very rude. Will not be returning.

The restaurant rang me because free egg fried rice is only available if you pay cash (tax dodgers clearly)
I’ve ordered salt and pepper king prawns (on the menu says it’s hot but no sign of chilli’s when delivered) and everything just tastes plain and boring. Will never order again, £70 worth of order and they argue I have to pay cash to get the egg fried rice for free. Never again!!!!
Stayed at the Holliers Hotel for the weekend. Stayed there quiet a few years ago and was really nice the place was a bit tired back then but the food was amazing. This time the place is even more tired nothing has been changed the wallpaper is still coming off the walls, and the carpet is still the same. I know the new owners only took over in March this year but they have got a long way to go to get it up to date. The food wasn't great either. I would love to go back in a few years time to see what's changed if anything. The location us great and there is a great chip shop just up the road. Only 5 mins from the beach but very steep and the lift was broken. Don't bother going through Shanklin Chine £9.50 per adult to walk through the gardens really not worth it.

Outstanding food from this takeaway ... chicken pakoras best I've ever tasted and king prawn boona the best only place id go ..... highly recommend RYDE TANDOORI TAKEAWAY
I had an hour or two to kill in Ryde, so I decided to visit the Royal Victoria Arcade. I was drawn in by the Bohemian vibe, but stopped in my tracks when I arrived at the doomed ceiling and it's Devine frescos. They are truly stunning and worth a look. There are two shops that share this naturally lit central space at the end of the Arcade. Victoria Lanes is a well curated, nostalgic collection of memorabilia and paraphernalia from those Rule Britannica colonial times.
The second establishment made me reach for my Canon. AJ's Diner has the most authentic 50's décor that I have seen this side of Route 66 and North of the Dixy Highway. Spotlessly clean and sanitised, Buddy Holly on loud, I settled in to the best cooked Full English that I have had in ages. Super heated under the salamander, just like on the Dixy Highway, I can assure you that AJ's breakfast is in a league of it's own.
Well worth a visit next time you're lucky enough to be in Ryde
Cafe located within the Botanical gardens in Ventnor near the main entrance. Lots of parking outside (which is free if you are also visiting gardens). Really nice plantation style decor and dining are. Good quality dejection of snacks and lunch dishes. Good coffee. Order at counter and order delivered to table. Nice spot for lunch or coffee after a botanical garden visit.

The only negative for me was the Elvis Presley tunes that were playing.aoart from that the food was great and the staff efficient...I didn't have to wait long for my order, definitely recommend the Rodeo fries...👍🏻
We had a breakfast carvery today it was excellent, good quality sausages and bacon, and plenty of it with a bonus of unlimited tea and coffee, we cannot comment to much on the atmosphere as early morning not alot of people, but the staff were very friendly and helful, this is a place I would recommend to visit, it's got parking, and a great play area for kids, we will be back again to try their other menus, so give this a visit you won't be disappointed, thank you Bugle for an enjoyable breakfast. 👏👏👏😋
