Great food and service, I would say that the food from the high street take away is better than the food from union street, but the service is great at both

One of the best Indian restaurants in Isle of Wight. Take a way service is available a d the food is delicious, quantity and quality is amazing. If you are around Ryde you should try them once.

We have only ever got deliveries from Ryde tandoori, but out of approximately 20 different takeaways we have tried in Ryde, Wooton and Newport, Ryde tandoori is the only one that has NEVER let us down! Their food is not only absolutely delicious, but you get a very generous amount for what you pay, but the food is honestly the best Indian we have ever had!! Delivery is always consistent and we have never had a problem with them, the only reason I gave 3 stars for atmosphere is because I can't give a fair review as we have never eaten at the establishment.

Wouldn't feed this food to my dog, 0 taste. Indian food is suppose to be a blend of flavours not a watery bland mess. The cooks need sacking

Won't be ordering again!! Order often from this takeaway. Last time an hour and 15 minutes to be delivered understandable as it was the weekend. Ordered tonight hour and 45 minutes on a wednesday. Rang after an hour and told they had been getting pranked called so deliveries where slow called after and hour and 15 foods on its way. Hour and 45 minutes later food arrived to be told it's just been made so I was lied to on the phone. Just say a time don't lie!!

Always love the takeaways from Ryde tandoori, always value for money, delicious food. Delivery can sometimes take a bit longer during busy times but the food is always worth the wait!

ordered takeaway as family meal for a birthday, took 2 hours to arrive and our main issue was getting chicken meals when they were meant to be vegetarian, as well as lamb samosas instead of vegetable. we called to ask for replacements and we were met with blunt service and the excuse “your order was large”. we received the replacements 20 minutes later and the meal was still chicken and not vegetarian. we called again and were met with the same rudeness. this meant that someone had to go without their meal. as a solution we were offered a refund but only for 1 meal and nothing more, despite the initial 2 hour wait and consistent errors. i appreciate saturday night can be busy and we had “a large order” - however as a business your job is to get the order correct and not argue with the customer saying that they are wrong instead! utterly disappointed and frustrated with the service we received over the phone. can’t say we are in a hurry to order from them again.

Food was nice and the staff were great when I had a problem. I would order from here again. Fantastic

Foods lovely, can’t knock it but waiting times massively vary week to week. Several times we have been waiting up to 2hrs and had to phone to chase. Need to find a way of communicating better with your customers! Food wise - cannot fault it.

Great curry dishes. Portion sizes are great. Had the Lamb Biryani and butter chicken, garlic naan and mint sauce. This place never disappoints! If in Ryde give it a go. If not we’ll it’s worth the drive from Newport.

Ordered here as chuma was busy, meat was so undercooked a skilled vet could probably have revived it, even hanibal lecteur would have trouble stomaching it

First time eating from here. It was the best tasting food I have ever eaten! It was all cooked fresh and I can’t compliment the chefs enough. Can’t wait to get my next order placed!!

Ordered from here only because monsoon don't answer the phone. Worst curry ever. Prawn Puri was just very chewy shrimp with 2 pieces of bread on the side. Nothing like it's supposed to be. Pathia pretty tasteless. Never again

Ordered two Curry's, only one turned up.! An hour after I Called. Phones them back to be asked if I could get the other the next day.! Said no no no, was then asked if I wanted a free curry the next day.? Said no again they refused to bring my curry never got my money or the food, and this was not the first time they had got it wrong

At the beginning of 2022 they shut down for a month. Before this break I would have given 5 stars because of the value for money and the taste of the dishes. Now, however, the dishes I bought were only just edible, lacking in flavour and portion size reduced by about a third. I'm going to try elsewhere for my takeaway.

Lovely place to visit, food was amazing and tasted pretty authentic. Be mindful of the discounts during collection as I was supposed to receive a 10% discount however the lady worked this out incorrect and seemed upset that I told her it was incorrect. Despite this, I would visit again.

Ordered a takeaway from here and to be honest, you would be better off having a Tesco Indian microwave meal. Sauce was watery, the peshwari naan has next to no sugar/coconut and the food didn’t have much flavour (spice etc). I wouldn’t recommend unfortunately ☹️

I was welcomed by 3 smiling waiters telli g me I only had an hour to eat and leave. That's no problem As I sat down at my table I was asked if I wanted a drink. Sure let me look at the drinks menu. 30 seconds later I was asked again. I hadn't even had time to take my coat off. I left! They must've had a coach party arriving. Ridiculous!

Delicious meal l had the Sag Aloo, Cauliflower Bhaji, & a portion of Onion Bhaji's & it was all superb highly recommended & reasonable prices. Also not a long waiting time for food to be prepared, & cooked.

We ordered takeaways online and the food was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the saag aloo and the garlic naan. If you like your garlic naan to taste of garlic then this one’s for you!

Best Indian food I've had on island

Had one of the best Indian takeaways at this tandoori. I was on holiday with my family so we all wanted to have a Indian for a change. The food was delicious and extremely good value and lots of it. Would recommend the Lamb tikka biryani best ever. Can not recommend it highly enough. 10 out of 10 they also deliver.

Online ordering seems fine but to be sat here an hour and a half later is not good enough. I called after an hour and was told that it would be here soon. I called back after another half an hour and the lady on the phone told me that ‘we are trying’ and hung up on me. Not the service I expect

Visiting the I.O.W on hols and fancied a takeaway. We weren’t disappointed! Clean premises, friendly service and the food was delicious- would definitely recommend.
