Tried this takeaway even with the bad reviews, Apart from the miserable woman at the till, Food was piping hot very nice indeed. Fare price & they give discount for cash. I'll definitely be going again.

Ordered Friday night take aways. The “food” we got was awful. Chicken wing starter dry. Spring rolls had almost no filling. Main courses - we ordered 2 very different dishes which tasted EXACTLY the same. Very, very sweet. Chicken was reformed. I couldn’t eat it.

Poor quality food and they got the order wrong. The noodles in the Singapore mixed veg noodles were clumped together, which suggests that they were previously cooked and reheated. One thing I can say with confidence is that they were not fresh.

What a vile concoction of slop we had....sweet and sour veg in water sauce...crispy suck with the tiniest pancakes ever with non crispy duck....special chop suey which was insipid and chick9n with ginger and spring onion that wad again in a water sauce.....£36 in the bin had to have cheese on toast instead

It is take away or delivery. The food was OK and service friendly. It was quite good value for money.

I was surprised by Bizzy Wok. Best Chinese in ryde by far. Good food all round, whole family satisfied. Staff on phone helpful when ordering and delivered in good time for what I imagine is a popular takeaway. 8/10 definitely worth your money and time

Three attempts to phone through the order and no answer so husband went down there. The duck curry and chicken curry were heavy on the onion and not a lot of meat. Sweet and sour chicken balls were very stodgy. Special chow mein wass just disgusting as noodles were over cooked. Only thing ok was the rice and chips. Very disappointing meal as have order from here before, but wont be ordering again.

Ordered a four set meal ,as all adults when it arrived there was just bone on ribs no meat entirely and every meal was doubled up , very disappointed as I was treating my friends from London whom were not impressed also myself..will never order nor get from them agan ..

Why are Chinese takeaways and diners always closed on a Sunday in UK?

If this is the best Chinese Takeaway in Ryde as many have claimed in reviews on here, I would hate to eat at the bloody worst!! Lets start with the Egg Fried Rice, it was so bland and tasteless I had to add my own salt to it. They never added one drop of soy sauce to it and the egg pieces were so minuscule you would need a microscope to see them. The Chicken Curry flavour was ok and the Chicken pieces were large but the texture of the chicken was very weird and did not taste like Chicken at all, just horrible. The bbq spare ribs were also bland and flavourless and not even cooked to a crispy finish so again the texture was awful. Overall one of the worst Chinese Takeaways Ive had and one to avoid.

Decided to order a Chinese meal but so disappointed I will never order from Bizzy Wok again. Egg fried rice completely colourless and tasteless (it was hot though) but the Chicken and Cashew Nut was the worst I have ever tasted. The chicken wasn't like chicken (reformed?) and was soft, white and watery. The dish consisted mainly of white onion slices, a couple of bits of green pepper and a colourless, tasteless sauce with a few cashew nuts sprinkled on top. Even the cashew nuts were soft not crunchy. Very. very disappointed.

Never again...🤢🤮. We all taste things differently of course. The front of house Lady was so rude and that's a big no no...

Ordered a delivery, usually really nice. However this time the chicken balls were slightly burnt. Unusual for this Chinese hope it was a one off.

As Chinese takeaways go, Bizzy Wok is well worth trying. I find the simplest of dishes such as egg fried rice will give me a clue how the rest of the food will be and they don't let down. The owner and his staff are friendly and helpfull. The food good , for a Chinese takeaway.on the Ie of Wight. I recommend giving them a try. Bon appetit G

Food was decent overall, good quality - no complaints. 10% off for cash payment was a nice feature too. Delivery was going to be around 90 minutes, so we collected and was ready in 15 minutes - no issues. Would use again! :)

Order came to £11.90. I thought it was over £12. Menu said £1.50 delivery charge if order is under £12. Fair enough. Bit annoyed she didn't tell me I was 10p under. I was charged £13. The delivery lad told me they charge £1.00 for delivery anyway. Not on the menu. Very confusing. Probably use China garden in future.

Good food but trying to get through on the phone is actually a nightmare and spoils the experience of treating yourself to a takeaway. Have literally been trying to get through for half an hour and this isn't the first time. They need an online ordering service. Food is good when you can get it. Pick up the bloody phone!

Members of my family and I have ordered from Bizzy Wok since we first moved to Ryde around 4/5 years ago and in all that time we've only had one minor problem (the wrong sauce was included) but that was solved very easily. No problems in 5 years speaks volumes about their food, and their service. Staff are friendly and polite, easy to speak to either inside or via the phone, I feel that the food is priced really well - especially compared to other venues on the Island, and the quality is fantastic. Very good portion sizes, too. Bizzy Wok are my favourite takeaway on the Island and will continue to have my patronage for as long as they're open.

Amazing, we had ordered a takeaway and got home to find small error with a gluten free option phoned back just after closing time, they were very helpfull and sent out a fresh order delivered to my door, cant praise enough for an outstanding service and food was fantastic, will be back for sure. The best Friday take-away EVER. Sweet & sour Chicken Balls, Egg Fried Rice & BBQ Pork Ribs. AMAZING. Makes not cooking such a pleasure. LOVE IT.

Ordered from this place a few times, and the food is ok, nothing special but ok... their chow mein is the main thing i order from there and it’s plain, not much flavour sometimes even a little dry, however the portion is good... their salt and chilli chips BANG, soo much flavour and the portion for the price is fantastic, would recommend them...

Beautifully presented food served quickly. The special chow mein in a round dish looked as if it was on a restaurant plate. My pork had unexpected healthy veg. Loads of bright & colourful veg in both dishes. The fried rice was lighter than most which made it easier to eat. Most of all, it was hot, and stayed hot to bottom. Best Chinese ever eaten.

Most of the time the food has been fantastic, the only reason I do not give them 5 stars is because of the menu, on it says Fried chicken, and it has been already two times in which I got some boild or steamed chicken on it. Defenitly it did not manage my expectations. If the menu says fried, you expect fried. Apart from that I think it is the best chinise in Ryde

Food is always excellent just a shame they told me it would be a 10 minute wait and I ended up waiting 30-40 minutes. This wasn't delivery. People before me got theirs in 10 mins.

Food is good, the service in Nice and the prices are generous.

Maybe I've been spoilt at other places but sweet n sour pork balls usually consists of a lump of pork dipped in batter and fried, these seem to be dough balls with a pork flavour or the slightest slither of actual pork meat. Same with the prawn balls, one king prawn cut up and hidden in 10 dough balls. Sorry bizzy wok

Been using them for just over a year and by far the best Chinese takeaway in Ryde.The food always tastes amazing, always hot and is delivered in a reasonable time.The customer service is always friendly and helpful every time I've rang to order. I've only had my order messed up once, but it was dealt with very quickly and professionally, hence the 5star rating

Disgusting now i usally go here becoz its pretty good until today ... my partner order sweet and sour chicken balls thats all i will eat i bit into it and the chicken was off it was grey it stunk when i took it back they tried to say it was pork ! So i said pork doesnt go grey when cooked your serving a pregnant woman off mouldy grey food ... im never going back there they tried to get out of it like if they dont no what cooked meat looks like they shouldnt be open

Sorry but not nice, we ordered once from here and the food was horrible, the lemon chicken smelt funny and tasted dodgy! We ended up with stomach bugs for a few days!! The noodles were cold and tasted days old! Please don't cook up old food it's rancid. We don't recommend this place.

The food is prepared quick and the service is good but the quality has gone, 2 years ago I would have said it was the best take away in Ryde - now it is just average! Shame.

For the third time in a year, I have placed an order and one of the items was missing.The first time I rang and they sent it up, we had eaten and it got thrown away because no one ate it. Second time we placed a big order paid for by friends. The value was nearly £70, shredded chilli beef never arrived. I told the lady the next time I ordered, no apologies, no free item. Today first item I ordered didn’t turn up, I rang an got a pathetic response, so I told the girl to forget it and put the phone down. I will not be using this restaurant again , food was always nice so it is a shame, they are just incompetent.

Use to be nice, had egg fried rice sweet n sour chicken and plain noodles, egg fried rice had orange yolk in it,, the batter wasn't crispy really stodgy chicken really dry noodles really greasy won't be going back

Had takeaway - service & delivery was good, had sweet & sour chia & beef in black bean sauce, both sauces seemed watery & unlike sauces had in other places.

Checked out reviews for Chinese takeaways whilst holidaying in IOW and I can see why it was full of locals. Food and service was very good. I would recommend parking on John Street, with the walk worth it round the corner.

Been coming here for years. Food is very good, only had the odd bad dish, and on those occasions they have refunded. However, my biggest peev at the moment is that they just changed the menu puting prices up and the collection discount from 15% to 10% so my usual £9 order is now £13. Not only that but the portions were smaller. The containers were not full like they used to be. I have decided to go to another local Chinese where the food is excellent (but I didn't go often as was more expensive), but now the prices will match I may as well get the best I can for the same money

We have never complained after receiving a take away before, but we felt we had to. It was awful. Raw spring rolls. Deep fried chicken satay. Everything fried and soggy. The grilled dumplings certainly were not grilled. The only thing we ate was the 1/4 duck and this was only ok at best.We called them as we felt it was truly dreadful. The lady said it was personal preference and as we'd tried the food she couldn't give us a refund?! She said she was running a business and couldn't just take our word for it that we hadn't eaten it! Clearly they receive these types of complaints a lot for her to be so defensive. She said they don't receive complaints, but if that were true and we were their first complaint, surely they'd be apologetic and do what they could to rectify the situation?!I said I would happily drop the food back or they could come and collect it to prove we hadn't eaten it and show how awful it was. I said I'd pay for the duck as we had indeed eaten it. We ended up driving there to show we hadn't eaten it (not what we wanted to do at 9pm when we had ordered a delivery). They did end up giving some money back but still maintained personal preference and that's just "how they cook it." If you actually read these reviews, you may draw the conclusion that they have been written by themselves...

As a non islander I didn't know what to expect. But the food was ok and was ready quick enough. My lower rating is because they used chicken thigh and not chicken breast, which is a big no no as it tastes fatty!

Ordered Beef Curry, Boiled Rice, Singapore Fried Rice and King Prawn Chowmein with Vegetables. Great quality food, great value. Well impressed I will be back buying more delicious food from this Great Takeaway in Ryde. 5 ***** A+++++

Very disappointing food. Ordered crispy duck, pancakes were stuck together and were hard, which cracked when rolled up. Secondly ordered sweet and sour chicken balls, more batter than chicken and were soft and springy, not crispy as they should be. Special fried rice was ok, but a bit on the soggy side. Certainly won't be using again.
