"My new favourite Chinese takeaway". First time customer here and I was so impressed that I just had to leave a review. I thought I'd give them a go, as my regular in Shanklin is now so expensive. The food here was top notch, 10/10, and very reasonably priced. I ordered on the website and collected 20 mins later. Friendly staff. Will definitely be coming here from now on.

After 3 days and three nights of the best Inn/Pub that I have ever stayed/drank in, I left regrettably to continue our U.K. adventures...... The service/staff friendliness is the highlight I will cherish the most in my memories and a return visit is a "must do"... Holley & John are "superstars" ... Lots of love, Heather & Ian. Visited on what was possibly the wettest and windiest New Years Eve ever (maybe not ever, but it was pretty wild!) and we loved the place. Nine of use aged between 6 months and 86 years satnupstairs and we all enjoyed what we had off the menu....although the 6 month old declined the steak pie in favour of her own bottle. I had the Steak and Stilton pie with mash which was very nice. Staff very helpful with directions to "the tree". Would definitely recommend.

Driving along the road heading into Keswick decide to stop here for a drink. We were greeted with a warm welcome so much so decided we would stay for evening meal. My friend and I were not disappointed. Food was superb and service first class. Couldnt do enough for us. I can certainly recommend this lovely place and hope to go back very soon.

Visited for Sunday lunch, v friendly meet and greet, limited menu, we ate lamb and beef roast dinners, well presented, v tasty and large portions, served with good wine and Loweswater Gold beer. Another excellent lunch, many thanks, we will return.

Este es un salón de té, que tiene excelentes sopas y sandwiches especiales, además de la hora del almuerzo pero no la cena por la noche. Tienen un ruido pero Parrot increíble. El acceso está restringido al subir una empinada escalera de caracol con una cuerda manejar, no he conocido a abierto por las noches, pero definitivamente vale la pena una visita.

I vowed never to eat again at the Talbit after a horrible roast dinner in May but I chanced it again and I am so pleased I did. The food was really nicely prepared with succulent roast beef and vegetables that were not overcooked. The staff were also amazing. I went again a few days later and had an equally enjoyable meal. It is so much improved and now a great place to eat.

Was told 1 hour for delivery, called after 1 hrs 30 min to be told was out for delivery. Then we hit 2 hours wait to be told its was still out for delivery! Then it arrived after 2 hrs 30min. It did arrive hot but obviously lied to us each time we called we is frustrating! Would of been nice to of been told the truth. Food was ok

We went here twice recently and both times we were totally ignored by all staff even though we were stood at the counter ....the first time we waited over 20 mins during which NOBODY acknowledged our existence .....loads of people behind us walked out.....the second time when it happened again WE walked out....we appreciate the place was busy but all they had to do was say " sorry guys we're really busy we'll be with you shortly" ....basic customer service is not rocket science....it's basic manners .....we will not be returning a third time .....we went up the road to the Salix ....and got acknowledgement and service quickly ....and they were rammed so can't use that as an excuse......

One of the best Chinese takeaways we’ve ever had. They forgot our 2nd portion of beef and black bean but apart from that no complaints.

We booked to visit on the 14th feb for 1 night. Due to circumstances changes we had to cancel the booking. I tried to call numerous times left voicemails, I called the Wats app number they sent after the booking,again no response. I also emailed 3 times to clarify the cancellation as it was over 3 weeks in advance. I finally got a reply on the 27th Jan to say sorry we've had a power cut for 2 days and have been unable to access vlicemails or emails. Clarified they had cancelled the booking. Today 15th Feb I receive an email to say following on from a no show you will be charged the whole amount of £130! Again relentlessly tried to contact the place with no joy, left voicemail and sent email asking them to contact me. I called the credit card company as luckily we had provisionally booked via this method. To my absolute horror I was Informed that not only had the Mortal Man tried to take the £130 for the room that had been CANCELLED but they had also taken further attempts to deduct a £90,£50 and a £30!!!!! The credit card company have put a stop on this and it has been reported as fraud. I would absolutely not even attempt to book at this place it's not even worth it. If I had paid debit card thus would have been automatically deducted from our bank, totally unacceptable and shocking customer service also AVOID BOOKING !!!!!!!!!

Tasty fresh food at a good price. Very good portions. I’m intolerant to dairy and gluten but Tower Bank Arms bent over backwards to accommodate me for breakfast and dinner. Stunning food and a lovely atmosphere. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Very accommodating for a group of 13 hikers, provided an excellent meal and great drinks at the end of our long walk. Everyone enjoyed their freshly cooked meals. Great menu.

We popped into today for a panini and hot drink after walking around Buttermere lake with our dog. Lovely bright and airy space with nice furnishings. Definitely picked the right place to eat. We would definitely return and recommend for others to visit too.
