Situated in a small business park, nestled in the South Downs, I visit this cafe several times a month. A very good menu, with a warm welcome, indoor and outdoor seating and pets welcome. Open weekdays until 2pm

Excellent food served by a young attentive staff. A good choice of locally produced food in a creative well put together menu. Excellent choice of cocktails and wines with many by the glass which is a refreshing change to most restaurants. Tables sensibly spread out unlike so many who try and cram too many in. Easy parking makes for a great night out. Would highly recommend.

An exceptional and very friendly pub, a very warm welcome from the staff, and a absolutely delicious meal. The scampi was lovely, the steak burger was outstanding, and it's well worth a visit. May we pass our thanks to all the staff for making our visit worthwhile. From Ray,Rosemary, and our dog Susie Table 21 @ 12noon today.

Weâve used Fuel ever since we discovered it in 2019. Yes itâs a bit of a hike from where we live but itâs so worth it, the food, coffee, cakes, milkshakes are first class and always have been. We always grab takeaways and now occasionally eat in when we can. We love the folks who own the place and their ethos. Keep it up and weâll keep on coming

Situated just off the high street, this community cafe attached to the church (only open Mon-Fri in the mornings), has a wonderful bunch of friendly volunteers, serving a simple selection of drinks and lite bites at very good prices all served with a smile. The hall is lovely light and airy, seats outside too if the weather is good enough.

I'm a member of the Stag Owners Club and we've adopted Tottington Manor Hotel for our club and breakfast meetings. Located at the foot of the South Downs in a quiet countryside setting with large gravelled carpark it's a lovely spot. I've not stayed overnight at the hotel so am unable to comment on the rooms but the public areas, (and our meeting rooms), are clean and nicely furnished whilst the staff are friendly and attentive with nothing being too much trouble. Guests are made to feel very welcome. The breakfasts there are memorable - homemade fruit yoghurts, croissants, and a variety of cooked breakfasts are available. Like the majority of our members I go for the Full English - a superb well cooked dish comprising your choice of egg, (fried, scrambled or poached), vine tomatoes, large field mushroom, a large meaty sausage, bacon, baked beans and toast all washed down with fruit juice, coffee and tea. I've no hesitation in recommending.

We stayed for our wedding night and had told them in advance. We came to the room to find âHappy Anniversaryâ on the table which felt a bit insulting. We requested a bottle of Prosecco which was left in an ice bucket at our request. The jacuzzi was a nice touch in the room but was a squeeze for 2. The bed was comfortable and room a nice size. Cannot fault the staff as we arrived as we were unable to find a takeaway open so they provided us with snacks. Breakfast was ok and quite a variety. Not a bad stay but we felt it was quite pricey for what you got.

Only got a three as the landlord was so miserable that we were laughing. We mentioned it to his wife and she shook her head I think in embarrassment and went out the back. Anyway as a group after shooting all said it could really be nice in the right hands. Had 3 pints and left never been back but pass it regularly.
