Took Mum and Dad here for lunch. It was really nice. We had a few starters to share. Bruschetta, Empanadas and Crispy Tapioca. Beautifully presented and delicious. Dad and I had the Moqueca fish stew. It was so fresh and tasty and the amount of fish was perfect and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend. Mum had a lovely crumbly crusted steak pie with mash. Really hearty and homely. Overall it wasn't cheap but it was absolutely good value for money considering the size of the portions and freshness and taste. It's hard to find places now that make you feel this way and keep the standard high for a reasonable price. We were very very impressed and would love to go back soon.

The menu boasted a number of Brazilian dishes. My wonderful wife has recently been diagnosed as wheat intolerant so after considerable investigations we decided to give this pub/restaurant a go. On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful 5/5. They displayed much better than average knowledge of intolerance to wheat which really raised our hopes to the point we were planning our next visit. Again 5/5. Brilliant. We ordered two of the Brazilian dishes and patiently awaited their arrival. I had ordered the Lamb Shank Xim-Xim my wife went for the Feijoada. The plates arrived in good time and I was presented with a spoon to eat my meat with! The lamb was sooooooo tender a spoon was all that was needed. However, the flavour of my favourite meat was masked with an over seasoned saltiness I should point out on the salty scale, I do like my food to be a little salty, much more so than my wife, but this was just a fraction too salty for my preference. Not too salty to eat, but the enjoyment of eating spoon cut lamb was certainly hugely stifled I was eating for fuel not for pleasure. Not great 😞 My wife was, in the meantime, picking around her Feijoada not enjoying it at all. My wife could not eat it and left well over 90 percent of the dish. Again, very much, not great. With a higher tolerance to salt, I tried my wife's dish and it was disgusting... Even for me. When we were asked how it was my wife told the server it was way too salty. The young girl server left and shortly afterwards an older lady appeared who said "Brazilian dishes are supposed to be salty". I understand that cuisine from other countries will often have different tastes, but I really struggle to believe that a whole country would spend time and effort combining beautiful ingredients such as smoked pork ribs, smoked pancetta, cured sausages and pork belly only to destroy the amazing flavours with a fistful of salt, not to mention the health issues Brazil must be facing with high blood pressure, heart disease and stoke if they are indeed eating this type of salty food every day! There is no need to add salt to smoked products, the smoking cures the meat without the need for salt and my wife's dish had two types of smoked meat. To say we were disappointed with the food is a major understatement. To say the response of the staff was acceptable would be dishonest. There was no offer to remove part of the cost of the uneaten dish from the bill and no apology for the dish. We paid our dues, left a tip appropriate for the service we had received and left to consume some drinks to wash away the unpleasant saltiness in our mouths. I would advise giving this one a miss if you like tasty food, great service and your taste buds.

Great seating next to a play area. My granddaughter loved the ship themed play area, and we all enjoyed the food. In our group we tried the Sweet Potato Quesadilla, the Caesar Salad - both the vegetarian and the meat option, the Brazilian Fish Stew and the children's Chicken Goujons and chips. The chips were perfect, and the dishes were all delicious. The portions were generous. The staff were very helpful, and we definitely intend to return!!

Been a few times for Sunday lunch. Warm welcome and efficient service. The beef, chicken and especially the pork have been very good. Lovely fresh veg and best roast potatoes in the area. I saw the reviews and was excited to try this.pub and I was also liking the menu with the slightly different menu.I did if they have a nice garden as it was a beautiful evening to which they said yes on the phone. Well, the garden was scruffy, unloved, dirty with old shabby tables. We ordered a few things and it was awful. The so called freshly baked bread was old and stale. The halloumi bits deep fried and greasy. Pulled pork ended up being fatty pork belly. So not sure where the reviews come from. Definitely wasted money that night.

Great pub and good food, we live down the road and it’s our local and we love it! Only criticism would be get rid of the play area and add more parking as it’s so dangerous the cars and pedestrians walking down such a busy road when the car park is full. Shop does great takeaway food and fab pastries but coffee is a little pricey.

I’ve just been to the Wheatsheaf for a birthday lunch and I cannot speak highly enough about this lovely pub. The food was super delicious, I had the Caribbean fish stew. Amazingly tasty, with haddock, king prawns and a lovely sauce. My husband had the all day breakfast which was equally delicious. Apparently the sausages were top notch. I followed up with cheese and biscuits with port. The Stilton was just about the best I have ever had and the pickle had a delicious hint of chilli. The service was very fast and the waitress was very polite and attentive. The pub had a log fire and the decor was very unique and well thought out. Just an excellent experience. Thank you.

We just went this evening for Brazilian night where they offer a larger range of Brazilian cuisine. I felt like I was eating a meal straight from my grandmother's kitchen. I forgot my packed lunch today and so visited Panino in Roffey as I was working across the road. All I can really say is "Wow"! What a great find. I was greated with a lovely welcome and the cafe atmosphere and decor absolutely lovely. The lunch was superb. Everything very fresh and beautifully presented. Thank you and very well done.

The cafe and shop is fantastic - always welcoming and friendly. We get our coffee beans from here and it is delicious. They also have an awesome range of local gins.
