The best restaurants in Havant South East

half my order was missing and what was there was cold .

Usually a really good meal from them, but tonight the mushroom curry and chips, was way below standard. The chips where so stale, dry and hard, they had been left for a time and then reheated but not in a fryer more like microwave had to throw bag away. Mushrooms were on the slimey and tasteless. Best thing was the peas and onions with the sauce.

Based on one visit, we were impressed by the friendly and relaxed but efficient customer service, the happy atmosphere that grew as the restaurant filled with diners and the food was delicious. The chicken puree was simply the best that I have eaten and the main courses of chicken balti shobuzi and seafood surprise were most enjoyable, with sag aloo, pilau rice and a very plush peshwari naan. I would happily make the 35 minute journey to eat here again.

Very greasey/ watery I ordered a vindaloo but was that hot atttall, burnt bits in rice and vindaloo dish, nan bread very poor quality. Save you money give this place a miss.

We visited The Ferryboat after our Father Christmas experience down the road from there. We had a table of 6 adults and 7 children. All of us loved every bit of our meal, in fact it was delicious. The staff were fantastic, especially Ken who made sure our order was correct and he was great with the kids. My parents are moving to Hayling Island in the New Year and we have bought them vouchers to celebrate their move with a delicious meal here. Lisa & Edwina made these prior to our visit so they were ready for us. Everyone is so helpful and friendly, food is delicious and location is beautiful, we will be back very soon :)

I have been ordering from here for years and years now, and i got my usual the other day (xl doner and kofte) and the portion size was about half of what it used to be, definitely not worthy of being called an extra large! I complained about it on the night and was ignored. I then ordered the same again in case it was just a one time mistake but portions were small again.
