Papa John's Pizza in Havant

Recently moved to the area and thought I would try out the local papa johns and I was not disappointed, came on a lunchtime and service was very efficient with a good range of deals at different price points. Pizza was fresh and delicious which was cooked well. Overall good place to come if you want some quick and good food.

Waited over an hour. Virtually cold and over cooked. Wont be ordering again

No longer delivers in our area. We’re like 10mins drive away. Ridiculous

Awful experience. Had pizzas from here before never a problem. This time the delivery driver - Uber could not find our house - it's not a difficult house to find. I called the shop, to be told that it was my fault for not responding to the texts, dreadful customer service, very rude, they eventually agreed to remake our order and then hung up. Waited ages for it to be delivered, tracked the driver who finally got to our street, but at the wrong end after several texts to him and calling he finally noticed my husband in the toad waving at him. He than argued about the location of our house. The food was luke warm and suspect the original order and not freshness. Never again will I order from this establishment.

my order hasnt turned up rang papa johns no answer looked them up on Google and they are closed? just eat won't give me a refund its a fu**king joke £31 I want a REFUND

Food left on doorstep outside and delivery driver didn't ring bell or knock so only found because delivery late and we looked outside to see if driver lost! Food all cold sadly. Not usually an issue with Papa John's but didn't meet expectations

Unfortunately, the pizza arrived lukewarm. The cake was of very poor quality and there was a very high probability that as a result I had a severe stomach upset throughout the evening and night. It was the first time I ordered from this pizzeria and

my delivery was collected by the courier at approximately 9:50pm as i was told by the worker in the shop when my order was estimated for 9:10pm. i did not receive my order and am not happy with the courier and service

Ordered pizza for delivery, waited over an hour for it to arrive to be told by the delivery driver that they will no longer be delivering to our area because of the inconvenience - when delivery is still an option for our postcode online.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. We are regular customers as 80% of the time the food is great however the other 20% of the time it is awful, food coming with wrong toppings, dry with no sauce on. called up about wrong toppings on pizza to be given 2 free pizzas for another time. Upon calling to order these 2 free pizzas we were told to call back in 15 minutes as the manager was out on delivery which we did to be told the same thing again, this happened 4 times over the next hour. When calling up the 4th time we were told the manager had gone home so we could not get the pizzas and then hung up on.

Not had papa johns in a few years and it was just as good as I remember

Tastes awful, stinks of burnt plastic. Called restaurant who told me to contact just eat who tell me to call the restaurant- won’t ever use them again- if we ate this , we would end up in hospital- it’s disgusting.

The food was good, but the order wasn't right. First of all online ordering indicates you can order upto 23.40, but when they delivered, they said they close at 23.00! We ordered a large bottle of Pepsi max and were given Pepsi. We ordered a vegetarian pizza with a stuffed cheese crust, but they put pepperoni on it. Plus they had the audacity to charge 10p for a bag, and it didn't even come in a bag. Don't order from them, they are far too expensive and couldn't even get the order right. I won't be ordering from them again, just go somewhere else.

This restaurant is happy to send out unsafe food. Ordered a pizza through Uber, after 50 mins since ordering, 2 time delays and the 1st driver declined to deliver. Called the restaurant to ask about the pizza who said its been ready for 45 mins and they would not make a new one! The pizza arrived with a 2nd driver, 1 hour 10 mins after the pizza was ready. We temp checked it and it was 38.7C immediately after opening from the drivers hand, delivery food should be delivered at 63C or above! Shame on Papa John's... Will be calling food standards on Monday.

Pizza was underooked, sides were small and lacking in value. Overall I think you should run for the hills of dominoes

Underooked pizza, no herbs, impossible to get a refund even after sending evidence of unedible food. Both the store and customer service offices were both unhelpfup even after sending in proof. Avoid Papa John's

Driver was lovely and polite but 2 items were missing from our order, so he went back to get them but they didn’t have the flavour ice cream I had ordered and I didn’t want the flavour he brought instead. The papadias didn’t have much filling in them.

Food arrived relatively quick but the quality was shocking, pizza was over cooked and rubbery with a black sticky substance underneath which tasted disgusting. Sent pictures to complain but they will do nothing unless you take your delivered pizza back to them.

I've ordered alot of times from here and only ever had 1 problem that they quickly fixed. Currently in crutches so moving arond can be difficult. the delivery driver that i believe is from south africa was so help and polite. food was banging too.

Didnt wait more than 30 mins for my pizza ,Nice and hot. Everthing was there .I have ordered from them now 5 times and could write this review 5 times over as i`ve never had a problem ..Honestly very happy with this place Will say i have never ordered on a Friday or Saturday due to me thinking they would be very busy but that goes for all take away stuff .

Terrible service and cold food. It took an hour and a half to arrive, the online tracking updated to say it had been delivered 20 minutes before it actually arrived. When it was delivered, the driver took it to the wrong address and delivered it to a neighbour down the road initially. It was only because they were honest enough to bring the order back that we actually got it at all. The delivery driver was disinterested and dropped the drink on the floor as she was rushing so much. The food was stone cold and the potato tots tasted stale. Also all pizzas are advertised as coming with the garlic and herb dip but we had none with our order. Wish I had checked the reviews before ordering as many seem to say the similar things so next time will be going to the Dominos which is a few doors down.

Amazing pizza good quality lovely staff always on time.

Food was hot and tasty just didn't seem to be much chicken on it, a shame as it is sold as a chicken club pizza.

Waited 2 hours for pizza, phoned at 21:30 to be told that it was just about to leave and would be 25/30 mins. I cancelled the pizza as we had kids that needed go to bed and couldn't start eating at 22.00. Didn't even get an apology.

Waited 2hrs and still no pizza 😡...no mention at the time of ordering there was delay due to drivers / fuel issues. We received no phone call or text to notify us of the severe delay. After two phone calls pizza still had not been cooked at 9.30pm as no drivers. Shocking experience. Whilst I understand about the fuel crisis this doesn't excuse poor service and lack of customer care.

They said they knocked, they also said it was delivered It's been 2 hours no phonecall No text to say its on its way The manager told me that the driver dosent make mistakes and that we have to accept 2 hour old food that they marked as delivered that wasn't, we were told that its our fault for giving the wrong address when the order number has our house address on it, why was no contact made ? How can they tell me its my falt

We have a camera on our front door. The driver never came. The store manager says they did and that they have no reason to lie, mistakes happen , maybe they went to the wrong door. I was called a lier, even after saying that mistakes can happen. He bet me money that his drivers never make mistakes! Ended the phonecall saying that the food was being re delivered , I call 1 h later ( now 3 hours after order time ) . To be told that the drivers would not deliver here as we were hostile on the phone, but who wouldn't be if they were called a lier after spending £25.00 on food you don't have and a camera pointing at a door that no one knocks on.

Food was supposedly attempted delivered to my address. Ring doorbell shows it didn’t happen. Rang the branch he said his drivers don’t make mistakes and it was our fault. Refused to recook fresh and deliver. Absolutely shocking customer service from their so called manager

Missing and late orders. One driver had no fuel and decided to get fuel on the way so our food was late and cold. Missing items in almost all orders and today we also had items we did not order. When we questioned the missing items today we were just told they were there by the driver. It’s also gross to put the dips inside the box touching or on top of the food!

Refused to refund me for the pizza they didn’t deliver

Very disappointed in today’s service I ordered my meal with friends at 19:30 and friends have left only 2 minutes ago at 22:14 the pizza arrives.

Ordered and paid. It took 1 hour and 55 minutes to arrive. Food was stone cold. The delivery driver wasn't interested when I complained. Rang the store it was closed. Am very annoyed . What a waste of money

Can't give a review no delivery almost an hour after estimated delivery time. Rang twice and told it was out for delivery twice! Will not use them again service is diabolical. Can't comment on quality of food as it has not arrived! Got the manager on third call and he spoke to driver who said he had delivered it! To where only he knows?? Manager is making another one and sending that out now...wonder when or where that one will go. It arrived this time so eventually had my meal at 8.30 pm. Pizza lovely but needs work on delivery drivers and customer service.

At 30 mins late we called the restaurant who stated they had not received our order from Just Eat. They advised us to contact Just Eat. That is easier said than done to actually talk to someone. We sent a message and a while later heard back from the actual restaurant stating they’ve just received our order. Unfortunately my wife took her insulin based on the initial arrival time and the delay caused concern as well as ruining our evening. I don’t blame the local restaurant if they didn’t receive our order but it’s a very, very poor show from just (wish you could) eat.

We ordered 1 large pizza and 2 garlic cheese pizzas. If we collected it would have been ready in 15 mins. We had it delivered and it took over an hour. When it arrived it was barely warm. Reading the return policy it states that only a replacement will be sent, no cash alternatives. On this basis I do not wish to wait another hour for another cold pizza to arrive so I have placed it in my own oven to heat up. I'm disappointed and will not be booking a delivery again. On the plus side, when it came out my oven the pizza actually tasted ok so it gets 2 stars.

After a long day it was great to relax with Hot food that arrived on time and very tasty.

The order was wrong, it was supposed to be one all the meats pizza and one pepperoni and sausage and you sent two pepperoni and sausage pizzas

We love the pizza from Papa John’s. Unfortunately this time it was 10 minutes late and cold by the time we received it. We will order from them again - hopefully this was a blip on a busy Saturday evening

Great value for the 22 quid combo deal. Good thin crust pizza and the wings were spot on. Also they called to remind me that the order is done.

Hot food. Grandchildren enjoyed their treat for lunch. Delivered really quickly. The warm cookies were delicious too.

An hour and 30 minutes late. We have called twice. Once after half an hour to be told it was half an hour away. And then 45 minutes later we called again to be told it was 5-10 mins away. Now it is 20 minutes later and it still isn’t here. The reason for the lateness was originally blamed on ‘the system’ but to be continually told it is almost here when it is not is unacceptable.

First time ordering and was very pleased.. ordered the cinnamon bites and bacon sticks.. was very nice
