The best restaurants in Hastings South East

Wouldn't let my heavily pregnant wife use the toilet as they're for "customers only". Scum of the earth.

The service was good but my drinks have gone up 5 pounds in a week last sat oct 11 th 2020 paid 18 pounds for wine a lot of money but accepted this week 23 pounds for same house wine .Food ok but when bill comes to over 100 pounds I expect value not to be ripped off .Staff lovely but value for money nil.Very disappointed as been going there for a long time and had hoped loyalty would be valued .Food tasty but overpriced for what you get. Very nice meal here for the works do. Staff were amazing, getting us everything needed including a broken down bill. Shall return, with my wife, not the work crew, they can pay for their own nights out! 😁

New cafe just opened. Lovely coffee and friendly staff. Watch the world go by and sit outside. Take a USB cable if you want to charge your phone. Most tables have power plugs and USB power. Free Wi-fi

despite always going to the neighbouring housing estate first, before realising I'm actually in the block of flats next door. the cod n chips were quite delicious. the savaloys, and beef n onion pie were also nice

The Prince Albert was a Shepherd Neame pub for years, but is now is a genuine free house, selling up to 3 cask ales and 12 craft beers and (mostly) premium lagers on keg. They take part every year in Hastings Tap Takeover, and regularly have their own tap takeovers, and an excellent Oktoberfest every year too. The food always looks enticing, but I live too close by to not feel right eating there (this ain't Eastenders!), but they have specialist food too, for example, specifically for Oktoberfest, you can guess what type of food then. On my last visit I enjoyed their Oktoberfest, including drinking British versions of German beer, but also the real thing, including 3 beers from Bavaria, Hacker-Pschorr's special seasonal 6.0% Oktoberfest Bier, Hofbrau Munchen's 6.3% Hofbrau Oktoberfestbier, and Flotzinger Brau's 5.8% Wies'n-Marzen, brewed specifically for the Rosenheim Autumn Festival. In addition, check with the Prince Albert's website if you would like to catch live music there, because they do have live music sessions. The pub opens at 16.00 during the week, and at 12.00 on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Pier was closed. Not sure if it was closed because of the bad weather or maybe end of summer season. If you're planning on a visit, I suggest you make enquiries. The White Rock Theatre and the adjacent White Rock Hotel are still open for business.

Haven’t been here for a while ! We only popped in for a drink but decided to have a bite to eat because the food looked so good and it didn’t disappoint, we shared pork belly served with a tasty sauce and had rosemary salted fries on the side , it was delicious ! This is a great place with lovely staff and a buzzing atmosphere 😊🤩🥰

Very busy and we were lucky to get a table, loved the schnitzel
