The best restaurants in Walmer Dover South East

Corner Café is my favourite place for lunch. Food always excellent, good choice on menu. Met every time by a friendly team. Love the way café is surrounded inside with ornaments and objects of all kind. Literally something for everyone’s taste. Love the way the owner knows and interact with his customers. Makes you feel special.

Fantastic and warm welcome, excellent service with incredible pizzas! Restaurant is literally in front section of a house lit up like a fairytale - cosy and intimate and served with big smiles.

Came in to buy a bacon roll. I was charged £3.50 for the smallest roll known to man and one extremely small piece of bacon which wasn’t even slightly crispy but seemed to take an age to cook. Really really disappointed. Weirdly I could have purchased a biggish pie for a pound. Bery very odd place. Wouldn’t recommend.

Hut 55, is nestled on the pebbles of Deal beach, that serves takeaway hot drinks and a great selection of cakes, sausage rolls, and other goodies. The café provides deck chairs on the beach with little coffee tables and a few books, allowing patrons to relax and watch the world go by. The staff are friendly and helpful. Additionally, there are nearby public toilets and on-street parking available.

Easily the best fish and chips ever!

Very tasty and fresh fish and chips ( made to order) . Nice kind staff. Clean and tidy. Nice big portions too. Would definitely go back if we lived closer.

Jane's Tea Rooms is so welcoming, friendly and a happy place to be in. Good, fresh food, hot or cold, very good bread and cakes.

The Stag. Walmer is a brilliant public house. So friendly and such a warming friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend this pub to anyone

Despite an error in the makeup of the order which was dealt with swiftly and pleasantly by both the blonde lady and the owner when we got the order home the food was excellent. Well cooked excellent quality and lots of it . The spice level was excellent and each dish had just the right amount of heat . Good value for money and our go to in deal and Walmer.

Was really looking forward to a first class meal at the stag. Unfortunately from the start things didn't go well. Dirty sticky wine glass stem. 2nd. my wife's souffle contained large fish bones. Waitress took it away after we complained. It was the last so couldn't be replaced,but we were still charged... My fish pie looked very good,but again was let down due to there being very little fish in it and I mean little.... I'm sorry I'm not a winger, indeed this is the 1st time I've been compelled to write such a review. Yes I could of given it all back. But we just wanted to leave.... Andy Smith. Newport. Shropshire...
