We decided to go for Sunday lunch. We took our dog with us and the Bell inn staff were very accommodating. We took the dogs bowl with us and they made up a special lunch for her The food was excellent & plentiful. So was the dogs Dinner😁. We will definitely be back. Also try the Squid, it is lovely.

Outstandingly good food. Have now been approaching a dozen times and every single meal has been brilliant. SO good. Best Indian food I have had anywhere in the UK.

This restaurant never fails to impress us with outstanding personal service (Thank you AJ) and delicious food. Always very well presented in a unique and historical surroundings. We really enjoyed this evening and of course will be back in the future.

Quaint little tea room, family owned, a bit tightly packed round you, but great value for money and everything with cheerful service. It is amazing what they can produce from their tiny kitchen. You need to be lucky with parking or walk from the big car park a few hundred yards away. Worth it to stare into the overpriced antique shops on the way! Steps up to get in.

Went as a party of 6 for my dads birthday. The Roasts were absolutely gorgeous - everything was done with care. And the puddings were delicious. What made our visit extra special was our lovely server - didn’t catch a name but I’m pretty sure she had red hair. Noticed it was my dads birthday and I’m guessing managed to get the chef to do a plate with some yummy fudge and a little candle. She really went the extra bit further, she didn’t have to and it was so kind of her and the kitchen. Every member of the team we came across were a pleasure. You have wonderful staff and a beautiful pub. Thank you so much!

Really great fine dining, delicious food, imaginative menu and all wrapped up with top service and relaxing ambience. Will be going again.

We stopped in before a dog walk and received a very warm welcome. The pub is stylish and cosy. We ordered muscles to share, huge portion very tasty. Followed up with salmon for me and ham egg and chips for my friend equally delicious Would highly recommend.

I last visited in September 2019 with my steam engine before it closed in 2020. I have looked on with interest at the total restoration of the the buildings over the recent couple of years. Finally visited again today and was astounded by the very high standard of the interior, almost unrecognisable from before. The food is sublime, of high quality and fairly priced. Staff were very welcoming. I can thoroughly recommend

Avoided The Welldiggers Arms for a few years as became rundown & very mediocre but REALLY pleased we went last night to discover new owners with excellent approach to hospitality. Warm welcome, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food & proper cloth napkins 👍. Fabulous thank you.

Best burger in the area by far as well as lovely other dishes. Staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly, can’t fault.

Proper British roast! Lovely staff and an open fire, bliss. Really good selection of beers, too. Right beside the beautiful park.

Bureaucratic staff with rules about everything restricting enjoyment. Cafe miles away at your inconvenience and shop highly convenient, hmm I wonder why?!!! Basic, tasteless, cakes and biscuits all frozen then re-heated, why pay stupid prices for rubbish food? It's a money spinner for NT who've clearly lost their way when it comes to any kind of customer service and the parasitic family who still live in/exploit the masses. Giv it a miss..
