The best restaurants in Cherwell South East

The almond croissant was lovely. However, they served me a large coffee in a broken coffee cup which spilt all of me in my car. I then went to Costa and they laughed at me. Proper embarrassed.

Visited with my daughter and dog today for a light lunch after shopping at Bicester village. We had a wonderful friendly welcome to the pub and were able to choose where we sat. Food and drink service was quick and the food was hot and tasty - the lunch menu of a wrap, fries and a drink was well priced. Service was excellent and friendly. On top of all this the pub was really dog friendly with a “dog menu” with chicken breast, sausages and burger bites all v reasonably priced. My dog went for the chicken breast and she loved it! Would definitely return again when in the area. So nice to feel so welcome

Amazing portion sizes and good value, would recommend the set menu :) affordable The black bean beef was great and the meat was cooked just right and the teriyaki chicken was very crispy! Overall they were generous with the portions and quality of the food! Which is hard to see in this day and age

Careless staff, no place to eat and dirty equipments the chicken tasted so weird am sure the oil they used to cook my chicken was burnt. Worst kfc everrr. Never again

Well you leave a note for restaurant to say NO ketchup just normal mayo and they do not read it. There is no option for normal mayo. Am allergic to celery which is in ketchup. Normally they get it correct

This is the best chinese by far .... Beautiful fresh food and lovely people 💕 always fresh and tasty I would highly recommend them for dinner.

I went in at exactly 4:30 pm to have a cup of tea and a scone. When placing my order, I was told that they were closing in 30 minutes, so my tea would be in a takeaway.cup. I assume this was so the staff member didn't have any washing up to do at the end of their shift... despite the fact my scone needed to go on a plate. I was then presented with a scone on a plate, a takeaway tea, milk in a small jug (more washing up!) ... so I got my own tray to carry my stuff. After then asking for butter...and a knife ... I sat down, to find the butter frozen and as it defrosted pools.of water formed which I poured out onto the tray to avoid spreading it.on my scone. My tea could have easily.gone in a pot without interfering with cafe closure - the takeaway cup was unnecessary and ruined.my afternoon break

Esta es mi cafetería local y paso horas aquí, pero el personal siempre ha sido un éxito o un fracaso hasta que recientemente hay una joven encantadora que se ha unido. Ella es excelente. Servicio al cliente increíble, siempre sonriendo y preguntando cómo estoy, etc. Ha hecho que el ambiente allí sea mucho más agradable, ya que ella siempre sonríe y hace una gran diferencia. Bien hecho, jovencita.

I found Knife and Fork bakery after being diagnosed as nearly coeliac to gluten, following the birth of my daughter. I found it a huge adjustment and I couldn’t find any gluten free breads that I liked, until I found this one. I absolutely adore it and I eat it practically everyday. My favourites are the farmhouse sliced sourdough and the cinnamon and date loafs - both of which are constant additions to our food shops. We have also recently tried the brownie mix which went down a treat. I love that I can now enjoy having a slice of toast again, and actually feel like I’m eating proper toast! Thank you.

Member of staff yesterday was serving but full of cold nd wiping nose on back of his hand whilst working the till; I really should’ve walked away without food and drinks but had already paid. He should’ve sent himself home if there’s no manager on site to do that! Disappointed and disgusted 🤢

I would rate 0 if I could. This should not be called a hotel. It is a bed and breakfast without the breakfast. You enter the 'hotel' via a side entrance, which looks vauguely like the pictures. The reception is old, run down and dark, and is not included in the pictures. The property has had a change of ownership - and as of 2023 stopped selling hot food. Could not accommodate a cot bed despite me paying for a room with a cot bed. And in addition to this the customer service is poor. - we refused to stay based on the above and the owner refused a refund. We left and booked holiday inn which is ever so slightly more but far superior. I will be contacting the bank and consumer affairs.

Clearly says add cutlery but they didn't . Nor the double meat Ordered a second time and they did it again. So this place has now lost me as a regular roder
