Damn fine supermarket, with the added feature of a real life water adventure outside every time we get more that 2cm rain in 24hours. Thrill to see boy racers with lowered suspension get their feet wet, shriek to see shiny 4WD vehicles get slightly grubby, laugh as electric vehicles stop dead as their batteries get shorted out. Truly exiting fun for all the family.

Ah, Tesco — the magical place where I go in for a loaf of bread and leave with a garden gnome, 14 cans of soup I didn’t need, and a vague sense of financial regret. First off, let's talk about the aisles. They're like a treasure hunt designed by someone who enjoys a challenge. Need milk? Sure, just walk past the cereal, through the pet food section, dodge a mountain of Pringles, and there it is—right next to the washing powder, because why not? The staff? Absolute legends. Especially the self-checkout machines. Those things are divas. "Unexpected item in the bagging area!" Really, Tesco? It's my own bag. But shout out to the human staff who swoop in like heroes every time I accidentally trigger a supermarket meltdown by trying to scan bananas. Tesco’s bakery is top-tier, but I swear, the smell of freshly baked cookies is part of their business model to trap you. You walk in thinking, "I'll just get a salad," and next thing you know, you're walking out with a six-pack of doughnuts and zero dignity. Prices are mostly good, especially during those legendary "Clubcard Prices" moments. It’s like playing the lottery, but with pasta sauce. Overall, Tesco is a wild ride. Come for the deals, stay for the chaos, and leave with at least three things you didn’t know you needed. Would recommend, just don’t expect to stick to your shopping list.

I'm not sure what the difference is between "assisted" self-checkout and the regular kind, but it *did* have a moving belt to put the groceries on, and a larger than usual place to bag your groceries. Those made it much easier and less of a balancing act when you have a bunch of stuff. Store was clean and had wide aisles. Lots of selection, and I didn't see anything out of stock or out of place.

It's a big tesco and definitely has a better frozen selection than it's competitor sainsburys. Tesco own Mediterranean vegetable pizza is probably the best frozen pizza I have ever had. It's only £1.65 too. I used to always shop here after midnight during the weekdays when it was empty. I did this for years before the covid lockdowns happened. With lockdowns they stopped being open 24 hours a day which basically made me stop shopping there. It's extremely rare I will come here these days. It's still a good shop but it's just too hectic for people like me in daytime hours. I like it empty at the early hours

Like all supermarkets in the UK, there really has to be something outstanding about them now too earn a four or five star rating. There is nothing particularly spectacular about this branch of Tesco, but you will find everything you need here. Sadly, there is no delicatessen or fresh fish/meat counter. I think this is a real loss and Therefore I would generally choose other supermarkets that have this offering. We found the carpark to be particularly badly lit, which might be a concern for those who are partially cited or prefer better illuminated parking.

The constant picking of delivery orders during peak shopping hours is making this place a nightmare for those of us who use it for our regular shop. The huge picking trolleys block aisles and many of the staff doing the picking push in front of other shoppers, barging them aside and taking all the products (especially things like eggs and fresh fruit) before others can get at them. It makes it an increasingly unwelcome and frustrating place to shop.

After a few minutes another member of staff came and take our order, a jacket potato with beans and a breakfast with two teas £10.70 . First impressions were that the cafe was a bit of an afterthought for this store - at the Tesco stores local to us the cafes are close to the entrance with large windows, bright and airy, whereas Banbury's cafe is tucked away at the back of the first floor and seems a little dingy. The staff were friendly, the £3 kids meal deal is good value and it was fine for what we expected - standard cafe food, so in the big picture of food 3/5 is about fair. It was either Tesco or McDonald's, which would also get 3/5 most of the time! We were stopping in Banbury traveling north and we did notice that getting in and out of the retail park was manic - didn't realise it was such a busy place!

I went to the member of staff on check out, and asked her why i cant do my shopping on the upper level. She replied that as there is no one on the tills upstairs untill 7am, there is no shopping alowed on that level. I made the observation around the store, that there was tesco staff everywhere packing shelves etc, surely they could train one of these to operate the tills upstairs , thus opening up the top level of the store. After this member of staff said it is always like that, she said she would chapperone me upstairs so i could go and buy a DVD, this we did. When we got upstairs i was antisipating a bit of a lonely shop, however upstairs there was many more staff restocking etc!! Why couldnt one of them have been put on the till??!! Well, I never thought I would write a review on a Tesco cafe, but here goes.I have breakfast here frequently, say ten times a year. It is what a Tesco cafe should be but always dependable at that level. They are friendly and willing to help, the fried eggs are done properly so the yolk is runny but the white fully cooked (well, that's how I like them), the sausages are bargain-basement but fine. Rest of the fare is standard. They will do a sausage and egg roll for you which is not quite on the menu.Okay, it's a Tesco cafe but it is a pleasant place to eat before you go shopping. I have never eaten other than breakfast so cannot comment further but I would be happy to have lunch here if the breakfast is anything to go by. I complained about the eggs once and my complaint was dealt with quickly and efficently. It is a good place to eat.Toilets are spacious and clean. You get Clubcard points too!

Stopped for a snack before doing the shopping. It was great. Lovely sandwiches and coffee. Nice and clean. Service was good. Prices not to bad.

We were very warmly welcomed by Alan. And he explained how we could choose any table and them order. Went to bar to order and served by Bex, who was also very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the gammon steak, which was delicious. Would definitely come back.

I was looking for somewhere to have Sunday lunch and the pub is on my way home. The pub was clean, warm and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and looked after us vey well. The food was excellent value for money and of a very high standard, we all enjoyed our mains and a couple of us even forced down a pudding. I will definitely be going back.

Friday evening pizza night. The service was excellent, friendly and very efficient. Pizza and garlic bread fabulous and the beer, really well kept (as always). Definitely worth a visit to this busy local. A proper pub.
