Absolutely amazing food drink and service we stopped on route to the airport for a spot of lunch. We had a roast beef baguette and a fish finger sandwich, and wow, 10/10 to the chef and the gentleman serving and running the bar. I would highly recommend this pub.

I bought my daughter here for her birthday. It was absolutely amazing, the food was the best I have had in years! I cannot recommend it enough, we had a variety of mains and each one was cooked to perfection! And really good value for money! The chef has undeniable skills and I cannot thank Sapphire enough for her amazing service from start to finish! The pub is cozy, while we were there the quiz night was happing and it was completely booked out, they were setting up the food for the customers playing the quiz, something we are going to come back and take part in!

Worst Chinese I’ve ever eaten tasteless and what’s with all the veg was like the left overs from a Sunday roast

Lovely, friendly staff who always try and accommodate specific requests. Food is prepared fresh and arrives quickly - we’ve been here a lot and also had a positive experience! Great for breakfasts but does t open until 9am so don’t arrive too early! Nice, uncomplicated menu with a friendly atmosphere - highly recommend!

Fish fillet is very delicious. The taste is not unpleasant at all. I recommend trying it. It comes with three sauces.

Visited on a Friday early evening. No one to serve, waited a while and no one came. Hotel reception saw us but just ignored us, would have said something normally but thought we would just leave. New modern sports style bar but pointless if no service

The home made cakes are gorgeous and the service is brilliant. They're so friendly and helpful as I'm disabled.

I go here a lot as I work nearby and I’ve never had a good experience. The baristas are extremely rude and very slow. There’s no point ordering via the app as it gets ignored and you have to re-order at the counter. If you try to pick up a mobile order, they ignore you. Worst of all - I order the same coffee religiously and have never paid the same price. The prices seem to increase weekly but the new prices are never reflected on the screens which I’m sure isn’t legal. Also no discount for gold members.

Nice a d cheap pub fantastic staff

This lovely pub has just enough space to squeeze in between the busy Banbury Road and Oxford canal. Inside it's warm and welcoming, with open fires and friendly staff. We had a delicious Sunday lunch. The food is delicious, very generously proportioned and excellent value. The carvery Sunday roast was terrific. It's also a lovely place from which to walk along the canal, up to Thrupp or back towards Oxford. Very highly recommended
