Rudest member of staff ever encountered in a coffee chain.

The hours are stated are incorrect/misleading. Not actually open 24 hours. Big signs up about it being open 24 hours. Actually closes 10:30 till 11.10. As I took this photo every business in the service station was closed including the ones mentioned in the sign.

Had great service this morning from Iman shes a real asset to your team deserves a bonus!

Today I been served at this Costa coffee shop by a very nice and friendly man, who's name I forgot to ask 🙁 I ordered my usual coffee with single shot of espresso . When I tried coffee it was still too strong for me. So I went back told him everything and he made me another one. I want to say BIG THANKS TO HIM 😊 again, I really enjoyed the second one!

Dirty, bin overflowing, no sugar, long queue, really slow staff and had to get another coffee made as the first tasted like just milk. Worst costa for me so far

I was served today by a staff member called April and I just wanted to say how pleasant and friendly she was. I only had a cup of tea but in those couple of minutes of interaction she made a great impression.

5 staff behind the counter, 3 people in the queue and 10 mins to get 2 coffees. The slowest Costa I've ever been to.

Freya and zack were great on the smaller Costa by KFC! Excellent service excellent coffee couldn’t fault them! Absolutely amazing!!! Great sense of humour!

There was 3 staff members on shift, only one doing any work. The 2 younger workers were too busy talking while people waited to be served. They managed to get my order wrong even though it was written on the receipt in front of them. It seemed too much trouble to do the job they were being paid to do. Won't be returning

BEST SERVICE IN UK. Great sense of humour in the staff linzi or Will (not sure) was amazing and chatted with me whole time, throwing 10/10 jokes, honestly the next Ben shapiro. I expressed concern over one of the tables and Siva the manager came out cleaned it for me and apologised I stayed for 30 minutes on the table and was made to feel really comfortable.

Waiting time to place an order is 25 minutes. At the checkout you find out that you can only have a small iced cappuccino. There is no Blueberry Frappe (this is the second time it has happened here that they have no balls). It's a disaster, I don't recommend it

Pleasant, albeit numbed, staff. Reasonable coffees. Disgustingly filthy seats.

1620hrs, 10 Jun 23 I just had a Blueberry Bubble Frappe, did not have the appropriate straw to sip the bubble. The bubble went to waste and the paper straw gets soaked and unusable really fast.

Amazing staff. Really really helpful and chatty. Couldn’t ask for better customer service . Service was quick and I was out (during rush hour ) within five minuets. Big thumps uk to the guys at costa

Visited the Oxford Services 3 times, no currant tea cakes available. Why when these items are on the menu, there are none in stock. When I asked the manager she said she doesn't order them as they are poor sellers.This has also happened on Strensham services on the m5. If they are on the menu your managers should have them in stock. Very annoyed, I look forward to a teacake and flat white on my long journeys across country. Ivor Read

Just the worst experience ever. 9.00 am Thursday 13 Oct. Just two staff working slowly and getting orders wrong - they had three attempts to get my simple order ready. Never again…

Never would I ever think I’d see a time I’d see a time I’d write a poor review about costa. Went to the service station after we passed 2 because they only had a Starbucks. Absolutely appalling service. We went for our usual salted caramel frappe with coffee and cream. The second my partner opened her mouth and said salted she was interrupted and said “it’s now unavailable” rude as anything. No sorry we don’t have that or we have ran out or anything of the sort. They had gone out of their way to put unavailable stickers on what they didn’t have. She was sighing as we hurried to change our order and we went with a coffee frappe I asked if they had any regular caramel sauce or anything as we didn’t know if they weren’t doing it anymore or if they had ran out she laughed in my face and said “no if we had it it would be available but it’s not” she scoffed to which I replied okay there is no need to scoff we will just take 2 medium coffee frappes with cream. She didn’t say anything rolled her eyes and told us it was £10.20. I said I had a costa card and she just looked at me I scanned it and paid. She proceeded to make our drinks with no communication to any customers except to sigh roll her eyes at us and look like she didn’t want to be there. Also left to go get a lid from the back but didn’t say anything so we were confused. She then came back and handed us our drinks without a word. So disappointed as it really is our go to stop we have costa at least 3/4 times a week more if we are travelling like today. Also her name is Cristina and it was around 15:40 on Wednesday 12th October.

Had a kind cashier, Karl, who gave us the best service. We had brought in 2 reusable cups and he advised us of the size he could fill them to, and did not charge us more than he needed to. Great service while we were having a long journey down.

Abysmal, possibly the very worst Costa i have ever been to. Filthy, poorly stocked, and rude staff . . . Were to start, the incredibly slow service or the lack of any cakes, sandwiches, bread, croissants or even apparently plates or cups!!! Apart from take away cups. I even heard a member of staff say they were going to have to close because they were running out of cups, surely sombody could go in the back and wash up, its not like they were being effective at serving, the queue was ridiculous and the complaints about slow and rude service and incorrect orders were coming at them from all angles it was a total shambles. It wasnt like the services themselves were busy but somehow the 5 people working couldnt organise themselves, while the 1 person at Pret was doing perfectly well, we wished we had gone there, as for the coffee, worst Costa i have had, not a clue how to make a Latte or Cappuccino, a complaint i have seen written here by others . . . As for the dirt, there were visible hand prints in the dust on the ledges, clearly itbhadnt been cleaned in a long while, there was ingrained dirt around the edges of the floors and benches and the seats were disgusting, again its not a theme continued throughout the rest of the services they were actually very clean, it was isolated to Costa, you could even see in the dust where the service station cleaners had cleaned the bit they were responsible for and then beyond that the dust in Costa. Avoid at all costs.

Standard Costa, but poor service, probably due to every other outlet shutting for the night - it wasn’t that late!

It was very busy today, a very long queue right out of Costa. The queue in a very large part was caused by the management of the Costa. Witnessed by myself and family, there was 2 females preparing the orders (working their butts off)and 1 young male busy 'filling up', dealing with a bin and whatever else, who knows?? All whilst he had a queue filing out the premises, manager was around, saw the queue and did nothing. He chose not to instruct his member of staff to man the till and deal with the queue, that's unacceptable and poor management. My whole experience of a queue in Costa probably lasted 20 mins, of which we were stood around waiting at the front of the queue for half that. Before 9.30 and you can't get a sausage bap, poor management, no white bread for toast before 9.30, poor management. This is by far the worst Costa I've visited in all my time (years) of being a Costa customer, I couldn't bring myself to recommend this one.

15th July 2022 drove to this place specially to have cappuccino as I generally work from home. A much needed coffee after a long busy week. But unfortunately all I got is a hot milk with too strong coffee and froth that selected in second. I Asked for more milk to make it mild, the staff didn't like me, they poured entire tub into my coffee to make it mild. I took it and sat for a while but complaint later and requested a flat white in a replacement. I got the flat white but a small cup although my first order was a large cappuccino. Well the flat white was good. If you are here for a good cappuccino then please avoid. May be Starbuck is better. When u really want a good coffee and you get a bad one your whole day is ruined, mine is 😑

Awesome team with 5 star service! I had a Free Frappe reward loaded on the app and they mixed me a blend of coffee and chocolate fudge. Tasted amazing. Thanks guys 👏🏻👍🏻

Decent coffee, but many weren't prepared to wait....took ages to get served, even though queue wasn't long.

Over six pounds for two small cups of coffee with grunting service. Requested filter coffee for assistant to ask "wots that?" When the filter machine is in plain view behind him. The tables and floor are dirty with noone clearing away trays. Utterly disgusting and not value for money. Being held ransom on a motorway service station with high prices is expected but this falls way short of the standard Costa experiences I have come to expect

Visited Costa at the Moto cherwell Valley Services today 20 Aug 21 for a drink but was disgusted from first sight of the place. You would think that cleanliness and hygiene would be a priority especially during the COVID period but NO. Every table was occupied with piles of dirty used trays, cups etc etc, even the trolley and bins were filled, floor looked like it haven't been swept for days. Am sure between the 4 men behind the counter, at least one could of been cleaning up. Was not that busy at all so absolutely no excuse.

Pretty quick service and nice tasty coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful.

19.05.2001 4:30 am We all know night shifts are very uncomfortable whoever working in customer services sometimes requires a non hostile attitude and creepy face from your employee(heaven forbidden not because English it wasn't my 1st language I hope so)and also they MUST learn to ask customers if they need any sugar/tshue.I felt completely uncomfortable I felt like I begging with my own money to have a caffe. I won't use your place again unless you training your employee how to behave towards customers.

Their products are pretty good and affordable. Also the staff is very friendly. Would obviously recommend to anyone who needs a break from driving.🤙

Fantastic experience at the drive through earlier this evening. Polite gentlemen serving corrected a minor miscommunication regarding pricing and went out of his way to ensure customer satisfaction with a smile. Well done Sir

On my most recent visit no seating available during lockdown, so takeaway only. Coffee was good, service was quick, although the staff were a bit touchy about everyone keeping their distance. Understandlby so. Overall, a good experience, I'd go back.

Staff friendly, drinks taste great but presentation poor... cream never looks like the poster and my coffee milk pattern was a mess. Also NO gingerbread men left for the Christmas drinks!

If you like weak coffee this is the place for you. Just paid £3.29 for the weakest flat white basically hot milk with a vague coffee taste to it

A little expensive, but basic menu. At least we could ditch our last Canadian dollars & left over change. Sadly this was our last restaurant in Canada before going home. Not the best way to remember our great time in Canada ..

Always like to stop for a coffee but I like to sit outside when the sun is shinning or when it is a lovely day but we have to keep our coats on

We were sternly told to wait 10 mins while the staff changed shifts; that staff member then walked out bag and coat in hand with 7 people queueing and waiting. Then when someone finally came out from the back after a couple of customers shouted through the kitchen for someone, they barely had enough stock, and weren't able to serve quite a few hot drinks because of not having the ingredients. It's not their fault but overall the customer service was abysmal.

Service poor, had to repeat 3 times we wanted decaf. Cappuchino was worse weve ever had from Costa, we only drink Costa. Very disappointed

I still think it's the safest bet when it comes to coffee in the UK. The new machines are a bit overly technical, the old ones have something so cozy about them - well, time doesn't stand still. I still like the vanilla latte better than any Starbucks version.

A decent location at a busy motorway service station. Friendly staff. Decent enough coffee and a fair selection of sweet things to go with. Prices are a bit more than you would pay on your local high street, but you're paying for the convenience of not having to leave the motorway totally

Claims to be open 24 hours but isn't. Staff are lazy and unhelpful. Don't bother trying to get a coffee here after 10PM!

Generally good. There are 4 costa outlets, can get extremely busy. Usual costa.

Nice location - however staff looked like they didn't want to be there let Alone serve - and if course get my order right. It was only two drinks. However, as always the product is good, and I always say ambience is what YOU make it.

Really nice place & brilliant night staff! Not seen many costas open at sunday night on m40! But lucky to find this one here. This one is 24hr. Great job....

Coffee is beautiful here especially after a long drive have a go
