Pizza Express in Cherwell

We booked a children’s pizza party for our son’s 6th birthday and it was a great hit! Jack & the Team kept the children well engaged with a range of fun games, the staff attended to all our needs and made everyone feel very welcome and relaxed. Thank you all for making our sons day a special one. Keep up the good work!

This particular visit was a treat for my birthday with a friend. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by a lovely atmosphere and a friendly team member who seated us promptly. Our waitress was extremely patient with us as we kept having to ask for a moment longer to choose due to us chatting so much. Nothing was too much trouble and she always had a smile and was happy to answer our questions regarding the rewards I had to use. The food came swiftly and, as always, it was delicious. It's one of our favourite restaurants to eat at - it's cosy, the quality and variety of food is great and the staff are always so upbeat and friendly. Thank you!

Had a fantastic meal at Bicester Pizza Express. Love the ultra thin pizzas and packed with toppings. Food was hot and service and staff wonderful. Although too full after the pizza for dessert, they definitely looked tempting. Maybe next time.

Easy to order, great tasting pizza, piping hot, friendly delivery guy who delivered my order 7mins into the 30min time slot. This is the second time I have used Just Eat for Pizza Express and haven’t been disappointed.

Great meal and first class service.

We had such a great time at PizzaExpress Bicester! From the moment we arrived, we felt really looked after. The young server who looked after us was super attentive, warm, and made us feel really welcome. He checked in on us just the right amount to make sure we had everything we needed, but never too much, which was really appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious, as always. We also tried their “Get 2 pizzas, get 1 for £1” deal, which was fantastic value for money! The meal wasn’t too expensive, and everything came out fresh and perfectly cooked. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back soon! Highly recommend this location for a lovely meal out.

Completely wrong pizza delivered absolutely furious

Food was fresh and quick. Staff friendly. Just so noisy so don't go if looking for a quiet meal.

We visited Bicester market square pizza express as a party of 25 and jack and the rest of the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. All the food came out at the same time and the staff were so friendly and welcoming! We’ll definitely be back and appreciate the amazing service so much, thank you 🤩

I have eaten in this place many times. I work as a nanny. From the moment you come in the children are presented with crayons and colouring books. People help with high chairs they go above and beyond and so accommodating. The food is also amazing always hot and delicious. And if you have children they make extra effort to bring the food out quickly. I came in today with my nephew who has autism he finds it very challenging to eat in new places. The restaurant manager was amazing being patient,kind and caring helping us to help him make a choice with his food,to her we are very grateful because not all places are like this. You guys are so well educated and have amazing customer care skills. It meant everyone was happy and able to enjoy their meal. Also such good offers in the hollidays with kids eating free with a main adult paying. Thanks once again. We will be back for more yummy food xx

visited with my girlfriend, and we had absolutely fantastic meal out, the pizza was great, the service was amazing, it was great to see all the staff smiling, even with it being so busy! was a great experience for my first time visiting a pizza express! ive been missing out! cant wait to come back!

We went out as a family of 4 for my birthday. Service was OK. Unfortunately the food has gone downhill. I had 8 very small dough balls - about half the size they used to be. The margarita pizza had barely any cheese on it, base was soft and it was lukewarm. The dough sticks were smothered in pepper and rainbow slaw awash with dressing. Not enough to complain about but I won't be going back any time soon. Shame as we have had many good meals here.

Great food as always and all of the staff were amazing

Lasagna was more like a soup. No need to chew. Calzone was burnt to a crisp. Luckily carbon was no extra charge. The rainbow slaw we didn’t order or receive was an extra charge. To rectify and receive our £5.25 refund, we had to pay £50 (yes for two people) twice. All in all, don’t bother. Wish we’d got a kebab.

They know what they're doing with pizza.

Great food and service, but wasn’t overly happy with the tiny circle table myself and my girlfriend were sat at. Was a bit cramped once the food turned up! I ordered two Sides with my pizza and it just about fitted on my side of the table. Couldn’t fault the food though.

Whenever I come in to Pizza Express in Bicester, the staff are always friendly on arrival. On this particular occasion, they saw I had my young daughter with me and provided a high chair without me asking. The food is always great and the service is second to none.

We were visiting from Australia and popped in to Pizza EXpress Bicester late Sunday night at the end of a busy day! What a fabulous experience. The team were really friendly and the food was delicious. If you’re in the area make sure you spare a night for some great pizza and other delights 👍. Thanks guys

Fantastic food & lovely friendly staff. We ordered takeaway pizza through JustEat but had a problem with the delivery. Having contacted the restaurant directly they were so helpful and we were able to collect and enjoy our fantastic pizzas. Thank you! 10 out of 10. Highly recommended.

Very slow service and incorrect order

Great food from the restaurant, they even included free desert to make up for the slow delivery. Poor show from Just Eat being so late. They should not take the order if drivers aren’t available.

My family went to a meal this evening 4 adults a 7 year old that is a really fussy eater and my granddaughter who is only 1 . The staff were absolutely amazing Jorja was our waitress very polite at all times Sophie the manager was amazing at entertaining the little people . All the staff were so lovely . The food was fantastic and my 7 year old even ate , and was able to thank the chefs . We will be back soon

We booked a birthday party for 12 rambunctious 9 year olds on a Saturday morning. It was fabulous, the kids absolutely loved it - a massive shout out to Dom and Jack for their, kindness, patience and professionalism, the children had such a great time and the feedback from their parents has been amazing. I would highly recommend a kids birthday party at Pizza Express, first they played games and coloured pictures, the highlight was that they made their own pizza, while the pizzas were in the oven they had dough balls, followed by their pizzas then ice cream - everything was included in the price.

Literally just eaten here with my wife and son and must say it was exceptional. I had low ish expectations as the last visits to food places anywhere has been poor however this was exceptional. We were greeted by a man in a black shirt whose demeanour was friendly but professional and instantly made us feel at ease. We were then waited on by a young guy who was exceptional not just with service but the extra care to interact with my boy and make sure he was happy was above and beyond. The pizzas were all exceptional and above expectation. Never been before but will return regularly now

me and my cousin got here after shopping, we weren’t greeted at the door, instead the waitress stood around talking to her colleagues, so we sat ourselves, then got in trouble for sitting ourselves, then it took about 10 minutes for the chubby lady to even acknowledge we were ready, it then took over half an hour for our pasta to come out and during that half an hour the waitress didn’t once come see if we were ok or come and check on us instead she walked around joking with the other guests, i think it was blatant racism as we are both darker skinned. i am appalled at the service i received on 5th of march at 7pm

Excellent attentive service from fantastic guy.

Ordered twice. Pizza barely warm both times and the second time, the pizza had so much pepper (black pepper not the topping) sprinkled on it that we couldn’t eat it

We have just had my daughter’s birthday party here. Dominic was fantastic- nothing was too much trouble and he was fantastic with the children, kept them engaged and they all had a great time. I cannot recommend highly enough.

When we had children, we used to go a lot to Pizza Express but less so recently - so it was good to go again after we had been to the cinema. It was as good as ever. Good service, reliable and tasty pizzas and a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Want full refund for my food. Had to contact restaurant multiple times. Manager has proof of one failed collection 40 minutes after food cooked. Had to be remade. Poor service from you.

this is not just at this branch its the chain itself,,still the same lackluster pizza and flat mushy lasagna, pizza at pizzaexpress is awful its exactly how the pizza in the frozen isle in the supermarket tastes, like cardboard .. there are so many good wood fired pizza places i dont see why pizzaexpress exists , the lasagne is a bowl of snot no meat filling no crispy top, and a few millimeters deep and all very over priced,also the toilet here was disgusting very dirty, dirtier than a public toilet,

We’ve been four times to Bicester Pizza Express now. I wouldn’t normally go to a chain restaurant, but we discovered this one in November 23 when I came with some girlfriends from work for a birthday celebration and now love coming back as a family. The food is always great, fresh, hot and really tasty. It’s good value for money especially with your rewards on the App and the staff are wonderful and so helpful. We always have such a good experience here. Thank you!

We had an absolutely lovely meal on Saturday 16th December, the staff were so welcoming and friendly, food was fantastic and the waitress and chef even accommodated us when we asked for two dishes that used to be on the menu! Thank you all for a lovely meal 😀

My pizza was freezing cold and I can’t even cut it it’s that hard

The pizza was cold but also missing the black olives and with hardly any ham, bland as a result. Haloumi bites were nice

Food was freezing cold, there was barely any cheese on the pizzas and literally had a scrape of garlic butter in a tub for all the dough balls :(

Got up and left after 15 minutes. After begrudgingly being shown to a table that was the last interaction we had with the staff, they didn't even show any interest or ask us why we were leaving!

Our vegan pizzas were amazing as was our waitress Olivia! Only gripe was that the lady who seated us, took quite a while to acknowledge us. She wasn't friendly, however, that was just a small part of our experience and we'll definitely be back!

I recently ordered a take-away but unfortunately did not receive what I had paid for. Despite multiple attempts to contact the restaurant by phone, I couldn't reach them. Moreover, when I raised a complaint about the issue, I didn't receive any response. It's essential to exercise caution when ordering take-away deliveries to avoid potential financial losses.

Didn’t bring my drink and food was late and cold on arrival

Pizza was cold when it turned up and hadn’t been cut into slices properly. I ordered 1hour and 20 minutes before for a set time but it still arrived 15 mins later. Awful

Place was open but 'temporarily closed' not serving due to handover or something pathetic... should of updated google before we all made the effort to venture out. Two places in one day, both not serving. Poor from pizza express.

Great service and good management

We had dinner there with friends and it was delightful. Excellent service and management was really hands on.

Me and my family arrived at 7:55pm food got served at 8:55pm due to chef putting ham on my kids vegetarian pizza, and another staff telling me it got burnt so a new one got made. In the process, my pizza was kept warm and it had become crunchy. Poor service for a franchise that should know better. decisione sbagliata! Friday 29th September.

Food was delicious- they need to figure out how to separate the garlic butter from the hot food as it was just a hot oil mess and pizza was not cut properly but minor criticisms since food was delicious

Starters came burnt and pizzas weren’t cut we had to ask another server for a slicer. I was given the wrong pizza and made to feel like it was my fault for this mistake even though Ik I didn’t order a different pizza. Food was alright but you can tell the place is short staffed.

Niamh served us at Bicester with excellent attentive service and a great sense of humour. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. All staff were great- we were a family of 2 kid, 2 adults and would definitely recommend it.

Fabulous service from Dom! A lovely meal with 5 star service. Dom was very friendly and welcoming. He was very efficient and checked we were happy with our meals. There wasn’t any mango for the dessert so he suggested a strawberry creation that was delicious!! 5 stars for creativity 🙌🏻 please pass onto him our feedback, he is a credit to your restaurant and an example of great customer service. Kids pizza party! What a fantastic time, we had our little girl’s 4th party today and it was so good.The organisation was super easy and swift,then the actual party was brilliant (even with such a young crowd.) Dom was a hit host and really joined in with the children. Everyone loved it-would definitely recommend!

We were served by Sophie, she was brilliant, it was a busy evening in the restaurant but she was attentive and the food was delicious. I ordered an off menu pizza, they made it beautifully. The head chef is really excellent in this pizza express. Would highly recommend

Nice place, but a little different from other Pizza Expresses. More of a family-friendly atmosphere.

Clean tables but my chair still had the person before dinner on it but food was good and service was good.

My only complaint is that the cheesecake did not have any of the salted caramel sauce, but everything else was amazing, and it all arrived within 40 minutes.

Bicester venue never fails to satisfy. Fantastic food, lots of choice and recommendations. The staff are always accommodating with any requests. My husband loves super spicy so they are happy to bring chilli flakes and chilly oil. Sophie is always very helpful and friendly. We regularly visit because we know it will always be a happy visit.

The Manager here was an absolute star. Uber Eats failed to find us for delivery so I had to drive to the restaurant myself. They had re-made my pizzas for when I arrived and would not accept any payment. What a gesture of goodwill and kindness. Made me switch from unhappy to happy in an instant. I have never had such an awful welcoming and made to feel like such an inconvenience for having a pram. The waitress was so rude to the point where when we were asked to sit down we decided to walk out and not give our money to a restaurant that was so unwelcoming and rude.

We had a lovely meal last night, great food and great service. We were served by Dom who was an absolute star. He was unbelievably kind, had a good laugh and even gave us some very good recommendations! A great birthday meal and some true kindness shown. Best meal I’ve ever had at Pizza Express!
