Prezzo Bicester in Cherwell

We came in with a large group, food was fantastic and so was the service. Even though we were a large party we all got our food and drinks very promptly. Sean our server was brilliant and couldn't have been more helpful! We will definitely be back!

Went last night with some friends and was really impressed with everything. Served by a friendly chap called Sean, couldn’t be more helpful, a credit to the company. Our orders were taken, drinks arrived very quickly as did the food. The food was delicious, the 6 of us all really enjoyed what we had ordered. Based on last nights experience I would recommend giving this place a try,

Food was cold with only one person working the bar and serving avacado was hard and garlic bread was cold really a bad experience and not up to there usual standard really need a lot more staff also could smell sewage really disappointing visit this time

Had late lunch in here today, wasn't particularly busy, but service was really, really slow. Food was great, albeit expensive for what it is. Venue was dirty, felt a bit tired. Manager and staff all super polite, but woeful service really let it down. Wouldn’t return.

Great food, great prices and lovely staff.

I took my two sons here, who can be very particular about their pizzas, and we all had a fabulous meal. The youngest (and fussiest) said it was the best pizza he's ever had. Excellent service, great food and will absolutely be going back, highly recommended 👍

The place looks impressive when you walk in and the staff were wonderful, but the quality of the food was poor. I had a lasagna with a side of house fries and both portions were on the small side and bland overall. The fries especially were of laughable quality - they were absolutely tiny and not worth anywhere near the £4.50 they were priced at. Won’t be going back.

A lovely place to eat. The food is amazing, the staff are super friendly and helpful and the lay out means you are not squished in and too close to other diners.

Nice atmosphere, attentive staff but food bland and bit tasteless. Garlic and cheese bread with no great flavor. Mushroom pizza which didn't excite and salad with the harder bits of lettuce. Sticky toffee pud which was just a microwaved cheap tasting thing you'd get in the cheap aisle in a supermarket. Very disappointing, won't go back.

Delicious carbonara and lasagne. Great customer service Peter was friendly and proficient making us feel very welcome. Throughly recommend.

I brought my 11year old daughter to bicester prezzo tonight as a special birthday treat. As soon as I wheeled her in the door we were greeted by a very smiley friendly gentleman. He clocked my daughter in a wheelchair and immediately asked her where she would be happy sitting and if she wanted to stay in her chair or if she wished to sit in the booth, this made her feel very welcomed. We were then greeted by another manager (luke) who clocked it was her birthday (she was wearing a badge) he wished her a happy birthday and had a little laugh and a joke with her and immediately offered us both drinks. He was incredibly patient with her whilst she decided. Once we had our drinks, another friendly smiley manager came to our table asking if we were ready to order. My daughter asked if they had spaghetti meatballs on the menu, he politely said we do, on the kids menu but if you'd like an adult size we can of course do this for you too. So accommodating. I wasn't sure what I wanted between 3 dishes so asked the gentleman and he suggested the seabass, he wasn't wrong at all, it was delicious and spot on for what I wanted. Later when my daughters dessert came out, Luke snuck off to the bar and placed a candle in the pudding, without embarrassing her too much he came over with it discreetly and let her blow it out. She was over the moon with this and the attention and service she got. When we left she turned to me and said that's the best services she's ever had. This completely melted my heart, she was one very happy little lady when we left the restaurant and I owe this to the 3 amazing gentlemen who served us today. Thank you all very much for ending her evening on a high.

Very rude reception. The man came to us and sent us away even a table was available. Highly not recommended when service is such bad

Waited ten mins at the door before someone eventually came over and sat us down. Then waited twenty mins at the table no one came over, kids were hungry. Very poor service, felt like we were an inconvenience. We got up and left and went to McDonald's. Won't be setting foot in here again. I would have understood if they had said they were rushed off their feet but it wasn't even that busy. I can't even give a review for the food.

Booked 18th May 2024 for a party of 10 persons for our sons Charles 16th birthday with both sets of grandparents, great food, great service and a great evening had by all, as previous customers have already mentioned on here our Waiter “Luke” went above and beyond to ensure that it was a memorable evening for our birthday boy and really made it special for him, when bringing him his surprise Birthday Cake invited everyone to sing along with all our party, Luke is a credit to you, and great role model for any front of house staff to learn from, well done Prezzos! We all parked in Sainsburys car park and because we booked for 6/6.30pm the parking was free as all parking fees end at 7pm. If you want to book any earlier in the day just make sure that you don’t stay for more than 3 hours or you will receive a parking fine.👍🎂🌞👏🙌

We booked for a family meal, the service was awful , it was slow and clearly understaffed, both my starter and main were forgotten although the order read back to us, and was clearly rushed and couldn't enjoy it with the rest of my party. The manger was stressed and apologised but for the prices they charged not enough was done

the worst Italian food we've ever had.The king prawn pasta, hah, they were regular prawns. The chocolate cake didn't even taste like chocolate...disgusting. The parmesan cheese didn't look or taste like parmesan and the kalamari was bizarre. Service was good. The spaghetti bolanez tasted like it was out of a tin.

Luke was brilliant tonight, along with the rest of the staff ( which names i didn’t manage to catch). Food was amazing! will be coming back for sure!

We went to Prezzo during the school holidays with the kids free meals. The food was delicious and the service was great, the staff made a lot of effort to interact with our children and they really enjoyed it. Thank you.

We recently booked a Hen Do meal for 30 people, and we had the most wonderful time. The service could not have been more helpful and friendly; despite staff shortages we never felt that we had to wait too long to eat and Luke went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best time. All dietary requirements were met and a wonderful time was had by all. Luke Wolsey is a credit to the Prezzo brand and an all round wonderful person who deserves some proper recognition for his dedication to excellent customer service (even in trying times).

If you read the reviews then it’s possible you would not try this restaurant. My wife and I booked for Valentines evening. It was crammed on both floors. We were received by the manager who is a very polite personable man. He showed us to our table in a lovely corner with a great view of all the other diners. Our server was fast, polite and friendly. The drinks arrived super fast and our meal hot and delicious. Everyone seemed to be enjoying the evening. As we left the manager came to ask if all was well and shook us both by the hand. We had a wonderful few hours in a quite lovely atmosphere. Prezzo is situated next to the Vue Cinema which is very convenient. Our thanks to the duty manager and his staff.

We arrived just before 3pm to an empty restaurant - there was a male behind the bar in a tracksuit who came to us eventually and explained he was the head chef and the front of house staff were in a meeting He advised we could sit anywhere and gave us menus, he also asked if we wanted water and we were delivered a carafe of water that was sat on the bar along with at least another 8 filled carafes - not like it was going to be that busy to refill them - in fact it is quite disgusting Eventually after about ten minutes of not really knowing which menu we were allowed to chose from (as we had a prepaid voucher) the waiter appeared from his meeting and bought over a menu we had not seen at all Whilst we had been in the restaurant there was another member of staff sat behind us eating and he had his phone on quite loud We made our choices and ordered Food was good but all during the service the place had no atmosphere - the other member of staff still on his phone -the man that took our order was now sat at his computer (in our view) although occasionally checked up on us Then another member of staff engaged in conversation with the guy that took our order now both sat at the computer in deep conversation This site has an upstairs area which I would feel better for the computer and staff to sit when quiet - maybe just one person on hand downstairs ensuring that guests on site are not feeling - like we did - an inconvenience Finally when we wanted to pay our bill it took over 20 minutes as it seemed the gent had problems - ok he didn’t charge for our coffee but we were the only ones in the restaurant (until a lady and her daughter turned up !) Food ok Service needs some attention.

Food was shocking. Ran out of nearly every drink. Table of 12 people for our Christmas meal... considering the money we spent was absolutely awful, no excuses as we booked in November.

We had a lovely young waitress following a movie next door, and she was excellent, she made recommendations and got chatting with us - highly recommend.

A huge thank you to Prezzo Bicester, this evening we celebrated my grandads 87th birthday and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The waitress that served us was so lovely and engaging, and a special thanks to the manager for making my grandad feel really special. He took the time to personally wish my grandad a happy birthday and had a conversation with him, he very kindly took my grandads meal off of the bill which we were not expecting. My grandad was very touched by this and it has really made his birthday. Thank you so much for fabulous service and for your very kind gesture.

Came in on a quiet Wednesday and had a perfect dinner for the two of us, food came out quickly and efficiently and was served with smiles from our server Luke Luke was very friendly and chatty, offering his opinion on what to order and what would be best for us both. His service went above and beyond what is typically seen in most servers in the industry and would highly recommend him again

Our family meal was really wonderful because of the incredible waitress. I wish I knew her name, but I think perhaps she was Italian. There were seven of us, and we had a twelve year olds birthday. We were told they were understaffed when we arrived, but we felt very well looked after, indeed, despite all tables being occupied. We all agreed on how well she managed so many tables, keeping everyone happy. The food was really very good. Very hot and fast. We had the pumpkin ravioli, spinach ricotta canaloni, and a specialist burger not mentioned in the list below.

Lovely meal - great service from the wait staff and manager and a particular shout out to Tomas the chef who made my youngest son feel extra special by letting him see the kitchen and giving him a chefs hat. The food was excellent.

We were welcomed with a friendly smile as soon as we arrived. The atmosphere was relaxed with a handful of other diners present at the time. Andre looked after us very well and his recommendations of the Arancini & Gnocchi were excellent.

Hello, We arrived at Bicester village from London to do shopping with my wife and 3 year old kid, after a long day our son was very hungry and decided to go to a restaurant, so we choose prezzo restaurant, after waiting 5 min at the door, someone came to sit us down, after he asked us if we’ve been here before he repeated himself by raising his voice in a very arrogant way, than I asked him why is he being rude, he than said I’m not going to serve you, I said my child is hungry but he ignored us and left, It’s a shame as the restaurant had good reviews but the staff is absolutely horrible, I don’t know the name of the guy but this happened on the 08/10/2023 at 7:50pm

Came here a few weeks ago and it was a very alright experience. I’m not going to lie and say it was god awful or it was the best. It was only ok. Upon arrival, the interior is beautiful for a prezzo. Very impressive. Quick to be seated but took a while for someone to come over. After ordering food came out quickly which was nice. No one checked back though luckily everything was ok and no problems with my food. Took a while for my plate to be cleared but once it did it was taken away. No one came over with dessert menus. It was 15 minutes of just sitting and waiting and was impossible to get someone’s attention. The guy came over and was like “oh did you want desserts”. Opted for yes but was extortionate prices. Trying to order took ages but when I did order I was shocked to see the desserts came from the bar? Definitely odd. Was quick to pay and leave after that. The 2 guys working were following each other round and talking the whole time, honestly inseparable. Another thing, if you want to talk about me, to make it less obvious don’t point directly at me and my table because it does make it more obvious.

I came here for a big family meet up at the weekend, it was amazing! I didn’t get his name but the waiter was so great with my young cousins, was joking around with all of us and overall made it a great experience. Definitely would recommend!!

Have been many times before with no issues but the last visit the place was practically empty but you couldn’t get the staffs attention, they seemed disinterested and dismissive which made us feel rather uncomfortable, it came across very rude.

Really disappointing visit to this Prezzo! We were served by Luke - ?manager/ front of house. Cold manner throughout all interactions, and when I asked if a group picture could be taken, he ignored the request directly. Sub par behaviour, really disappointing! However the meal out was somewhat salvaged by Natasha, a lovely member of staff who managed to arrange our bill for us promptly!

Terrible service, our waiter was not very happy that we arrived :-) and he sucked his teeth when I mentioned my dirty wine glass. He also stunk of cigarettes, which was disgusting! Food was ok, nothing special. I ordered the Strawberry Sundae for dessert and to my surprise it was prepared on the bar by the stinky waiter! Won't be coming back, many other better places to eat around Bicester!

A great meal out with a good atmosphere and lovely food. The service was initially fast and friendly. As the evening progressed it was slower but still very friendly. I had a truffle burger and truffle fries which was great. Mocha at the end end was also really good. We used Tesco club card vouchers which the staff were very helpful with. Prezzo Bicester never disappoints.

Dreadful lack of service, waiter could not even hang around long enough to get our full order as he wandered off. Seemed pre-occupied - not with the customers! Only 2 sets of guests including us. Did not bother ordering the bottled water or garlic bread when he came with our drinks as he seemed to be on the phone all the time. Waitress brought food then rushed off, had to call her back for cheese topping but she did not hang around to hear we would like chilli oil. We did not bother with pudding or coffee. Very disappointing, came out feeling totally underwhelmed. Long term Oxford Prezzo customer. Bicester was okay a few months ago but it has deteriorated a lot over the past couple of months. None left to go to now!

I loved Prezzo when they were in Northern Ireland, but sadly they closed a lot of their restaurants including all branches in NI back in and around 2018 My fiancé and I love Italian food and he had never been to Prezzo before, so we decided to go here when on holiday in May. The carbonara was delicious, which we both had. The waiter was friendly and attentive Overall, yes I would recommend Prezzo in Bicester

Great food and friendly helpful staff. Called in without a booking it was early so we got a table. I don’t eat cheese so asked for a spicy calzone without cheese it was amazing the Margherita pizza and garlic bread were also great and fresh. I’d recently joined the Prezzo mailing list so got a free bottle of Prosecco. Keep up the good work.

The food was incredible, I was told that there was a staffing shortage but honestly I didn't even notice it, we barely had to wait at all and the staff were friendly, not a single bad thing I could say about it really.

We were served by a youngish Italian guy tonight and he absolutely made the whole evening. What a credit to the team you are! Impressed with the entire vegetarian / vegan menu too. The Bicester Prezzo has a really nice atmosphere and some striking architecture. Food was lovely. Definitely give it a visit if you're in the area :)

The only positive about this visit was the food was lovely. Staff did not acknowledge us for a long time. We had to get the attention of them for everything. My partner asked if we had to go to the counter to order as we were waiting so long and we got a rude remark back, despite the restaurant being almost empty. In the meantime, somebody walked out as they had been sat for 20 mins and not one person had acknowledged them also. Shocking service, unfriendly vibe, felt on edge and awkward the whole visit. Manager away with the fairies and staff followed suit. You can tell they have not been trained properly at all, customer service was non- existent.

We have been dining here for at least 5 years and have never had an issue and have been here at least 10 times. Today’s visit was disappointing. Both of our pasta dishes cane out on cold plates and my lobster and crab ravioli (which is one of the most expensive dishes on the menu) might aswell of been a starter, it consisted of about 7 pieces. I ordered coffee for pudding that came out a lot later than my husband’s pudding did. My husband’s sphaghetti was pretty bland. Sort it out please Prezzo and up your game again.

Excellent. The dough on the calzone was light and delicious. The lemon meringue pie was one of the best I have ever tasted. It was a busy night with few staff but they were brilliant, working tirelessly to make sure everything was just right

Food was lovely and came out fairly quickly. The only downside is that it was hard to get the attention of the staff especially given as it was not a busy time of the day. Overall it was a good visit and the food is always of high quality.

Lovely food but the service was well below average. The cleanliness of the restaurant was poor, very dusty in places. When staff were approached about this they were very defensive and rude, one waitress in particular. Won't be returning.

My family and I have just moved to Bicester from italy in September. Today was my wife’s birthday and we wanted to get some Italian food, so we tried out Prezzo! The food was phenomenal! The service was excellent and James made sure we enjoyed our time! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! Thank you for the great food and amazing atmosphere! It is unusual for me to write a poor review. First thing to remember... if you want to eat past 7.30... DONT BOOK HERE! There are far nicer more welcoming places to eat in bicester. However the service from a male server in a purple jumper was atrocious. For transparency, We were booked for 7.30 a table of 9 admittedly 2 of the table didn't get there until 7.50.... but the restaurant was not full and our orders were taken as soon as we sat down.. so all in before 8. He was clearly mad and wanted us to know. He walked around the table not asking any questions... just staring at us when it was our turn to order, huffing as he put it in.... though I'm not sure why he was so mad, since when the food arrived .. it was clearly not cooked from fresh... so prep time must be minimal. We were all out by 9.15pm. That's with starter through to dessert.. it was so rushed and awful. Definitely will not be here again Though I'm positive that man in the purple jumper doesn't care. In contrast... everywhere else we have ever eaten in bicester (we all work there) has been lovely.

Absolutely AMAZING place. Food is always well worth the money! And sooooooo nice. Warm and extra friendly staff. Manager Luke and Helena the waitress ate out of this world!! Never have had any problems!

A very friendly lady waited on us and really helped make our evening special. She complimented and joked with us whenever she would come near the "pretty table" which made my date and I blush. Another great night here in Bicester! I have been to many different Prezzo restaurants in the country and this one has the nicest looking interior I've seen, with the same great tasting food I have come to expect from the chain. For a family-friendly Italian place, the atmosphere is lively and they serve comfortingly delicious pasta. Will remain among my favourite places to go for any occasion.

On arrival we were asked if we had booked which we hadn’t but it wasn’t busy at all and all of upstairs unused. There was so much unavailable on menu it would have been easier to tell us what was available, both food and drink choice was limited. The dishes we did get were nice enough although mine wasn’t very warm but it was ok for me. My arancini starter was a bit overdone though The guy who greeted us was nice enough but not overly hospitable to be front of house and sorry to say he smelt of cigarettes which is a bit off putting. The bar area looks scruffy and lots of dirty glasses sitting on it and behind it, the wooden areas behind our seating hadn’t been cleaned in a while as I run my napkin over it and it was thick with dust. A chef came through the restaurant and seriously he didn’t look awfully clean or tidy and to be honest he dragged himself back to the serving area like he was going to the chair to be fried. We weren’t asked how our meal was which is basic courtesy in a restaurant I think, so overall this place has gone downhill as it used to be really nice. Really needs attention, especially on appearances both staff and surroundings.

They didn't have the wine we ordered, first Italian restuarant that didn't offer fresh chopped garlic, when we asked for garlic the waitress was to scared to ask the chef. They gave us some garlic paste then they didn't have olive oil only Chili oil. Prices were very high and the food was so disappointing.

I paid for my food and they said my transfer didn't go through so I paid it again. When I've checked it I realised they charged me twice. When I ask for my money back they said I'll get it 2 days later!!! After 2 days the money wasn't on my account. When I asked for my money the manager was arrogant, disrespectful and tried to blame me. It was absolutely ridiculous. I'll never go there again.

Went as 7, service was fine, offerred to help me take pictures :D. Building is cool. But the food. Below average I'd say. Soggy truffle fries (not pictured), tasteless Mozeralla Pesto, underwhelming sea bass (my choice), people weren't exactly raving about their meals either - pictured some of them. I don't know if I'm just spoiled but I've honestly had hello fresh meals that were tastier. My apperol Spritz was awful and the Peroni from the tap was dreadful. £6 for a bottle of lucky saint ???... I'd like to give 2.5 stars but that doesn't seem possible and I def can't give it 3 stars so sorry 2 stars it is.

I paid for my food and at the door the lady said my money didn't get through. I paid it again. I've checked my bank account and I realised they took the money twice from me. They said they'll be transfer me in 2 days!!! After 3 days!!!!! my money is still not on my account and now they said 4-5 days. Also how the manager talked to me it was absolutely ridiculous. He was arrogant and disrespectful. I definitely won't go any Prezzo restaurant again.
