The lighting was too bright. The service standard but not welcoming. The food just about acceptable enough to agree payment! I wouldn't come back.

Always friendly, look after their customers really well, can't do enough for you. The place is always clean and tidy. Can't fault the staff, food and restaurant, can't wait to go back again. Thank you Frankie and Benny's

So go for a meal to see a football match in the area to be told by a member of staff ..certain deals can't be done as football game on later...huh! Food not the best in the world and to cap it all off one member of staff was rushing the table, giving the evil eye when he walked away and then having paid the bill gave no receipt and didn't even say thanks for your custom. Needs to improve customer service and food. Had to give 1 star ..shame I couldn't do 0

I recently dined at Frankie & Benny’s and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the staff, setting a welcoming tone for the evening. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, with that familiar cozy Italian-American vibe that makes you feel right at home. Our servers, Poppy and Fabian, truly went above and beyond to make the meal memorable. Poppy was attentive and friendly, checking in with us at just the right moments without ever being intrusive. She had great menu recommendations and a genuine smile that brightened up the table. Fabian, equally excellent, was quick to assist with our requests and had a fantastic sense of humor that added a light-hearted touch to our experience. Their teamwork and professionalism made us feel incredibly well-cared for. The food, as always, was outstanding. We started with the classic garlic bread and Calamari, both of which were fresh and bursting with flavor. For mains, the spaghetti carbonara was creamy and perfectly seasoned, while the BBQ ribs were tender and cooked to perfection—truly mouthwatering. The dessert options didn’t disappoint either; the sundae was amazing! In terms of value, Frankie & Benny’s exceeded expectations. The quality of the food, combined with the fantastic service from Poppy and Fabian, made the experience well worth every penny. Parking was available just across the road, I'm assuming it may be difficult to park on match days. Dont forget to input your registraton on the tablet when you arrive or you may get a fine. The gentlemen working when we visited were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the history of F&B and the dishes. Food was served quickly and was fresh and tasty. Toilets are easily accessible on ground level.

Coco , Mateo and team made sure our daughters birthday party guests were all taken care of. Very efficient , good value and best of all they were all so friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much. The food was delicious, we were a able of x12 (10 children x2 adults) and there was enough food to go round and take home! We used the 2 pizzas, pasta fries and drinks deal for £30. I would definitely come back and highly recommend F&B Oxford.

Came here last night ordered 2 X Pasta Carbonaras . Would actually go as far as saying a ready meal from Tesco would have been better . Virtually tasteless . Service was quick and friendly .

Food was awful! At no fault of the staff, into the menu maker and the chef! Very cold, not cooked how asked for with the steak. The manager was very understanding and provided compensation!

The staff here were amazing when my daughter and her friends came for her birthday. Singing happy birthday, they even added decorations to her cake! They loved the food and recommend the macaroni cheese. A really nice place to go to celebrate!

Really enjoyed the food and service. Bit of a kick in the teeth having to pay £100 to park with no warnings whatsoever indicating we needed a ticket after going here for many years. I won’t be going ever again, neither will my friends and family. Enjoy your £100.

My Daughter and I entered and the place looked deserted. After waiting for 3 minutes for the waiter (the only one working a lunch service) to come over whilst on his phone, we were seated. Ordered food and waited, G4S collection arrived and the waiter disappeared for 10 minutes, leaving our food on top of the counter for at least 5 minutes. When he finally reappeared the food was brought out to us, it was barely luke warm, even the Mac & Cheese for my daughter didn't retain its temperature. The waiter asked if everything was ok, I didn't complain there and then because I had neither the time nor the patience to wait for it to be cooked again. Table: 11 c: 2 Order #4

The food was standard American diner style. Both the starter and the main came out at the same time, which is unusual. The portion size is ok, but the prices certainly do not reflect what you get. The pictured burger was £17! Service was actually pretty good, but you could tell that if they had any more people in they would have been in trouble and been run off their feet. Lots of families with very young children, not a place to go of you want a quiet dinner.

Fantastic staff, lovely and welcoming atmosphere. Kids happy with their meals, sides were very good. Steak wasn't too good though. All in all, recomended

Haven't been in years and went before the cinema. It wasn't busy and the food was served hot and reasonably quickly. We were served by a friendly guy, who made us feel welcome. The menu on the website is out of date, as the vegetarian choices were no longer available. I had the vegetarian burger which was nice. All food was tasty and reasonably priced, but better that I was able to use my Tastecard which allows 2 for 1 Sun-Thurs.

I was on holiday in Oxford and this restaurant in front of the stadium immediately caught my eye, we decided to try it, more than the right choice, really delicious food made to perfection, really friendly and kind staff, not to mention Coco, it's really exciting to have him as a waiter☺️ If you are around, don't miss it 😌

Brought my starter and main course out at the same time so my sweet potato fries were luke warm. Drink was empty for ages, had to stop the server in the end so I could get another drink (this was a little after 5 so not busy at all), didn't clear my starter plate away. Food was okay but nothing special.

A good clean Frankie & Benny's relaxed staff although there was a bit of a wait. Fortunately we were happy to wait as we arrived earlier for Adventure Golf that we expected.

We went there for lunch yesterday but to my shock tables and benches are made for only certain people of certain size to fit in, my brother who's bigger guy could barely fit in and was so uncomfortable as well as my mom. I find it discriminating. Food is more than average with a very cheap burger meat quality. Not gonna eat there again unfortunately.

Visted the Oxford branch on Thursday the 7th of March, having not been for many years and had been great. This experience was altogether a different story. We arrived at 7pm, were seated by a member of staff who look overjoyed (sarcasm) to be there. I should have known what we were in for as soon as we walked in and saw only 4 other tables occupied. We ordered 2 coke's which arrived a few minutes later and tasted "off" if thats the right word, both almost clear and obviously didn't have enough syrup mixed. Not having the Chicken calzone on the menu I remembered, I opted for a cheeseburger and my wife orderd a margarita pizza. No less than 5 minutes later our food arrived and honestly I was a little taken back by how quickly arrived given the state of the burger I was greeted with. It was almost black on the outside, the beef was crumbling apart..much like something you leave on a BBQ and forget about, only not hot enough to melt the "cheese" that was on top.. being at that stage where it starts to sweat and just started to turn translucent. I took two bites and decided not to risk potential stomach issues later in the evening. My wifes pizza genuinely looked like it had been removed from a box 5 minutes prior, something like a Chicago Town frozen pizza you find in Budgens, again 2 slices and she gave up, you would have a better experience at a McDonalds drive through. The food was quite obviously pre cooked and re heated, the service was lackluster being more preoccupied with the several Uber Eats riders waiting for thier collections and the only reason I have given it a 2 is because I felt a modicum of sympathy for the poor guy who looked like he'd rather be anywhere but there at that particular moment. In summary, we arrived at 7pm ordered drinks and food and were back out the front door by 7.35pm. Not the buzzing lively place it once was, terrible food, terrible atmosphere and will not be returning.

Absolutely abysmal. All started when they rang us 20 minutes before our time we had booked to hurry up on our arrival. We then got there and we were rushed into sitting down, rushed into ordering food, having my starter come with my main. Mac and cheese was horrendous, had no flavour, and midway through eating they brought the bill to my table and told me I had to pay. I do not recommend at all. This place is abysmal in every aspect

Quite simply the most efficient restaurant I’ve ever been to. Went on a match day when they were super busy they sat us down within 5 mins and food served within 15 all employees working hard and super polite and helpful hats off to these guys thanks for fantastic service!

Popped in for a hot chocolate and brownie whilst waiting for my car to be cleaned.. Nice enough, very quiet, so service was quick during the afternoon in the week 👍🏻

F&B are falling from my favour after my latest visit. Their prices have gone up and the choices have reduced. Vegetarian choices have been replaced by vegan choices which is my pet peeve and the replacements are tasty so no reason to accept them. Service was great, but if food is not great then you can't justify going there.

Worst experience We were told after 30 minutes almost in the middle of our dining that we should empty the table .

These legends fixed me up with a takeaway hot dog in under 10 mins when Vue had sold out! Dog was delicious and piping hot, with lovely crispy fries all served in a convenient box. You even get a discount if you have a cinema ticket!

Remarkable service! Entered with a 7-man group one hour before closing. One of the quickest service I've ever experienced! Narcisa was patient, caring, attentive, and offered to take pictures of us when she noticed. Luis was the only chef in the kitchen at the time and with such little amount of time, cooked and prepped all of our meals with great taste and presentation. Last but not least, Deyan (manager?) was welcoming, engaging, and enthusiastic with his presence. To top it all off, one of the group had their birthday and the staff proceeded to play some entertaining music. Thank you for making our evening memorable!

Asked for a table for 2. Was rudely greeted by a simple ‘no’ from the host. (in an Oxford shirt). Clearly not bothered about general public/ and or away fans, more bothered about pleasing the local fans. Disgraceful service.AVOID

I had the meat feast pizza here which cost £15.80. Honestly one of the worst pizzas I have ever had at a restaurant. The pizza was small and you can tell the ingredients are frozen. For that price point would expect a lot better. I've had nicer supermarket bought pizzas. Overpriced and lacking in quality

Stopped in for a quick lunch after bowling. Was good enough. Lots of children running around and climbing on other unoccupied booths and parents didn’t seem to bother with them but other than that was fine.

Was sent the cheaper chicken burger with BQ sauce and no bacon but ordered and paid for the signature chicken burger, not happy about that.

Much to my surprise I really enjoyed our meal. I'd never been before. Arguably the best vege burger and chips I've had in a chain restaurant. What was also very refreshing was being served a good baked cheesecake in a restaurant. That's very rare in my experience. The service was excellent - our waiter was warm and friendly and very quick. Given it was my 43rd birthday I could have done without being the centre of attention for 30 seconds when happy birthday started blaring out but I appreciated the thought! I also had a really good cocktail ( Raspberry Bramble) which was reasonably priced at £8.90. The only downside was the atmosphere which was pretty flat given it was maybe a third to a half full at 6pm on a Friday. The decor is starting to look quite tired too. It's a shame because the food deserves better.

We had lunch here for our staff away day. Catering for 40 people and the food and service was absolutely superb. Great staff, really helpful and made our day a real success. Highly recommended.

Had a nice dinner here recently. Family friendly place, I was here at a Saturday evening. Would say it was 'medium' busy. I reserved online short in advance, this was a very smooth experience. Food itself was tasty, I had a pizza, ice-cream and waffle desert with a beer.

Was sat very quickly by very accommodating staff, who asked after what sort of seat/table we wanted as friend I was with was in a wheelchair. Waitress was very efficient and friendly. Food came very quickly. Vegan burger was delicious with jalapeños giving the burger a great bite. Meat burger was good too. Brisket beans were very nice Overall, a great meal with super service. Was very impressed!

All round great place to eat. The food was served in a timely manner, the staff were welcoming and helpful. We had a baby with us and my partner asked for some cooled boiled water for him to drink and the request was obliged without question.
