Food and atmosphere were great. Service was good. Hadn't been for a while but still as good as I remembered.

Vicky (hope I've got that correct) made us the perfect muffin, egg, sausage, bacon, all the good stuff! So tasty and at a very reasonable price. Exceptional hospitality and ideal atmosphere for enjoying food and drinks. Highly recommend!! Thanks team.

A small restaurant with limited access but well worth the effort. This restaurant has survived for decades where it is for a reason.

Other then the can of coke it wasn’t very nice Wedges were very burnt and pizza didn’t taste cooked

Staff were lovely, food was mediocre! It's really over priced, we ended up having a saver deal for £18, which was two burgers and fries... Otherwise it would have been close to £40…! Not really that enjoyable and definitely wouldn't be returning!

Asked for cheese burger wirh tomato and lettuce. It came plain. Chips were ok. Had to ask for knives and forks as they brought the food out and walked away. Burger wasnt pleasent to eat.

It was not good food at all it was cold food never going back there so no apologies for the food to be cold and service was rubbish

Always enjoyed popping into this pub, friendly staff and good service. Sadly the future for this place was written on the walls. Struggled to get clientele in this climate, hopefully the staff have been able to find employment elsewhere. Not nice to be made redundant just before Christmas.

Six colleagues met for dinner; after one hour of a wait for a table in the almost empty restaurant we sat down. Ordered our food, almost another hour past and one of our two ordered breadboard starters arrived, then a burger before the second starter. Next came somewhere more mains including the smallest piece of steak imaginable with a surf and turf. The person serving us “Max I think” was great he couldn’t apologise enough but the management watched him without doing anything at all to help. The bill came incorrectly and all in all we won’t eat here again due to lack of attention by management and many staff. Very disappointed as the Crowne Plaza everywhere else is great.
