Sophie was a really attentive host and made us feel super welcome on our mums lunch!

Came here today for a birthday meal for 7 people for my husband. We arrived 45 minutes early but it was no problem, we was seated straight away. Drinks and food were quick to be served. The lovely young lady sophie who was our server was very friendly, helpful, polite and proffesional. She brought out a little desert with a candle and happy birthday written on the plate for my husband which really was a lovely gesture and made my husbands birthday even more special. Thank you zizzi’s! This was our first time coming to zizzi’s and it most definatly will not be our last.

Excellent service table was booked but we arrived early and they accommodated us our server Sophie and the others were brilliant friendly and very welcoming food was excellent it was my birthday and they brought out a little dessert with a candle on it which I wasn't expecting just added to the atmosphere my first time here overall excellent experience would definitely come again

Really lovely dinner here. Staff were super friendly. It’s a lovely buzzy restaurant and Zizzi have a very comprehensive breakdown of gluten free food on the menu. Meatballs to start were flavoursome and plentiful and the gluten free pizza selection was very good. Not just your standard options. Really nice topping choices. If I want a takeaway pizza, I think this is where I’d go to get one in future because of the quality.

Amanda was amazing and was very attentive, very quick to ask for top ups on drinks and ensure everything was okay. I definitely will be back ❤️

Took mum and dad here as i had a £50 voucher to spend, 2 pizza's and a lasagne, and 3 pudds when my son turned up. Was laid out lovely inside and the air con was an added bonus on a hot day, food was fresh, hot and nicely presented and wasnt a problem to take home what i hadnt eaten in a take away box. Had an amazing meal here with work peeps at christmas so will deffo be going back again.

We had pork belly and can I just say that was the best pork I've ever tried and we had a superb night with honey as our waitress she was so understanding and let us take our time ordering even though they were Busy will come back again (for the pork belly 😀) thanks honey and zizzi team

Food has gone downhill drastically. I have Coeliac Disease and have to eat gluten free and the female manager did not advise me just told me to ask a waitress when I order. The gluten free food I did eat made me sick, so I know there was cross contamination. Our drinks were lovely! The female manager was bantering and laughing with her staff, the waitress looked so tired and fed up. We felt rushed, and I could hear her and the waitress gossiping about how many tips customers were leaving, and shaming them for it. When we left I heard the manager say “good, now clean quick so we can get home asap”. So unprofessional in her manner. Avoid.

We arrived at Zizzi’s and had to wait a minute to be seen to and taken to our seats. The service we received from Maddi was THE BEST SERVICE. She took our drinks order not long after we sat down. She came back after serving our drinks to take our food order. Our starters arrived relatively quickly but our main meals took a little longer than we would have liked but Maddi apologised for the delay which was greatly appreciated. Because we ordered from the 3 course set menu, we were very full and couldn’t eat our desserts, Maddi suggested we could take our desserts home with us. Apart from the service, our meals were all excellent and tasty. I will definitely be returning. Thanks for a great dining experience Zizzi’s

Visited here before watching England in the 2024 finals; considering England's performance - eating here was the definite highlight of my trip to visit mate in Basingstoke! Ate at the Earl's Court branch a couple of weeks ago, and this one was definitely better in terms of the portion size; my "Pork Belly" did #NOT look like two slices of bacon smooshed together! All round 5***** for here! 👌🏾

The reason I scored 3 is because of such a speedy service! I would have liked to have at least a sip or two of my drink with the little nibble they offer but instead we git all together. We got meals within 10 min if ordering and the drinks too. So not my ideal scenario in the restaurant where I come to have a relaxed meal snd chat with a family, instead of that I felt stressed and got the feeling they want our table as soon as they could. The food was average, not like it used to be 10 years ago or more, red was came in ice cooler, they did swap it but still.. we noticed they have apologised to other 2 tables for other errors. Serving girls were friendly, don't appreciate that you have to go over several pages on the card machine and decide who do you give extra money too.

*Edit* - nearly 2 month later and we never heard anything back from the restaurant. They simply don't care. Terrible customer service here tonight. Waited over an hour and our starters still hadn’t arrived. Asked the waitress for an update, and she gave us a rude response essentially saying that other people had been waiting for longer and to put up with it. We then saw her gossiping about us on the stairwell with a colleague, which was the final straw. Can’t comment on the food, as it never arrived. Avoid.

I have been today in Zizzi and met the manager who is extremely rude and all she is doing is chatting to the waitresses rather then manage the restaurant on the top of that I have watched her being rude to the Deliveroo riders who just wanted to collect the orders - she on purpose Blocked the back doors whilst it was easier for them to access the restaurant. I will never ever go back to this restaurant just because of her

Really nice meal at Zizzi. Nice atmosphere, good selection. What was a step up from all of this is Olivia , who is pleasant, remembers you and is just really great at what she does.

Garlic bread is a must try- the standard comes with balsamic onions and it is uniquely delicious. The chicken wings are cooked in a skillet- resulting in a soft pulled meat rather than traditional crispy wing. Flavour is fantastic just not what was expected. Additionally, this branch gets quite busy in the evening so booking is recommended.

We visiting this restaurant on Saturday at lunch time. Upon arrival we were greeted by one of the staff members and told that there would be around 30-45 mins wait for food, which was fine. The staff member then asked us if we had any allergies. We told them that we don't eat any onions or garlic. They said are you allergic to them. We said no as it's our religion we don't eat them. The staff member then proceeded to say in a rude sarcastic tone, you don't need to tell me as it isn't an allergy. After being told this we immediately decided to leave, as we felt we wouldn't be looked after well because of our dietary requirements. We wouldn't be visiting this branch ever again.

The food took a long time to arrive, but the restaurant was busy so that’s understandable. The lentil ragú was okay but nothing special, the chocolate melt desert was pleasant. The staff were friendly but unfortunately the food could have been better.

A little quiet but we did go at around 6:30 which can be early for dining out. Food and was very enjoyable and fast! Amazing service. Would visit again

Me and my boyfriend went to Zizis basingstoke last week it was packed with a great atmosphere my waitress was called samantha she was very polite and acomidating to my dietary needs. the food and drinks where all amazing served hot and well seasoned I'd highly recommend!

Worst service in a Zizzi restaurant. I have visited Zizzi in Manchester, Salisbury and this is the worst service. Starters main came all at once and the waitress said when we questioned it is ok and we can rewarm it. No politeness . I will not go again

Service was absolutely shocking. Food was nice enough but took over an hour on a quiet day to get our mains.
