Whilst on our visit to Ask Italian we were served by the lovely waitress Anita, she took our orders, bought then to the table and then every now and then came over and asked if everything was ok. She checked to see if we needed any more drinks which was great and then when serving our meals asked if we wanted to anything to add to them. She is a great waitress and lovely person so thank you for serving us.

Love coming here and trying the different dishes, the house lemonade is my favourite. And the dessert new dessert options are great. Our server Anita was amazing making the whole experience a very pleasant, leaving very happy.

Daniel and the team made us feel very welcome and the food was exceedingly in a relaxed friendly atmosphere

I visited Ask Italian recently, I had a few starters and for my main I chose Carbonara Pasta. The pasta was delicious, waiters were great and Chef Gleb was superb

I came to ask italian last week. I ordered Carbonara, the pasta was cooked very quickly and the assistant chef Gleb was superb I will definitely return

Mica was a wonderful waitress - friendly, helpful and responsive. We’ve just eaten the best pizza we have had for ages with generous toppings including the extra mushrooms I requested. ASK Italian is our usual choice whenever we come to Festival Place.

The atmosphere was good. The food was worth it. One of my favorite restaurants in basingstoke. Definitely coming backk!!

Food was good, unfortunately there were a number of issues which were not good : 1. Food ordered took over 1 hour for mains to arrive and no-one came to tell us there was a delay until we asked what was happening with our food - apparently a mix up in the kitchen. (possibly also because the waiter had switched to another person to the one than took the order) 2. When it did finally arrive, one of the dishes given was different to what was ordered (a completely different dish not even similar sounding). 3. The correctly ordered one was then prepared and was good, but wrong ordered one was still left on the bill instead of the correct one. (we ended up paying a a few pounds more than if the correctly ordered one was on the bill). 4. No compensation/reduction on the bill was offered (I didnt ask for one as I think they should have offered that without asking given they were aware of the issues mentioned above).

I love my food, brilliant experience, Millie is a brilliant hostess, come to ask Italia whenever you can, for a great time ;)

We had the most fantastic experience at Ask with our son and his friends. Kasia who was our server was AMAZING! She looked after us beautifully, was so kind to all of us and helped to make my son’s birthday special with a lovely candle in his chosen dessert! Thank you Kasia for a wonderful evening!

Came for lunch during the Easter holidays. The kids menu was brilliant value and they loved the ‘build your own’ elements. Elena was our waitress and was super attentive and kind throughout. Can’t fault any aspect of our visit.

Amazing meal and service here. Food was prompt. Service was spot on, a really friendly waiter called Elena who was amazing with our children and showed good humour. She got the balance right between checking in on us and giving us time. Would come back again.

The Pesto & cheese Dough Balls were soft, airy, and rich with basil pesto. The Aubergine Parmigiana Ravioli was a delicious. Huge thanks to Theo for the amazing service!

If you like your food without flavour, saturated in oil, with broken shells in the seafood and burnt sausages accompanied by disgusting toilets this is the place for you, if not go anywhere else - literally anywhere!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Got to the door and was stared at for a good minute, no staff doing anything, a kitchen staff shouted at the girls to come serve us. one came over to grab a menu from directly in front of us and didn’t even look at us just walked away! they all stood and stared at us like WHAT? We were intending on spending big with our family who were to show up ten minutes later but nope. i went back to speak to The manager and mention how in my years of customer service i think it’s a little disrespectful and unkind to customers and all she could say was “cheers for letting me know” when she was one of the members staring before doing NOTHING

No customer service at all. Arrived at 5.45 for a 6pm booking to find ourselves 8 people back in a queue (and stood outside the door as no room left in the entrance). Queue was static with no acknowledgement from anyone that we were all waiting to be seated. Looking at those already sat at tables, there were no waiting staff to be seen and one chef behind the counter. We were seeing a band at The Anvil so had no confidence that we would have swift service to enjoy a meal before 7.15 so we left and went to Cote. We had no prior booking at Cote. Ab Fab service by Cote staff who sat us immediately with a delicious meal. Not the first time the service has been poor at the Ask chain sadly. Won’t be going back.

The food was fantastic! The pizzas and tha pastas were perfectly cooked and they were delicious. Elena our waitress was really professional, she took a good care of us. I recommend this place to everyone. Thank you for everything guys!
