Out Waitrose Emanuel was very friendly and professional!

Never dined in this restaurant before, but I definitely would recommend it. The pizza I had was really good and everybody at the table enjoyed theirs too. The waiter Emanuel listened to our requests and brought the food and drinks fast. I had a good experience.

Vicky from Victoria and Spain is very friendly, proactive and welcoming. She created the atmosphere, made us laugh and we enjoyed her service.

My friend and I ordered the same meal but on separate phones. The kitchen thought it was a mistake, didn't think to ask and only made one. The team member then proceeded to make it seem like that was our fault by explaining that "you should've have known to order on one phone"... They then offered us a free dessert but took 30 mins to clear our plates and give us new menu!

Food was perfect, Mica was a lovely waitress and was very helpful.

I had a lovely meal here for my birthday and our server Kasia went above and beyond to make us all feel very welcome and had a great sense of humour which kept us all entertained. We were a large party of 7 and we were seen to attentively and the service was excellent, very fast and the food was delicious. Kasia even went the extra mile and bought out a birthday candle for me on my dessert and sang to me. Everyone in my party thoroughly enjoyed their visit and we can’t wait to come back.

Had to wait as just turned up at 5.30pm on a Friday evening. Sat outside under the heater lamps browsing the menus until called to our table. Sat upstairs. Service was good and had the option to order via the QR code and table no. via mobile. Food was good with clean plates all round!

First time experience in this restaurant and was very impress, deco was nice with candles , food was 10/10 fast and delicious and professional front of house staff. Will definitely come back here!

Staff were friendly, although had to wait ! Butterfly prawns over cooked, pasta dry and meat balls were in pieces so couldn't call them meat balls bit disappointing more reheated than freshly cooked ..pizza ok

Weren’t greeted when we came through the door had to ask do we just sit down or wait. Lilia the waitress seemed disinterested. Service slow then drinks and food came out really quickly one after the other. Food was tasty but the service not up to scratch at all.

We had wonderful service from Vicki during our most recent visit to Ask Italian in Basingstoke. Very friendly and professional service, and especially considerate of managing allergy requirements. Vicki even leant me a pen to write a last minute birthday card before my friend arrived! 😊 Forduna potatoes and rigatoni pasta were excellent. No need to review the puddings, they were gone in a flash! Many thanks!

This was our first visit to Ask Italian, we booked a table this afternoon. On arrival we received a very friendly welcome and was led to our choice of table. An extremely helpful waitress (Beth) helped with our drinks and food order, thanks. We had a starter each and then a main meal with a side order. I have to say the pace at which our food arrived was great. The food was delicious, the quantity of food was generous, and we both enjoyed our meal thoroughly. Looking forward to our visit. Definitely recommend.

Popped in for some lunch today. While not everything was in stock (they were apologetic), we had a lovely chilled lunch. Pasta was yummy.
