Had a great meal in five guys Basingstoke this evening with my son and his 3 friends. We were looked after by Will who went above and beyond to make the boys night! Some say the food is expensive, but if you want a cheaper meal you compromise the quality. I rate five guys highly because the overall experience is excellent and much better than other fast food restaurants. The place was clean and well maintained too. Staff were quick to clean tables and the toilets were well looked after.

Justin is amazing and one the best workers I've seen. Made an amazing grilled cheese. Deserves a promotion. So does Brian. Two of the five guys that make five guys Basingstoke.

Wow. The restaurant was immaculate. No sticky tables or floors here 😊 The staff super friendly and really helpful. I also noticed they changed gloves literally after each action. Use a till change gloves Place a burger change gloves and this continues throughout the whole order. I was very impressed. 🤩 I was a little surprised at just how expensive it was but the food was delicious. We both had cheese burgers and chips. All delicious. Fantastic all round. Very very impressed 👍🍔😊

Absolutely horrendous value, better off walking 30ft across the way and getting a full meal for the same price as a mediocre burger.

As always 5 guys never seems to disappoint but I need to have an extra shout out to Alana who made the service second to none. She couldn't have been more helpful and had great humour too. She really is a credit to the 5 guys team!

Fries were quick and seasoned well. Cooked perfectly

I ordered a cheese veggie sandwich in a lettuce wrap as I have a gluten allergy, the staff were extremely accommodating letting me know what I could and couldn’t have. The sandwich was amazing and the fries made it. Great value for money and would definitely recommend

Good burger, never had a bad one from five guys. Staff were very polite and fast service. Just a bit dead. Do think the prices need to come down though but that's a criticism for every five guys.

My first time eating here and I'm really disappointed, £10 for a burger not worth it.

Delivered over an hour late than time promised. Arrived cold.

ordered at 4.30 and it had a delivery time initially of between 17.05 and 17.25. This just kept getting later and later. it then sksd the courier was at the restaurant but that was the status for about 50 minutes. when I tried to call them there was no answer. Food finally arrived at just after 6.30 and was cold.

I was greeted at the door, food was fresh and made quick. I didn’t have to wait in line either. They made sure I didn’t need anything else before I left, can’t wait until I go again

2 hours late from first order time, stone cold the second time this has happened in the space of a week I want a full refund. very poor.

the burger was great,the chips were cold and the drink was good but 2/3 full but maybe that's normal for the drink.

Driver was apologetic for the late order that took over 2 hours. But he has informed me that the food was made when he arrived. Good customer service from his side.

2 hours to wait for 2 burgers to be delivered is unacceptable. Fault is with Five Guys as they didn’t even start to prepare the burgers until 90 mins after the order was placed. Won’t order from Five Guys again.

Me and my friend there yesterday around two .we hadn't eaten with you before and being old we weren't sure how to place the order. It was explained perfectly by the young lady .my friend is on crutches and I have a bad back. No problem our food was brought out for us . All your teams had smiles and were very helpful . the food was cold when it arrived and after originally being stated of a delivery between 20.30 and 20.50 the times for delivery kept shifting until eventually it arrived about 21.20.

food never got delivered to my front door... I was waiting in the front garden for it so my dog didn't bark and wake everyone up... but it said they delivered the food when they obviously didnt

I ordered at 7.45-8 o'clock expecting to be wating and hour maybe hour and a half max. but to be waiting 2 hours and the times constantly changing is ridiculous. there has to be some sort of compensation otherwise I would of collected my self

Burger was left on the counter, fully made, just needing someone to put the bun on top and wrap. For about 5 minutes. Getting cold. Literally the grill guy popped the patty on one half, then walked away. When both bun halves were already on the foil ready to go. All this whilst they made a couple of deliveroo orders - I know it was for deliveroo because the driver arrived a few seconds after they completed the burgers (we were the only couple in there as well, so it couldn't have been for anything else). Clearly they know which customers they need to impress more :)

Solid hour for delivery in the middle of the day. No straw with milkshake that you pay over a fiver for and ketchup on the side was not included even though this is part of the order selection. Burgers were also way overcooked.

Foods good however, door says open till 2200 everyday but it closed at 2000… nice one.

food was good when it came but when I ordered the site said between 35-55 minutes and eventually arrived 1hr 30minutes later

3 hour wait after food was being prepared, order at 17:10 didn't arrive until 20:15 and couldn't cancel the order. When it did arrive, no milkshake. Not the drivers fault, all the restaurants fault.

Every time I order 5 Guys from Just Eat the food takes 2 hours and the food arrives cold, it’s just beyond a joke now. The time before this it took 2.5 hours to arrive and it was stone cold!

I don’t know what it is with using Just Eat in Basingstoke, but every time I order from 5 Guys in Basingstoke it takes 2 hours from placing the order to actually receiving the order, so I have to put the food in the microbe to heat up the food again! The time before it took over 2.5 hours which was just ridiculous, it’s quicker to jump in the car & pick it up yourself, you’d save yourself time and the food would be warm, plus you wouldn’t be paying the over inflated mark up prices from Just Eat!

Ordered food at half 7 didn’t arrive till 9:44 pm!! Absolute disgrace. Most of the food was cold as well. I want a refund

Ordered the same meal for the first time last week and was well impressed particularly with the fries. Sadly not the case for this delivery, the fries were not particularly warm, a bit limp and were missing the special something that the others had.........very disappointing, not sure I'll be ordering from here again.

My first order.....tracking not working which seems quite common now. However order arrived hot and very enjoyable which is the most important thing and the reason I no longer use the competition. Fries in particular were amazing keep up the good work.

the little burger shows as having lettuce and tomato in the picture. this arrived with just a patty, not even any sauce. don't put pictures that don't represent the actual thing was like dry leather.

Our order was delivered in a paper bag. cold shakes against hot food and the food was cold. When I asked why the food was not in an insulated bag to our door the lady was unable to engage due to a language barrier. very disappointed given the cost of the meal.

well over priced, no flavour, bacon was burnt to a crisp, took well over an hour to deliver less than half a mile away from the restaurant.

First time at this Five Guys and the worst one I’ve been to. Ordered 2 x cheeseburgers, one for my son and one for me, medium fries and 2 x soft drinks just shy of £33.00. One burger came as a small with only one patty. The receipt attached to the bag was covered in mustard and ketchup so I pulled it off and left it on the counter. Both drinks machines were not working properly. One had nearly all flavours of Diet Coke unavailable and the other had no ice, no full fat coke and the drinks were flat and warm. Very poor for the money. Will not be returning. Please don’t post a generic auto reply as that is quite frankly insulting.

I've waited 3 hours now, and suddenly the status changed to Delivered, when it hasn;t been. But the order is still showing an estimated delivery time which keeps changing. I tried phoning the numbe given but that is just a patronising voice message saying use the web site

40 minute wait for food and barely any fries in the large fries meant for 4-5 people.

Took over 2.5 hours from ordering my food until the food was delivered, for a Thursday that’s absolutely disgusting!

Came in to order 2 burgers, fries and 2 drinks. At 7:20 and we were waiting 40 minutes before we got our food. The long wait would have been fine if that meant a hot, burger with hot, fresh chips. Unfortunately our burger was half made at 7:25 and not ready to be handed to us till 8:10 so was completely cold. It appeared as though there was a hold up on the chips in the fryer but they were stone cold as well. In hindsight I should have asked for a refund after my first cold bite but I was so hungry that I couldn't face another wait for food and accepted the disappointment presented. At the price of 5 guys I will not be going back to this one any time soon.

Everything was luke warm, at the best.... burger roll and hotdogs bun was very cheap basic. Hot dog only just cooked. Chips tasted nice but were cold. The driver said he had to wait 25mins for the food at the restaurant.

This was our first visit here and quite disappointed in the taste of food and presentation. Felt very cheap quality but quite expensive in cost. This has been by far the worst ever tasting burger and chips we've had.

Overpriced, over-salted food. Sauces and salad are ice cold, which ruins the eating experience of the burgers. Staff were more interested in their personal conversations than noticing that I had been waiting for over 10 minutes for my order, only to find out they had it was sat waiting on the shelf for at least half that time. I'll be avoiding this place in the future. (Edited only for grammar)

One of our milkshakes had leaked, the food was cold and the grilled cheese sandwich smelt like dog food which made it inedible

It took over an hour from the time of ordering to be delivered. When it arrived it was cold!! Poor service on both parts
