Thoroughly lovely place. This is our first visit and we got a great vibe as soon as we walked up the path. All the team are friendly and most attentive - particularly Giri, the restaurant manager, who took an interest in our evening, we felt well looked after. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. Cosy yet spacious - we particularly liked that the tables have their own space and diners are not elbow to elbow - very important. Chelsea was great and professional from the second we walked in up until we left. Food was perfect and cooked to our desired liking. The service from Chelsea was great we didn't have e to call her over once for anything she was just there when we need drinks food ect. Lovely atmosphere as always however it was a bit quiet but that's no fault to the restaurant.

Was passing and popped in for a spot of lunch. Was extremely pleased with the efficiency of staff especially Giri. Food was outstanding and would highly recommend a visit!

It’s been a couple of years since we ate at the Longbridge Mill and thought we would go there for Sunday lunch. Unfortunately the experience was not as good as we remembered. We hadn’t been sat for more than 30 seconds when we’re asked for our drinks order, but they arrived quickly. We placed our food order about 10 mins later but it took nearly an hour for our food to arrive. Heard other people complaining about the wait, and a couple next to us who were waiting for desserts, gave up, cancelled their order, paid and left. My son had a burger, but when he removed the onion ring which had been placed on top, he discovered a 2 inch long burnt patch on the top of the bun. We asked for the roll to be replaced, which it was very quickly but the replacement was fridge cold. The chips were also cold so he didn’t eat them and the burger was chewy. The vegetables with the roast beef dinners were lovely, but the meat was grisly, and the extra side of cauliflower cheese contained little to no cheese. We decided to have dessert, and asked what fruit was in the orchard fruit crumble and were told it was a mix. Turned out to be rhubarb crumble, one of my favourites but definitely not an orchard fruit. However the rhubarb was undercooked and hard, and inedible. Pointed this out to the waitress but no action was taken. We won’t be going back to Longbridge Mill in a hurry.

Amazing food delivery recommend their turkey dinner and signature burger topped off with a chocolate brownie. Ollie provided excellent service and attention to detail.

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch at Longbridge Mill! The service was exceptional – so friendly and attentive. My partner had the turkey roast, which she absolutely loved, and I went for the fish and chips. The batter was perfectly fluffy and light, and the fish was cooked to perfection. The roast was exquisite, with all the trimmings done just right. We left feeling thoroughly satisfied and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Went for Sunday dinner with my partner and 3 kids everything was clean, food was genuinely really nice and it was very reasonable priced! I will definitely be going back no doubt. Family dinner at Longbridge Mill was really nice. I had a hunters chicken, my husband signature burger and my kids katsu curry and meat pizza. Food was hot and testy, service lovely. Pub is clean, tidy with really good atmosphere. We definitely coming back.

I’ve just had my wedding reception here, and it was amazing. The staff were ace, very helpful and friendly, I have to say Cheryl went that extra mile, helping plan from the first day I went in there to see if I could have the reception there. I would definitely recommend. Everyone had a lovely time and the food was very tasty.

This is one of our favourite pubs. Fantastic atmosphere, excellent food and ample parking. We will visit again soon.

We got there at 4, and didn’t leave until 7. The waiter recommended the fillet steak which was overcooked and bland, there was about 4 chips on the plate and it took forever for a waiter to come over. We waited over half an hour for drinks, and then over an hour for desserts which weren’t that nice to have waited that long. I don’t think I’ll return personally.

The only reason it's not a straight five stars is simply because it was so busy. The food was perfect the disabled toilet and ladies were spotless. The food was absolutely amazing , the price was very reasonable. Also disabled access the whole way through as it's all flat.

Oh dear. Booked for 7 o’clock last Saturday. Drinks received ok then order taken at 7.15 and told it will take about 30 minutes. At 8 o’clock we were then told that two of the three meals were not now available so ordered what was. At 8.30 we were informed that due to the change in our order there would now be a similar delay as the kitchen had to start again!!! With at we walked out and went to the pub in the village and got served within 20 minutes. We won’t be visiting Longbridge Mill for the foreseen future. Bye bye.

The restaurant/bar was overbooked. There was 40-60minutes delay to get a seat/table, and customers kept waiting in a long queue. There was 2 hours wait for food, and most customers kept cancelling their booking. The staff were overwhelmed and looked exhausted with know smile! The food was stone cold when they were served and this made most customers complained. It was a total fiasco and a terrible experience!!!!!

Awful experience. Over an hour for food that was cold and should have been sent back. Service was terrible. McDonalds on the way home as all that was available at 7:30pm

Great atmosphere with friendly and speedy service from Cheryl & Olivia. Food arrived hot and well presented with great sized portions. The pavlova was a real winner for desert and was massive. Great value for money. We stayed and chatted for nearly an hour after paying and didn’t feel rushed or pressured to leave. Hopefully retuning very soon. Thank you!

Food much improved from our visit last year. However, we were seated on the table next to the loos, which were quite whiffy. Fortunately another table opened up for us to move to and our appetite returned. One of our party was very lactose intolerant and the staff did a great job of putting his mind at ease.

Went for my husband’s birthday, was waited on by the very helpful Ollie. The food was delicious. Definitely recommend!

Service was a little slow this visit.

We visited as a family today and we left absolutely miserable. It was a birthday celebration that we booked for my father and the service we received was diabolical. So much so that it caused the toddler in our family to become distressed and I had to walk out and leave my meal as the waiter and the manager were so unbelievably rude and refused to abide by the law being that anyone over the age of 16, accompanied by an adult can have a drink with a meal. I was asked for my ID and i provided a photo which was not enough so i accepted and when my father asked for an extra glass with our bottle of champagne for myself, they refused and said that it was due to me not having ID. We brought up the law about being over 16 with an adult and they said they don’t abide by that law here and they’ve changed it… i looked on the website and it stated that nowhere. I am almost 20 years of age with tattoos and i was holding my son the entire time. i don’t look under 18 at all, let alone 16, i also provided a picture of my ID. I have worked in hospitality long enough to know this treatment was despicable. May i add that the other two people accompanying us were not asked to provide ID, one of who was actually 17 and therefore did have a drink with her meal. I left the restaurant in tears after how i had been spoken too and saw the waiter smirking at me from behind the bar. Other than that the food was cold, and i was not able to even eat the rest of my meal. We doubt that after the shocking customer service we received today that we would receiving any money back or money off our next visit. I am considering taking this further and to social media too as I’m a reputable influencer who was excited to make my posts about my experience but i’m afraid i’m leaning more towards posting what my visit was actually like today. So disappointing as this pub used to be our family favourite. Disgraceful, to say the least.

Helpful waiter . Three rib eye steaks one ok two a little too much gristle. Otherwise ok. Would go back but choose other options not steak. Maybe fillet was better. Should have paid extra for fillet and had medium rare not rare. No Guineas zero. Zero lager Peroni poor substitute. For drivers not enough choices. Kombucha is the new go to for drivers!!

It does get busy at weekends so worth booking

Food was very nice when it came but took 2 hours from arriving to eating. At no point did anyone come to check on us/apologise etc.

+The young waiting staff & the barman were lovely. Roast dinners & deserts were delicious. Ate our meal at comfortable warm table. - Not a great start though, no lamb or beef available (we ordered trio roasts) no parnsips or stuffing served, had to ask & chase. Tiniest pot of gravy had to ask for more. First table we were sat down at was literally freezing, we pulled the blind down behind us but still freezing, we asked for the fire to be lit but were told no coal but we could see logs, kindling & fire lighters which no one wanted to light. + But we did then move to much warmer, comfortable table so that was fine & the servers & bar man were really nice & the food good so on balance a good visit.

Good food, tasty and great value. Our ur server Cheryl was super helpful. A lovely evening. We would go again in a heartbeat.

Excellent venue, plenty of parking, restaurant had a welcoming and cosy atmosphere, staff were welcoming especially Cheryl and the new bar manager. Plenty to chose off the menu, I had the buttermilk chicken which was yummy, friends had chicken skewers which were huge, dog friendly and you can visit the watermill part which is still in operation. Well worth a visit as it was good value for money

There were few positives on this visit. The welcome was barely a welcome, the lady (whom I think is the manager), barely looked at us when handing over menu’s. It took a long time to get our drinks and food ordered. The food took well over an hour to actually get to our table. When it arrived 3 out of the 4 meals were lukewarm but we chose to keep the children’s meals and my wife’s as they were very hungry by this point (around 20:15). My meal was a fillet and was barely warm to touch so I asked for a meal that would be hot and match the £30 price point. It arrived again quickly, but had simply been warmed up and new fries added. No apology was given and no explanation or recompense offered. The kids were very tired at this point and so we headed home, I had to stop at the bar to pay and did not get asked how my meal was, so I decided to just call it a loss and head home rather than make a scene. All in all, a poor experience and I’ve promised myself I won’t be heading back, despite living about 7 mins away. Some customer service training is in order I think. We have been a few times and whilst it’s usually average, this fell well below even those expectations.

Booked here for a family birthday celebration. Lovely warm and cosy building but was rather quiet when we were there, but this could be that we chose a time between lunch and dinner. 1 small gripe was in a very quiet restaurant they placed another couple on a table very close to ours, meaning the servers couldn't easily get past even though their were plenty of empty tables away from ours. The service was quick and friendly and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back! 😃
