I go there every Saturday, best Chinese takeaway I have been to, their crispy duck is amazing and their staff are always friendly!

Food tastes great and authentic. Staff are really friendly too. Will definitely be coming back here again!

Just good take out Chinese food.

VERY DISAPPOINTED burnt spare ribs rest of it salty & tasteless ordered fron online menu & when to pay was charged £20 £57 for 3 persons! Shocking! more than expected! No sure where the high ratings are coming from. Will never return again.

Great food, very quick. Rang to order over the phone and food was ready in 10-15 minutes. Very tasty. I have uploaded the menu as it is hard to find online.

Ordered here twice in 2 weeks. Had the same order each time but both times the food came out good. I had just come back from 3 months in Hong Kong so i'm well aware of what the taste should be like for authentic chinese food. Obviously chinese takeaway in the UK is much different that HK but out of the chinese takeaways I've tried in Basingstoke, this one comes the closest to what the real thing is like. 1 Nitpick would be that the rice is quite average, other than that. I felt the price was good for the taste.

Sadly this will be the last time we order from here. We have had too many occasions now with inconsistent quality of food but last week was just horrendous. Ordered Crispy noodles with beef and the meat looked grey... sauce was tasteless. I ended up putting it all in a pan to cook it and added oyster sauce...

Had chicken in black bean sauce with egg fried rice. Delicious. Definitely would recommend. Place was clean, service was quick and very friendly.

I nearly always go here for Chinese. The food has always been really good and the service is very friendly. The only recent disappointment has been the BBQ ribs in sauce. The last ones I had were much tougher than usual. I hope that's a one-off. I do love the Bami Goreng though. Nice and spicy.

Not fresh unfortunately. Often tastes reheated, which is a shame for a well placed local Chinese. Would do well to deliver to local community.

Two of the ribs were just fat and the ku po chicken was tasteless. Service was polite.

Not going here anymore. Lady that took my order got in wrong and tried to pass the Blame onto me, very rude. I will be giving my custom to another Local Chinese takeaway.

The first time i have used this take away although it is close to home, had Chicken chow mein,Special fried rice and Fried plain bean sprouts all well cooked and tasty but i did think the chow mein was a bit on the dry side so had to use plenty of soy sauce could do with being a bit moister the place looks very ciean,freindly lady serving and easy to park the car the one offputting thing was the huge ash tray just inside the door full of dogends being a non smoker i could smell this above the normal smell of the cooking may be the ash tray should be outsids,One nice touch i did get a bag of prawn crackers thrown in free of charge thanks will probably be back

I drove 8 miles to buy a takeaway from here. It was my first visit, my journey took me past at least three other Chinese Takeaway establishments all of which only have a 3* hygiene rating which should tell you everything you need to know.The gentlemen chef and his good lady were very accommodating .The meal itself was excellent, Mushroom Foo Yung and Egg fried Rice. I will certainly visit again.

We had a pleasant take away meal for 4 but nothing stood out as above average. Havinf said that we would use it again.

I really fancied a Chinese only to find out Hee's at the top of town no longer existed, so I hit Google with a Best Chinese in Basingstoke search and coming in at No1 with 4.9/5 was Basing Chinese Cuisine. Ordered my usual dishes with a friendly and polite lady and in under 5 minutes it was ready which surprised me somewhat. The Crispt Chilli beef must have been microwaved because it was as tough a old boots with a slight drizzle of chilli sauce at the bottom of the container, the Special Chow Mein was not special in the slightest unless you're into o'ding on MSG. I was starving hungry and ate the lot so not all that bad but certainly not a pleasure and at £13 for two dishes it is over priced for what it is. Maybe I have been spoilt over the years and the residents of Old Basing think this is the best Chinese there is, they need to look further afield as this is bog standard ordinary.

Basing Chinese Takeaway is in my opinion the best Chinese takeaway in Basingstoke, have tried many other places but none of them have the same level of flavour as Basing Chinese. It has a vast menu which is similar to most Chinese takeaways however from exploring the menu there are some options that I haven’t seen in any other places. If you are looking for an amazing Chinese to have in Basingstoke and surrounding areas this is the place to go. It is a bit out of the way for me but definitely worth the drive.

Excellent Chinees food with very friendly staff. I’ve eaten there takeaway meals many times and never had a bad one.

I have eaten my far share of Chinese food all over the world but the chilli chicken & beef these guys cook is outstanding. Highly recommend & our new favourite Chinese.

Very warm and inviting staff they do the best prawn curry around and their chow mein is highly recommended

Never had a bad takeaway from here and have used it at least once a month since it opened best to order by phone at weekends can be a long wait otherwise

I am a local and I first tried this takeaway not long after it opened. It was awful. Last Tuesday, my usual Chinese takeaway was closed. My wife said we should try this one again as a long time had elapsed since the last time.The only item which was satisfactory was the prawn balls. The rice was overcooked, the chicken and pineapple was undercooked and tasteless. I don't know what the "barbeque sauce" on the ribs was - it just tasted awful. Beef and mushroom insipid. Almost all of it went in the dustbin. Oh, the prawn crackers were OK.Never again!

Awful. Virtually whole meal binned. Don't even think about it.

Recommend calling in your order as there's often a bit of a wait at busy times. Best Chinese food in the area. It isn't too greasy or salty and the menu has something for everyone.

I go to the Basing Chinese takeaway fairly regularly. The food is always very quick (even at the weekend when they are very busy). Have never had a bad meal from there. They even save newspapers for me when I go in to light my fire. Lovely family. Highly recommended

I use this takeaway at least once a month for the last 15 years and have always had a good meal. Sometimes it gets busy at weekends but if you order ahead you won't have to wait.

Had duck on Friday night - tastes funny and went to the bin. Not fresh

We have used this takeaway for a few years and the food is superb. It's never too greasy and always tastes fresh. If you haven't tried this place, try it, you won't be disappointed.

They make the best Bami Goreng ever...we have been visiting the takeaway since it opened and have always been delighted, by far the best Chinese for miles and miles and miles. Such friendly people...and they don't mind making 'slight' adaptations to their dishes, which pleases my 'chilihead' enormously!!!! Love it and couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Basing Chinese, Great food every time. I have been using Basing Chinese for a number of years and each and every time the food was perfect the kungpo chicken is my favourite with special fried rice and prawn crackers. Highly recommend.

Food very nice and authentic with quick friendly service. Could do with opening longer hours and on a sunday.

We have had many take aways from here. They are always very friendly, they have an extensive menu which represents great value for money. The service is always very quick and most importantly the food is very tasty. Try the House Special Chow Mein for a plate full of all sorts. This is literally steps across the road from our family so when we visit Hampshire we eat from here often.
