One of the Kent coast's Gem's - We spent an AMAZING few hours in this place ! - IF you really like Seafood you will LOVE this place.

Highly recommend . We had scallops to start followed with Mussels and Rib Eye. Staff so welcoming friendly and attentive. Fantastic food cooked with passion.

An Italian cafe set in a pleasant quadrangle off Marlow High St. A selection of pastries and sandwiches with some hot food. Attentive staff and an Italian atmosphere.

Best vegan food in Whitstable. Surprising, since you imagine the ponce is high in this town. But this is the only place that realises you don't make a vegan meal by just removing meat — you have to replace it. They have tofu stuff here.

We had an awful experience at Cotes, Bluewater on 21 November 2024 in the evening. It was a quiet evening with minimal people inside. We waited for 10 minutes to be seated at the door and was not greeted, we were stared at by several staff who were standing at the front of the bar talking and we stared back to get attention, however we were ignored. Being heavily pregnant, I could not stand up anymore and had to go inside and select our own seats. When we selected our own seats, we were still not greeted again, but stared at again by the same staff who were having a catch- up at the bar. After 10 minutes, someone came over and told us to move, explained I am not moving as I am now conformable and our previous issues at the door were ignored. They were persistent we moved to a more crowded area with lower seats and not conformable for a pregnant person and we refused. Customers should be able to choose their own seats. They seem more interested in getting us to move than greeting us and taking our order. We finally got to the order stage and the drinks and food arrived quickly. The portion sizes were small and overpriced, but we knew we had to order additional sides. Our bill did not arrive after 20 minutes of waiting for it and again the staff were busy chatting at the bar than to bring it over to us. We had to walk over to the bar and told them to bring it over. We refused to pay the service charge as the service was extremely poor. It seems here, staff having a catch- up and chatting is more important than providing a service at this place. This was meant to be our last time of going out in the evening before the baby arrived. Cotes has ruined this experience. We will never be returning.

We have been going to Huis for many years and have seen it refurbished with comfortable furnishings, but still maintaining its original family run appeal. What has changed since our last visit is that we were warmly greeted by an exceptionally personable young lady. Lauren led us to our booked table, took orders for drinks and on return took orders for food. She really made our day by being very helpful. very efficient, very interactive and had a great sense of humour. Truly a great asst. Everything about the occasion was perfect - great menu, great service, great food and lovely ambience. combined with a fantastic selection of Belgian beers. We really look forward to our next visit.

Frankie is a friendly guy who knows his products well. The food is excellent and reasonably priced I had the chilli prawns which were sumptuous. Get there before the season ends, you won’t taste better.

Food was great, a bit pricey.. 2 Fish and chips with 2 0% Heinekens bottles costed £50

Popped in for lunch with the family, nice friendly service and the food was amazing too, I had the liver and bacon which was amazing!

Visited this place with my work colleagues for Christmas dinner. Excellent service, food, location and ambience. Bravo! The chicken was halal which made all the difference for me. 😇 Thank you Caffe Gandola. Will be back.

This place has gone right down hill, Previously (about 3 months ago) Brought cod and chip, and the fish tasted like it had gone off! tonight we decided to give it another go and ordered pie and chip, the pie was so over cooked it was not edible! Apparently 5 minutes in the microwave. Which I think is excessive. Mother Kelly's all the way from now on. Sad as it used to be one of the best.

Excellent service as always, fully recommend the goat pizza. Friendly staff with reasonable pricing and top ingredients. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again
