The best restaurants in South East

Cute little place in the centre of marlow. Service was definitely lacking. We had 3 sandwiches, they were ok, 2 small glasses of wine and 2 coffees and it came to £65. I guess that’s just marlow prices but the service and mediocre food left us feeling underwhelmed.

The restaurant was empty on arrival and we chose to sit outside , Service was a little slow, and server went home half way through our meal and new member appointed Starters were ok , the steak tartar was the star of the show Mains were banging steaks seared and rested soft and juicy Fish was a farmed sea bass for the money and the quality of the mains on the whole would of liked to have seen a nicer piece of fish Had to place order inside for puddings Which were ok. On the whole was a good experience But could polish up on a few skills of service Service charge should be earned and not expected, when we booked we said we were coming from a graduation, and paid a requested deposit, but no congratulations or recognition, simple social service skill's

Excellent service as always, fully recommend the goat pizza. Friendly staff with reasonable pricing and top ingredients. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again

Decided to try Caffe Gondola on the recommendation of friends. Nice place, good service, but the food didn’t live up to the ratings. I had a below average lasagna with too much sauce, very little mince and little flavour or character. It did not seem freshly made, but heated up in a microwave and put in the oven just long enough to melt the cheese. It came out too fast to have been cooked “al forno”. It certainly did not meet my expectations. My kid had pizza and wasn’t impressed. He described it as “OK”.

An excellent early evening dinner for husband’s birthday. Being half Belgian it was a treat for him to find, he really enjoyed everything. This quirky small Belgian cafe has great atmosphere and food. One highlight was the ceiling cartoon of Tintin and Snowy (a great fan). The food was very good and large portions. Especially enjoyed the Carbonnade de Boeuf. Service very helpful and friendly. Possibly they could have done with another pair of hands after 6pm as it was very busy. Recommend always book if eating. Allow time for car parking as in short supply and mostly street parking. NOT EVERYWHERE is free!! We will definitely return. 👍👍👍👍👍

I was delighted at the level of attentive service here by the staff, who I believe make the difference to a good dining experience to one that is poor. The attention to detail was second to none and the food quality was outstanding. If you are facing an exhaustive travel itinerary, this is one place I would recommend. I’d also like to point out a key member of staff who went above and beyond my expectations called Aslam. Very kind and attentive service for an exhausted traveler. It’s a lovely peaceful and tranquil environment despite being at the airport.

Probably the best inian meal I have ever had and ive tried alot. Beautifully cooked and presented, piping hot and good healthy portion sizes.. thank you shaan and to all the gentlemen who looked after the 4 of us on Wednesday evening. Regards Darren.

Had a great birthday 🎉🎂 experience. Sheroz was excellent at looking after us. And helped us celebrate in style with complimentary cake, complete with fireworks and party atmosphere 🎆 🎇 🥳 🎉 Angus burger is highly recommended. Lovely birthday treat.

Great pub in Rotherwick. Went here after a walk around footpaths. Good choice of well kept real ales which is not always easy to find. Excellent choice of food. Lovely Nachos. Delicious pulled pork brioche bap. Chips were some of the best I've ever had. Very hot and slightly crunchy. Sat in beer garden put the back to have final drinks and coffee.

Perfect place on the harbour for a coffee and ‘something else’’; or light lunch; or even afternoon tea. Always very friendly and efficient staff.

Absolutely delicious meal. The Panang curry sauce was thick creamy and one of the best I have ever had. Highly recommend
