Superb! Fantastic food and service and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this restaurant. We had a lovely evening.

Absolutely amazing place with fantastic food. The flavours were sublime. I watched James Martin on the TV this morning and it was lovely to actually taste food right up there of the same quality. The Scotch egg was one of the best I have even tasted. If you find yourself in Winchester search this place out.

I had a meal today, this is the first time at Shandis restaurant. It was too delicious specially lamb chops, chicken Wings, kebabs and highly recommended for nan. And the atmosphere is really good. Thanks for a great hospitality. 😊

My husband booked this restaurant as we were going to be in Shanklin for our 45th anniversary. A revisit after two years. The nice table he asked for was by the kitchen right at the back so all I could see was the washing up the whole time. Food was ok but nothing special. Odd water glasses. They could have even offered a free limoncello but they were concentrating on a table of 10 and I think we suffered. My chair was constantly being knocked as the waiting staff walked by. We were in and out in about an hour. Not how we wished to spend our evening. We definitely won’t be returning even though there is little choice if you are staying nearby.

Horrible!!! My tummy actually mow hurts from eating there this morning. The most stale bacon. I asked for another one sbd it was stale too. Other items cold. I don't believe the food was cook fresh. When I got there at 10am, I was told they open at 11am. There was just 1 member of staff doing some admin and kitchen was closed. I waited around the area with kids to celebrate a birthday breakfast, got there at 11.04 and ordered. Food came within 15mins but it was cold and horrible. Nachos was also stale. Poor kids just tried to not spoil the day for tge birthday girl. I really should have remembered my last experience there last year where I met with a horrible staff who gave me very watered down milkshake. It was literally like the consistency of coffee. It only all came back as I sat to relieve eating bad food. Big mistake that will never happen again. The only positive of this was the server. Now I have to deal with unsettled stomach and regrets.

We pop to this pub on the odd occasion for a couple of drinks. However, this evening my husband and I came for food and what a feast we had! Alfie and Tom ~ you're brilliant and the food you served us was absolutely delicious! My husband is rather fussy when it comes to steak, but he ordered the sirloin and he said it was genuinely the best he'd ever had. The calamari I had on my seafood platter was so tasty and exceptionally tender. A truly wonderful meal, served by a fabulous team ~ so welcoming and friendly. To Lisa especially, you're so lovely. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you again soon :)

Great food at reasonable prices, good range of real ale. Staff were first class.

super tasty pies and a great vibe! it’s a small and cosy venue with very limited seating so be prepared to possibly wait but it’s worth it! lots of veggie and vegan options too that are clearly labelled which is great. can’t wait to visit again! ♪

Visited recently and had a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. The welcome was amazing, so friendly - great assistance with varied menu and drinks . Great selection with menu - truly Thai . If you want authentic Greek/Cypriot cuisine then you must go eat there - trust me I’m Cypriot & I will definitely be going back there to feast! Greg the owner was so lovely and made us so very welcome - you can’t beat Cypriot hospitality - thank you Greg!! The food is delicious!!!

Was looking forward to visiting a different restaurant… but was sadly underwhelmed! Nice starter of pâté Main of fish and chips… but fish was a “moderate size”, batter was pretty crispy etc - it was “ok” but hardly memorable. Sticky Toffee Pudding was not especially “sticky”… it was ok but not memorable. Sauvignon Blanc was watery and expensive for a bland Sauvignon. Gavin was nice. Service was good. Would we visit again? Probably not.

Unique view of the sea with sunset. The food and service were excellent - I have to change my mind that only France 🇫🇷, Italy 🇮🇹 and Switzerland 🇨🇭 have very good food. Local is recommended.
