Delicious food, lovely people, perfect place for family.

We love coming here for breakfast! The service is always 100% and the owner (we think) really goes the extra mile for his guests, he high fived our son who felt so special 💙 we ordered triple choc pancake - amazing. Poached eggs avo and waffle - excellent. French toast - yummy! Always a pleasure. Have a picky eater with my son, but service team always get his order correct with how he doesn't like his food touching on the plate - saves us meltdowns! Thank you 😊

Good food lots of succulent meat ... AMAZING !

Horrible!!! My tummy actually mow hurts from eating there this morning. The most stale bacon. I asked for another one sbd it was stale too. Other items cold. I don't believe the food was cook fresh. When I got there at 10am, I was told they open at 11am. There was just 1 member of staff doing some admin and kitchen was closed. I waited around the area with kids to celebrate a birthday breakfast, got there at 11.04 and ordered. Food came within 15mins but it was cold and horrible. Nachos was also stale. Poor kids just tried to not spoil the day for tge birthday girl. I really should have remembered my last experience there last year where I met with a horrible staff who gave me very watered down milkshake. It was literally like the consistency of coffee. It only all came back as I sat to relieve eating bad food. Big mistake that will never happen again. The only positive of this was the server. Now I have to deal with unsettled stomach and regrets.

The desserts and treats here amazinggg, decadent and generously portioned which is uncharacteristic of any other dessert I have had in the UK. Other Ice cream I have had either at a kiosk or store bought (made in UK) never had that wow factor or creaminess, sweetness and overall decadence that good ice cream should have. Imagine my delight stumbling upon this place in High Wycombe. I am beyond impressed. Keep it up. I hope this business does only better and expands to other locations.

Went for dessert. It was okay. Staff friendly but found the food quite expensive for the portion size. I probably wouldn’t return anytime soon.

We've been coming here often because the food is always delicious and the coffee is great. However, I must mention that the attire of the young female staff, particularly the mini shorts, is a bit inappropriate and distracting. I believe this could be improved.

Objectively the best ice cream in Wycombe!

Amazing place for literally anything food related, you want sweet things they have it, savoury they have it. Frozen prosecco is a highlight but make sure you don't end up in the escape rooms before the drinks run out

Popped in for breakfast. Bacon and egg sandwich. Overpriced for what you get. Brad was a bit dry, not nearly enough bacon to cover the bread and the egg and bacon was a little over cooked. Soft drinks are over priced but pretty good. I will not be back...

Lovely food, lovely atmosphere friendly staff. Good portions, good value for money.

A clear favourite to go to for my two, plenty of ice creams and treats that seems to hit the spot. It's also got its own Rescue Rooms that makes a hour zooms by with the amount of problems you have to try solve. Popular I see for almost everybody.

Food and portion size is always good here Tried the Apple and cinnamon crumble (on a waffle) for the first time. Delicious, and great value for money. Also, had it with the cookie monster milkshake which again was delicious. Service is great and efficient. Highly recommended to visit

Had a lovely treat here as a Christmas present from relatives. We were placed at a table quickly, and given menus upon arrival of the table. Our waiter was fantastic! He was energetic, and friendly and had a lovely demeanour about him. He was especially kind to my toddler who was not a happy boy during our visit, but this waiter (we didn’t catch his name) was phenomenal with him, he made him laugh multiple times and my little boy kept looking round for him. The food itself was lovely, served in a timely manner and was delicious! I went for the St Valentine’s crepes and it was yummy! Upon leaving, the waiter who served us came and gave my little boy a high five which made his day! Thank you for a lovely service, and an especially big thank you to our lovely waiter! We will definitely be visiting again soon!

Lovely food but one problem why do I have a service charge for £1, didn't want it.

The food was disgusting 🤢 🤮 that was the most horrific thing I have ever eaten. + the food took 20 minutes to get to me. Poor service and disappointing food. Would not recommend. If you want your stomach to self destruct, this is the place for you. 💀🤮

The whole family loves this place we love to come for all occasions the food is always amazing and the ppl are so great and the music is just the best too old school classics 80s rock and pop all round the best place ever please dont change or ever leave xx

Usual overpriced cafe with tiny portions of food, thing that got me was the service charge on the bill, sorry but your food is already overpriced for you to then go stick a discreet service charge on top. Unfortunately I had already paid the service charge and left a tip without realising they charge service charge but this has because popular in the UK now they are getting greedy. I refuse to pay service charge because I’m already paying you for a service in the first place so there is no excuse for you to go and stick another service on my bill. For this reason I refuse to eat at places who charge service charge. Won’t be going back

Ice cream to die for absolutely delicious.

I was blown away by the incredible menu - everything sounded so tasty and I was spoilt for choice. I ended up choosing the most amazing waffle which was clearly made from scratch with very generous amounts of toppings/filling. Presentation was beautiful too! I was also impressed by the unique ice cream flavours on offer, and if I wasn't so full I would've tried one of those too. Our waitress could've been a little more attentive. With 5 of us sat at the table, we only received 4 glasses with our jug of water, and we were also given an odd combination of cutlery which meant I ended up eating my ice cream with a fork. This didn't detract from the experience however as the friendly waitress brought us what we needed upon request. I can't wait until I'm back in the area so that I can have another delicious dessert

We went to the escape room package for a work day out. It was a really fun experience with well-designed themes and the staff were lovely. The ice cream there is incredible!

Staff were prompt, as was the food. Had pancakes; very nice. Took my Granddaughter, she loved it and we were provided with a highchair and colouring.

Went to the escape room! Was awesome! Got out with 1 minute to spare, friendly staff, amazing clues, well created. We will deffinately be booking another room!! Left wanting to keep going!!

Amazing place, we got are food in under 10 minutes after ordering! Great service and freindly staff, food was great the portion sizes were a bit big for me but it just meant there was more to enjoy at home!

Amazing as always, we are regulars here. The coffee is great, so many options for food and other drinks. Food is fantastic, the staff are so friendly and helpful, never had a bad experience. And I now can't eat any other ice cream, theirs is the best! Can't wait to try the escape rooms!

We visited the Works for Pancake Day and it was good fun. The pancakes are very tasty with lots of filling. The only down side was we were two of eight people eating so the atmosphere was a little to subdued, not their fault but that is what it was.

The escape room is such a hit with the family and friends. Small room, but very well thought through. One hour flies by. The free photo at the end of the play is a sweet bonus Now the dinner at the restaurant. What a friendly staff and clean place. The best waffles in many years. So crispy outside and melting inside. Pancakes are delicious. They have varieties of sauce to choose from and and the ice cream is so dangerous they are right from heaven. Absolutely mind blowing. Plenty of parking in multi story which is 3 minutes walk. Definitely recommend this place.

Had an Eton Mess ice cream sundae. The ice creams here are filled very generously and taste great. No real complaints here, though I do miss the honey sorbet flavour they used to do!

Wow wow wow! The escape room is so much fun to do with kids. Such a great fun filled one hour and the restaurant has the BEST pancakes, waffles are SO crispy outside and melting inside. The ice cream is amazing too. The staff is so polite and friendly. There is parking close by and its a 2 min walk so nothing can go wrong with this place and is very different to the usual soft play

Anna took care of us during thr crazy cat lady, it was our first time in an escape ro and it was loads of fun. All the staff were so friendly. Food was also great

We met up with some friends with our kids. This place is kid friendly and has a great variety of shakes/pancakes/waffles etc for both kids and adults. Portion sizes were generous. Definitely worth a visit!

Had an amazing experience at the escape room - the room was a little small so would recommend for smaller groups. The staff are super friendly. Very creative room and would definitely come back again!

Visited on 16/07/22 as a birthday treat for my 10 year old daughter and her 5 friends. Looked after by Imaan, who couldn't have be more friendly and welcoming. We arrived at 8:00pm and had a wonderful time and the food was delicious. Special mention to Imaan, who went out of her way to ensure my daughters allergies were noted and catered for.

Such a hidden gem.....easiest kids party ever. Sat and enjoyed a fresh juice will my children completed the escape room (which is brilliant, I have done it before!) . They all ate at the cafe afterwards and enjoyed incredible ice cream flavours. Visit! This cool little place deserves to succeed. Staff super enthusiastic and helpful too. Park at the Swan carpark and walk through.

It was ok service was a bit slow staff are friendly. They could pay a bit more attention to the customer as was waiting for 15 minutes for menu despite asking several time's 3 stars

An interesting style inside, like WW2 meets American diner, which was pretty unique. An all day breakfast menu centered on pancakes and waffles, with ice cream as their specialty. Visiting from Canada I'd say it was as good as I'd ever had. Friendly and enthusiastic service, delicious food that was timely. Fab!

Went in for a drink with 3 friends. Place clean, friendly welcome and had a lovely cup of hot chocolate. Was the wrong time for food, but the menu is very tempting

This is a brilliant place to eat in the heart of High Wycombe. Their waffles and crepes are delicious, their ice cream is very nice and their coffee and milkshakes were amazing. The decor is post modern industrial but their food is elegant and delicious. Well done!

The Works get a fiver! Not necessarily because of food quality, which definitely has room for improvement (I had a vegan sausage) 😊 Instead, they get a 5 for attitude! Rarely do I ever visit a cafe or restaurant where I get above average service, and you definitely get that here. My food was late, they gave it to me for free! Without even asking! I needed a place to pray, they worked something out for me in the back office! I wanted a hotter than usual flat white, I got that! And the owner (or manager) came to make sure it was hot enough. I mean come on coffee-shops! Learn from that! 😉 Thank you guys for a nice experience, and for genuinely "caring" about what your customers think/feel👍🏻

Not very impressed, I ordered a crepe, but there was only one person waiting on tables, so my crepe sat on the counter waiting to be brought to me. When I finally got it the crepe was cold. I was offered a replacement, but refused as I could see the same thing happening again, as it would still only be one person serving. I had hoped to get a reduction on my bill, as it was obvious that the crepe hadn't been consumed, but i didn't.
