We love Satollo and have done since it opened. There are many of us who are ‘regulars’ and enjoy the wonderful team and their various offerings from their coffee, to pastries and authentic focaccia to ciabatta. It is just the best place to go. Don’t miss it!😁

I have always loved this place but after today I have been left very upset and disappointed. I am a wheelchair user and today was unable to go in due to there being a step and no ramp. We ordered takeaway however this took over 30 minutes just for 2 sandwiches, we were left outside waiting for this time. We asked about why there is no ramp and the member of staff was very rude and told us it is not his problem and he has enough paying customers that he does not need a ramp. He was very rude and left me in tears. The way he treated me as a young woman in a wheelchair was just appalling. I will never be going back that’s for sure but really disheartened by the way I was treated.

Nice you Café , if you have time to wait more than 30 min for your coffee … and if you are lucky then you can get it, and if you leave the place without your coffee they don’t even bother to say sorry… This was our experience of today

A lovely space for a seat-in meal or take away bite. Amazing atmosphere and extremely welcoming staff with a smile on their faces. Coffee and pastries are out of this world too. A definite MUST next time you're in Marlow!

Found this little gem by accident this afternoon, and we’re so glad we did! Beautiful little place with seating both inside and out, and good ambience. I have to say the main reason for writing this is the young lady who served us today (Sept.1st) she was cheerful, friendly and very efficient, she also helped me carry drinks to the table and while we were there she didn’t stop being busy, keep everything clean and tidy. Really made my day, highly recommended!

Ordered Lasagna, I was immediately advised this will have a little waiting time as the Lasagna was prepared and cooked fresh, which forced me to drink a Peroni 😋, when the lasagna arrived it was possibly one of the best I have ever had and that includes a recent holiday in Rome. Highly recommend.

Amazing breakfast, simple menu full of fresh Italian specialities, including possible the best scrambled eggs, pancetta on bruschetta anywhere. Fantastic!

Worst service and the worst coffee I’ve ever tasted. The waiter clearly didn’t want to be there as had an attitude and food was over priced tasteless. Nice setting but that’s it go to fego down the road better coffee.

The best Italian restaurant in the UK. Excellent food, Italian, very good lasagna and parmigiana, excellent cured meats and cheeses. I drank excellent Italian wine and delicious coffee with pistachio cannoli. Really everything excellent. Highly recommended! Taste the Sardinian carasau bread and the warm bread. Mirko was fantastic! Good ambiance, sat outside in the sunshine. Place was bustling and staff very friendly. Flat white was great, asked for an iced latte however was told this wasn’t possible (we weren’t told why) . Instead was offered another cold coffee drink, which I tried but it wasn’t great! Would go back but would avoid that drink (the waiter let me know at the end that they get mixed reviews on it!).

I went on bank holiday Monday and the place was packed. The staff were quick to take our order but I think given the number of tables and the number of staff it took some time for our food to arrive. However, it was worth the wait. Their Gourmet Paninis are to die for. I had their Mortadella Panini on focaccia bread and it was divine. Will Definitely be going back!

We first came here in 2018 and I left a 5* review. Our most recent visit has prompted a new review as I wasn't too impressed. I was standing at the counter for ages whilst 2 guys were preparing coffee/food etc but not one even acknowledged me. It was about 3-4 minutes which is quite a long time to not even get a hello or I'll be with you soon. When buying a can of coke, personally I think you should be given a glass and offered ice but it was a hassle getting both. The outside tables were dirty and not cleaned. The young guy was very smiley and friendly but unfortunately with the amount of good coffee shops in Marlow, we won't be coming here anymore.

Used to love the place, now I don't want to come back. The Italian girl at the bar, don't know her name looking very friendly initially, shamed her colleague in front of all customers after a mistake made with the display prices , then proceded to treat us with an attitude because we had enquired the difference in price in our receipt, took the cash to refund it from the staff's tips jar and slammed it on the counter. Had it been handled with a bit of empathy for the employee, and an apology, it would have made such a difference, also didn't like that these mistakes are paid from the staffs tips, and made us feel guilty for asking

Decided to go here for lunch to get out of the rain. Only small but very clean and friendly staff. It’s like a takeaway shop so food and drink is in disposable cartons but don’t let that put you off. Food is very tasty….. we enjoyed home made soup and lots of crusty bread, all served really hot. Service was swift and with a smile. Coffee was also hot and delicious. You can find this place in a little courtyard inside Liston Court on the high street.

Nell’idillica cittadina di Marlow abbiamo scovato questo gioiello: un piccolo bar-ristorante-bottega che propone specialità autenticamente italiane. Abbiamo provato le “trofie al pesto con fagiolini e patate” e il “risotto con asparagi e gorgonzola”, entrambi piatti squisiti. Personale italiano e accoglienza calorosa. Consigliatissimo.

I love satollo so much character, this place...

Dropped in for a coffee on a Saturday morning. Waited for over 10 mins at the front of the queue while they struggled to remember who ordered what. Incompetent doesn’t cover it which is a real shame as the coffee (if you ever get it) is actually really good. Some customer training (and common sense) desperately needed. Ended up going elsewhere.

The coffee was good the custard croissant had only a smear of custard and was stale. The owner/older waitress was very off hand when I questioned it. Enough to put you off a repeat visit given the number of more customer focussed establishments in Marlow. Disappointing.

Really nice coffee. I got take out as I was having a walk. If you like a cortado then ask for a double machiato here.

This cafe is our absolute favorite spot. The coffee is made to perfection and the food is always amazing. The staff are friendly and welcoming, can’t ask for anything more!

Took a while to get served as it was very busy. Tables rather crammed in so not a good place to visit if you've got a lot of baggage!

We have used them several times over the years and this visit was awful, we ended waiting for an hour for two sandwiches. Another couple who arrived moments before us had to leave without eating as their parking was due to expire, when our food arrived , my "parma focaccia" came without the promised basil, the salad was basic undressed and included 1 sliver of cucumber and the tiniest slice of carrot for £12. I feel they have lost their way and they b=now either have a very poor chef or lack of staff, either way their offer is no longer acceptable, in the end they did stop accepting people to eat anything but pastries. I would not recommend go there currently.

Lovely, just a little expensive

Fabulous, friendly, rustic atmosphere with excellent coffee. Delicious soups, salads and rustic sandwiches. Would highly recommend. I'm lucky its on my door-step so several weekly visits are a must for me!

Great spot, food is not top end but good .. but expensive, thats Marlow for you. Have tried this place a few times and now I'm done. Hard to say rude or ignorant, but they are in my opinion, abrupt and ignored making you feel you're doing them a favour by visiting their establishment.

The best coffee and canolli this side of bar Italia

I booked Satollo for an evening work function for 26 people. We chose a stand-up buffet format to enable everyone to mingle and the courtyard was a perfect location for this, especially with the large patio heaters which offered plenty of warmth throughout the evening. From start to finish, the evening was a huge success! The food was incredible - from delicious antipasti platters to an enormous sea food risotto - there was something for everyone. Not to mention the ice cream from the ice cream cart, which was well received at the end of the evening. All the staff were extremely attentive and professional and I could not recommend Satollo highly enough! Thank you Satollo :-)

This was such a lovely place! We shared a huge meat and cheese platter (was meant to be for one person, we didn't finish it between us!) Drinks were lovely and staff were quick and very friendly. Five star!

Had a good coffee and a custard croissant. All good. Parking is easy around the back of the shops. Or you can get a free hour in the High Street.

Food was nice but would say the focaccia sandwich could be larger for the £11 pound price tag.

Lovely spot, but like my last visit, it was marred by less than friendly staff. Man inside on the meat counter was very unfriendly whilst serving. This is what’s put me off returning. No doubt they won’t bat an eye lid (and become friendlier) as clearly it’s a popular spot. I just prefer good quality produce (which it is), fair prices and equally important - friendly service.

Firstly the waiter (the one with an accent) was not polite. He only took our order and gave us our bill. We ordered the Lasagne and the Salmon salad, only to find that the Salmon was not a seared. My friend is allergic to raw fish but when she asked it be changed - the waiter came barging back with the plate of food. We didn’t want a scene so she took the plate and unsuccessfully separated everything on it to avoid the raw fish. She ate my side salad. As we ate the table was never cleared - not nice. Not once we were asked if things are ok. We didn’t even order more food because it just felt so uncomfortable. An old lady was coughing horrendously right next to me, no one asked if she was ok or needed help, or if I was ok breathing in her elements. The menu is so limited, the service is substandard - I was truly disappointed at this Marlow experience. Staff look stressed in this restaurant/ or unhappy. Not sure if they pump up their own reviews but the experience was quite the opposite.

First visit & last today! Been wanting to try for ages, popped there this morning, firstly we were asked if we just wanted drinks or breakfast, when we said drinks we thought they would give us a drinks menu as new place not sure what they offer but what was not made clear was you don't get a menu for just drinks, when the waiter came to take the order, we said we hadn't seen a menu, he rolled his eyes (very unprofessional) and walked off mumbling that we said no to a menu! We were then ignore for 20 minutes whilst he took orders from people who came in a long time after us. We left & went to another coffee shop who's service was 100% better.

The owner / manager put the 2 of us at the tiniest of tables in the middle of the thoroughfare in the front shop while there were empty table for 4 next to us and many 2 seaters at the back. We asked to be moved kindly but he said he would mind moving us in case a group of 4 came (an hr before closing). Anyway thanks are due. If it wasn’t for him we would not have discovered how delicious Sunday Roast is at The Botanist. Oh and we won't be shopping for meats on our way home as we planned. Their loss.
