The staff were friendly and welcoming. There were a selection of tables both inside and out, and the menu offered a variety of foods and drinks, I wasn't expecting a place like this to offer a such a fantastic burger and chips, but they certainly did! Can honestly say that it's one of the best I've had in a long time. My wife had a salad, which was also delicious and filling. We sat for some time enjoying the atmosphere and reading our books, whilst helping ourselves to more tea and coffee. This is a lovely place to stop for food and drinks, and we would highly recommend!

I don’t often leave reviews but we have just left This Ancient Boro and I feel I need to tell everyone how amazing our tapa was. We had 8 plates and we both commented on how delicious every single one of them was. I can’t recommend highly enough, the food was excellent and Sarah was amazing was well worth the trip 🥰

We're lucky to have this chippy in our local community. Always very good and today they went out of their way to serve us, something that many other places wouldn't do. Really appreciated so many thanks to the guy who cooked our chips!

first time going here had chips and most off them were burnt from the chip box and hadn’t taken out the small little bits. service was quick but the shop seemed deserted and ran down

What a hidden gem ! Just had the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time . The pastries looked delicious but couldn’t fit it in so will have to come back again , very relaxing vibe & the staff are very welcoming and friendly

Cute cafe and was nice to sit out in the sun at the front but found the smoked salmon bagels very average for nearly a tenner, and wasn’t sure about the balsamic glaze all over it? Staff were very friendly but we also received the wrong coffee order twice

Stopped here for coffee while cycling in the area. What a great place. So much choice on the menu. We shared a bacon, brie and cranberry pannini. I had cappuccino. Hubby just had sparkling water. Was really tasty and great for sharing as a snack at lunchtime. Would recommend and will call again when we're in the area. Staff were so nice too. Really friendly
