The best restaurants in South East

I was brought here by a couple friends who swore blind that Sanjay's was as good as it gets. I was not disappointed, the food is delicious, Sanjay and Devi are both lovely and the portion size had me doubting my ability to go back to work afterwards. I can safely say now that I have conquered Everest, that hibernation is now on the cards. I'll be back for more when I finally awake from my slumber 👍 Thank you Sanjay and Devi, live long and prosper 🖖

Great! Requested a last min booking with a few mates. A really warm welcome of “Hello’s” and smiling faces from all the staff and shown to our table. We ordered a mix of foods from the menu. Crab rarebit, Roast pork & chicken, venison sausage, scotch egg to name a few. All were brilliant. All our mains came at the same time at the right temperature. The portions are huge! A mix of happy people and dogs in the bar area. An enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommend visiting.

Exceptional service and food! This was our second time visiting and despite not having a reservation we were seated at an excellent table. It’s well laid out and decorated inside, each table has plenty of space and the napkins are a work of art. Portion sizes are very generous and taste doesn’t miss. As a vegetarian the Tarka Daal and Saag Paneer were the best I’ve ever had! A friend we went with who is coeliac found the menu easy to interpret as it has useful symbols for allergies. The staff are very attentive and friendly, and after the meal the orange slices, hot towels, complementary sweets and if wanted a complementary drink, is the perfect ending! We look forward to eating here again 🍽️

One of the best meals we've ever had, the Nepalase street food was sensational. Particularly recommend the fish Pakoda and Daha Puri. The lamb curries we had were superb too. Look forward keenly to our next visit to Dylan's

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, cheerful, and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious – full of flavor and beautifully presented. We asked our server for recommendations for both vegetarian and chicken dishes, and they gave us excellent suggestions that turned out to be just perfect. Everything we tried was spot on! What made the experience even better was the service. Our server was incredibly kind, joyful, and attentive. They made us feel right at home with their friendly attitude and really enhanced the whole dining experience. It’s rare to come across someone who clearly enjoys their job and goes the extra mile to make guests feel special. The happy, relaxed vibe of the restaurant, paired with the great food and outstanding service, made for a truly memorable visit. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal and a positive atmosphere!

Enjoyed an amazing cream tea here. Beautiful spot right on the esplanade, a real sun trap. The home made scones were lovely, and the service welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.

It was difficult to say WHEN we came because we visit OFTEN. Sotirio’s is our fave go-to place to eat. Where else could you walk in, be immediately enveloped in a cocoon of friendliness and care, seated and served with the most delicious food? We love you Sotirio’s. Roll on the next time.

This restaurant is phenomenal. Such a delicious choice of authentic Spanish tapas. Everything is cooked fresh to order. Something for everyone. Staff are a delight so friendly and helpful and the ambiance of the restaurant is so joyful. A must visit .

We had a lovely mother's day afternoon tea. The setting is perfect, the tea rooms are quaint but still felt spacious. The ladies serving the teas were both very friendly. A choice of sandwich and cake make it more personal. The scones were delicious. Definitely recommend the tearooms if you are in the area
