Steak pasty was absolutely lovely, recommend highly! Staff were polite and cheerful. Service was quick and food was piping hot!

Interesting to find a Bognor based chain of pie shops still going strong, but the pies themselves were underwhelming. Industrial pastry finished by machine and bland fillings don't cut it when the prices are far from cheap.

Came home with a car boot full of various goods, some for me and some for friends. Wow we were not disappointed. I travelled from Norfolk to Bogner Regis on a trip. Glad I found Turners Pie Shop. This was not a restaraunt.

The best I've ever brought - and totally full pies, no space inside as full-up with the fillings. Absolutely delicious and well worth the money - You won't be disappointed. Proper old fashioned friendly service too - which is hard to find these days.

I orderded online as a get well gift for my parents. Service was great and professional. They enjoyed the chicken and ham pie. It was nice that they didnt have to worry about prepping a meal. Filling and tasty. They enjoyed the delish pie for dinner, cherry pie, to be enjoyed a bit later with ice cream. Thank you. I would like to be able to do a pick and mix box infuture.

You'll never taste better pies! If you are a pie fan this is the shop for you. Not easy to find in a side road off main Chichester Rd but worth the effort.

Really, they are just great. Great, great pies. Try the ham and chicken, or one of the others because they are all great. I do love a great character count restriction, not to mention a great pie.

We have used turners pies for about 20years and they have always been excellent. I have found since going more upmarket and expanding there business they have lost that little bit of care that the old man used to put into his pies. Quiche was very very salty nearly beyond edible. Individual pies are now really really small and nothing compared to what they used to be for the same amount of money. The large steak and cheddar pie we had was very nice. Will definitely Start shopping about a bit if this standard continues Normally very good Last 4-5 pies off them have been not up to there usual standards and my biggest fault is now the individual pie size Shocking

Friendly staff and very helpful. The pies can be served hot or cold (if you want the later at home). We had three to take away as we were walking around the area at lunchtime . Absolutely beautiful, full to the brim pies! Have since also used their online ordering system, fast and easy!

We regularly buy their lunchtime specials which are always superb quality and value, to save us cooking a meal at home. Rock buns and bread and other products are always good quality and value.

My wife’s mum and dad had a steak and ale pie and an apple and blackberry pie delivered so they gave us half of the apple pie to try. The pastry was good and the filling was okay but no better quality than I’ve had in the past in a supermarket. I think considering what was paid it is overpriced considering the quality.

My aunt bought me a steak & kidney pie when I visited her at the start of the month. I have to be honest & say was a little disappointed- although was packed full of meat, I would of liked more flavoursome sauce within the pie

Heard about these pies on TA & we had to give them a try. We bought a selection of pies, some mash & gravy - we were on holiday after all. It was all very tasty & the pies were excellent. The lady who served us was very helpful too.

Funny how you don't notice the best things when their under your nose. Pie makers from Bognor since 1933 and winners at the UK's acclaimed Melton Mowbury annual pie competition, suppliers to Harrods as a fine food. Overheard two people in the Chichester Sunday market across the street from Turners, talking about "going to TURNERS to the get the weekly treat" Walked by their shop in Chichester hundreds of times and never went in. £10.00 for a family pie seemed a bit pricey to me ... So I bit the bullet and finally the pie, Chicken & Bacon for almost a tenner .. Took it home for the family, not daring to mention the price or suppler for fear of condemnation. We started with a 1/12th slice cold with cold new potatoes drizzled with salad cream. After the 3rd 1/12th slice the four of us had eaten the lot in half an hour. Well the rest is now going to be history. A new pie every Sunday from Turner's for Sunday supper.... or as it Turners out today ordered 3 meat and 3 fruit family pies for next weeks family BBQ and you can bet you life I wont be missing out with at least a 1/12th slice off each before the family gannets devour some of the most delicious pies I have ever eaten and at 67 I've eaten more pies and pie ploughman lunches all over England than you can imagine. Fantastic selection of traditional British pies. Really good quality pastry and tasty, fresh fillings make these pies worth the money. Sausage rolls also hit the spot as a lunchtime snack.

The pies bought from Turners are the best you can buy, full of meat and the pastry cooked right. Verry friendly staff and pies not cheap but are worth the money. A medium pie will give 4 good portions, so it becomes good value. We purchased 2 catering pies for a party and we were worried if they would be eaten but all gone at the end of the day. Pies are also tasty cold. I have noticed that there are a few negative reports and I cannot understand this.as the pies are the best

When we moved to this area everyone said we must try their pies as they are delicious. We bought both savoury and fruit pies and they were fantastic.

Turner's Pies are in a different league to other suppliers. Quality is second to none, with a great range of fillings. Look nowhere else.

So you may think it is just a pie shop but you would be oh so wrong, these guys take pie making to a whole new level. They have three shops - that I know of - Rustington, Bogor and now Chichester. They provide a full range of pies and all sorts of other delicious things, bread, cakes etc. If you like pies - savoury or sweet - there are no better pies I have ever come across.

As the shop is a long way from our home we decided to do click and collect pie!!!Having seen the Turners Pies on TV linked with the Pie Championship competition they came out as a major contender in the competition having won various accolades in the numerous competitions they have entered. We order a selection of pies that arrived in a"Cool Box" , All I can say DO IT. The pies are EXCELLENT and of the highest quality ( They can be frozen ). Great value for money. give them a try.,

I regularly visit Turners for a family size pie for the evening meal. The fillings are amazing and the quality is second to none. The lunchtime meal is a favourite for me and my Employees especially on the colder days when working outside, Nothing beats the pie, mash, peas and gravy in a box for £5. They also offer a loyalty card on the lunch deal. Once you try a Turners pie nothing else will compare.

The lunch deal is excellant value for money, and is a really tasty meal with the pies freshly cooked.

I had driven past Turners Pies many times and always though that I should try them.

I travelled to Bognor with my 8 year old and had pie and mash in a box on the way there and I bought a family steak pie to cook at home and they were amazing.

Everyone loves a decent pie and you can understand why they won the national pie competition with this one: thin pastry, lovely gravy, perfect meat and offal balance. The sausage rolls are excellent too.

You think you’ve had a pie but if you haven’t had a turners pie you haven’t beautiful meaty Gravy experience which puts a smile on your face

You just have to try these pies from here once tried you will never go anywhere else my favourite is the steak and kidney but they are all lovely they also do a small take away meal which I often have it consists of a pie mashed potato and their delicious gravy talking about the gravy for a small amount you can buy a pot of their gravy I think it uses the juice from the the meat

These pies are a must if you are visiting or live in the area. My favourite is Steak and Ale pie but the Scotch Eggs are to die for aswell.

Excellent tasty pie and mash... not quite the same as London but still very good. Took it home to eat and it was well packed and stayed hot

Turners pies are excellent. As a northerner I cannot believe such good pies are made down south! As good as anything I’ve had. Highly recommended.

I got the lunch deal, pie, mash, peas and gravy. Delicious, I had the Steak and Stilton. The pies are so packed with delicious filling just how they should be. No room for air in there.

Turner's Pies, are simply the best pies ever. I was told about them when I moved here in 78, and they never ever been anything other than superb.

This establishment has restored my faith in pies having experienced the pies from the 60s and 70s eras. A great selection of pies and plenty of other stuff. An example of how a business should be run. They deserve every success.

Superb service. Delivered fifty pies for a charity function locally. All pies were hit and served in card board take away boxes....like a plate , with mushy peas and gravy in separate containers, wooden cutlery provided too. Everyone in attendance raved about them. Hellespont to raise over £1000, excellent service. Highly recommend.

There are no finer pies than Turners. I buy them frequently. Despite the Company''s expansion the pies are as delicious as when they were first made years ago. The fillings are tender and tasty and the pastry is sublime.

I think my husband would have one of their pies every other night if he had the chance. They are one of the highlights of Bognor. Our favourite is certainly the steak and stilton and it makes such an easy delicious meal.

I find turners pies to be very overrated. Its not a restaurant so shouldn't be showing at the top of the restaurant categories. Sausage rolls were very pink and were in my opinion made with a bought in seasoning not a proper homemade recipe. 2 the steak and Stilton pie severely lacked Stilton and 3 the minced beef pie lacked flavour full stop. Although i will say the pastry was very nice.

Turners pies are so good that my sister and her family always requests them when they visit Bognor! But also love them so much that we always buy one to take it up to Leeds when we visit them too! The pies Travel well too!

Had a minced beef pie, steak and stilton pie and sausage roll a while ago and found it was very mediocre. The steak and stilton pie had barely no stilton, the minced beef pie was very very bland and flavourless and the sausage roll was...

It's not a restaurant, it's a bakery. Apart from that the pies really are good, and come in a number of different sizes. The pastry is superb, and the meat quality is very high.

Able to buy Gluten free produce for my wife. Both our pies were vey good. Will be going back for more pies and produce

Turners pies are the best, very full with tender meat, no fat or gristle, pastry so good and no soggy bottoms. We buy these regularly and pop them in the freezer. Highly recommend them. There is a shop in Chichester now and that is the one I go to, more convenient for me. These places are not restaurants as far as I know!

We were told about Turners Pies and how good they were. We tried them a few months ago and were amazed ! They are fantastic ! - and now they are making gluten free pies too.

Beautiful pastry, plenty of choice (meat, fruit, pasties, quiches, their own delicious pork pies, sausage rolls etc) - & a truly family-run firm that supplies HARRODS!! So the standard is very high. We've never been disappointed yet! A bit more expensive than a supermarket but well worth it. Thoroughly recommended. But it is a bakery, NOT a restaurant.

This is the best pie shop in the world and in my office we get lunchtime takeaway pies every Friday from the Rustington shop and they are consistently amazing. Also the staff are lovely and very friendly.

I don't understand why this establishment is listed on here, it's a pie shop not a restaurant or even a café or takeaway!! it's not appropriate and I have written to Tripadvisor as such. The pies are good but don't come here expecting a meal because you won't get one, it is detracting from the real restaurants of BR.

Read about turners pies,but due to snow unable to look for shop.Went into Chichester for day.but shop there closed for refurb.anyway Monday morning our lovely coach driver took us to the Bognor shop,before setting off home.Several members of our party bought some pies.My husband and I had a steak and kidney.and steak and blue cheese.Both pies were delicious,!overly tender meat and me!t in the mouth pastry.Not the cheapest but worth it.Pity we don't live nearer!!
