The best restaurants in South East

We always meet as a trio of friends here as it is central to where we all live. Our usual waitress, Andra, is always so accommodating, professional and friendly at the same time. The food is great and well presented. The menu suits many different tastes and dietary restriction, I.e. vegan options. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, plenty of outdoor space as well.

Walked in to a surly, unsmiling and unwelcoming: “got a bookin’?” Ahem, yes but I wish I’d not bothered. Stuffed into a tiny corner table despite the venue being not even half full. Tables next to us were littered with dirty, used plates, cutlery and glasses. Help yourself cutlery and sauces, had to wipe mine clean, as well as the sticky table. Good points are that there are a lot of options for vegans and vegetarians, and I appreciate that this is a budget brand, but nothing can excuse the mess, unfriendliness and really long wait for food (45 minutes for two vegan burgers and chips). Chips were cold, only a few of them served burger and bun were rubbery (maybe microwaved?) and lacking in salad or anything to add some flavour. Like a bad school dinner. Not the restaurant’s fault but spent most of our visit listening to a toddler screaming as he breakdanced around the floor with no caregivers intervening and seemingly getting drunk. Awful in every way - so many nice pubs in Medway so definitely avoid unless you’re really broke. And if you are I’d recommend a fast food takeaway over this.

Yesterday I ordered food from them and when I eate it, I realized that I have never eaten such a bad meal in my life. And it was also very expensive.

Amazing food and helpful team. Linguine with prawn and chorizo is delicious. We try as well- steak , mushrooms and duck salad😋 for sure we will back again. Thank You guys!

Love the atmosphere, vibe and decor in here. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I had the lighter option vegan pizza my daughter has the kid GF pizza. She didn’t like the kids apple juice as it wasn’t fresh… which is ok and an opinion

The Doner Kebab here is decent. The meat is tender, but the flavor could be more intense. The fresh veggies and sauces are a nice touch, and the portions are generous. Service is fast and friendly. Overall, it’s a good option, though there’s room for improvement in taste.

Really enjoyed Tacos Locos. Food was delicious and filling. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was nice. Cocktails were enjoyable. Look, if you're oooing and arring about coming here, don't. Give it a try! 😋🌯🍹

I went on my own to have some lunch, do some work and enjoy the sunshine. I received a warm welcome on my arrival and was looked after by Gillian. The service was quick and the food was delicious. A small terrace area but a great sun trap for the season. I look forward to going back again.

Amazing building and the food was excellent. Feels a bit like you are in a museum. Best burger I've ever had.
