Overall very good, lovely staff Natasha was great. We had the Christmas dinner if I were to be critical then a little more turkey and a less watery gravy would have been nice.

Tracy cooked us an amazing meal, & Natasha provided excellent service. Really great food & atmosphere makes it brilliant value for money. 10/10

It’s not the best Harvester I’ve been to, and wouldn’t recommend it. On the occasions that I’ve been here, the quality of food hasn’t been great. The salad bar has either been sparse or not very fresh and some of the main dishes haven’t been of good quality. Wait times for service hasn’t been great either. Being seated and ordering was fine, but then trying to ask for the bill, actually getting the bill and paying took ridiculously long - even when it wasn’t very busy anymore.

A wonderful meal, Jess went above and beyond to ensure our party of 10 had everything we needed. The birthday candle in the brownie was a delightful treat.

Where to start....visited on Saturday night with pre-booked table as expected it to be busy. It was busy, and then some. That wouldn't be an issue, however there was a distinct lack of staff on service and I assume in the kitchen. On being seated, we waited approx. 10 minutes for our order to be taken, which given how busy it was, was quite good. Order placed, drinks arrived and off to the salad bar which was horiffic. Absolutely decimated and absolutely filthy. 10 minutes later, no difference and no re-stock. Assumed food would be on its was so remained at the table with increasing hungry and hangry kids. 40 (yes, 40) minutes later our "food" arrived. Chips on 3 meals were luke warm, and on one meal cold. On raising the issue with the server, we were asked if we'd like to keep them or would rather some hot ones. Once hot chips were recieved, consumption of the food ensued. I've never had a cremated gammon steak but this one was black. Plus two solid eggs. Nice. Kids meals were greasy, with forgotten brand. Rather than wait, we decided to eat up, get the kids desserts and leaveOr so we thought. We were subjected to a further wait whist no less than THREE staff members dossed about clearing one small table, including the manager on shift who decided the quickest way to clear the table was to sit down at it to do so while the other two laughed on. In the end, we left our table, paid at the till and left. The final straw was the filthy toilets. One leaking christ knows what all over the toilet floor whilst the other was a filthy, sticky mess. Not one to return to I'm afraid. Yuk!

What a lovely meal and experience this afternoon. Jess looked after us superbly. 40th Birthday party with a couple of rowdy kids, didn’t worry her! She interacted with us all, super patient. Service was on point. Attentive with drinks and taking of orders. Food was wonderful and piping hot. Excellent all round. Thanks Jess!

Had a family meal here. It's nice and cosy.

The waiter was not grate. You don't get plates to put your rolls on. No salt.... The original combo was basically chicken drumstick and the ribs looked like road kill and so small. Then later that night did not feel great.Not going here again

Had a stunning dinner which arrived so quickly our server Becky was so friendly and lovely to chat to she made sure our needs were met, we can be fussy eaters and it was absolutely no hassle to remove things off a certain meal she made us feel really comfortable and made it really easy had no worries at all the food was absolutely amazing my partner got a steak medium rare was cooked exactly how he likes it / asked for, this is our go to restaurant

We had Ella as our server and she was very friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much to ask for. I made a mistake ordering the wrong side for my daughter and asked to get then changed and it was no hassle at all. Thanks to Jordan the chef too for sorting that so quickly! A lovely quick dinner which was needed on a school night.

New menu and I was not impressed with the changes. My friend is gluten intolerant and there really wasn't any choice.

Could not find on menu the roast chicken as it has changed. The food I opted for was standard. The brownie was dry and old. The place was empty and the decor grubby. Other places for same price are much better so will not be returning

Vegetarian Breakfast was great. Service was efficient and friendly.

Unfortunately Harvesters quality control let them down, and they delivered triple chicken with only two pieces of chicken present. Bit of care and attention shouldn’t be hard.

Good food, quick service, friendly servers. Always cold inside though so bring an extra jumper! If you arrive after 8pm the salad bar is not restocked to avoid wastage.

Noisy kids running around. Food was adequate, could do alot better. Stayed at travelodge and went back in morning for breakfast and they were shut till 12 for staff training, same as the weathespoons next door. Not happy.

Went for an early supper with a friend, lovely staff who took my food foibles in stride and gave me exactly what I wanted even though it was not specific to menu. Really welcoming and good value, definitely go back.

The food was OK. The staff is very welcoming, but they were definitely short in people. I had to stand and call the waitress twice to order food.

Well, you would think I would have learnt my lesson after Harvester Whitley, but no, we visited here....I would say the service and food was better than Whitley but these places are starting to look shabby. I remember coming here in the 90s with my sister and it hasn't changed. Just has more dust and cobwebs. Last Harvester for us I'm afraid.

The food was all burnt and hard. The Vegan icecream because there was no real icecream was horrible so it was a good job we could eat the salad! It has put us off coming when we have enjoyed special occasions at Harvesters

I must say the service was excellent, food was hot and well presented. It was very pleasant to be told by a member of staff that there was a 40% discount if we signed up for the app. Top service 👍

Went to 2nd Harvester as we're very busy because of 40%off voucher last day promo lady at entrance said we could use there bar/pub not connected so we did that cosier Ham Farm Eastleigh service was good 👍

Called in Sunday lunchtime. We had no booking but they managed to fit us in. Great food and service.

Low quality but reasonably priced

As a party of 4 we were shown to a table with only 3 seats (chair missing), and food and paper debris under and around the table, asked of another table and sat on immediate next table. Mess was not organised to be cleared, host picked up paper when next group were shown to table 10 min later. Salad bar had no sweetcorn, pasta, or beetroot, and coleslaw was lacking mayo, which also was not available at salad bar, no plates for rolls. With the mains were generally ok except the gravy was very thin, mine was like water, it didn’t coat anything and you could see through it when poured on the plate. This was mentioned to the waitress, and the response was ‘I don’t know why that is’

Food wasn't good, food forgotten on our order, salad bar had no variety. It's a shame, it used to be nice.

We waited for a bit to be seated. Not a problem if we had been acknowledged and then asked to wait but that didn't happen. I asked for a medium rare steak. It took ages to arrive and was very well done. I deliberately didn’t send it back as I didn't want to wait again. The food was dry. Not an experience I will be repeating.

Despite being virtually empty food took over 30 minutes to arrive and had missing items. Food was good however when it arrived.

We came to the harvester late Thursday evening and they managed to fit us in. On entry the first interaction was really good and accommodating. Once we had been seated our waitress Jess looked after us, she was fantastic and really gave us a personal touch. Nothing was to much and kept checking on us through out our time there. She was a real example of what good looks like. Please pass on our comments and deserves some recognition.

Always enjoyed coming to a Harvester but this visit will be my last now, although the staff did their best, the food including the salad bar was stale and poor quality, it was actually reminiscent of bland school dinners. The place is shabby and tired, and we were left wondering if Harvester’s days are numbered

Staff were quite pleasant, and food was as expected. The place is a bit run down and badly in need of renovation.

Went for breakfast. Took ages to get our food even though it was just pancakes and waffles. When it came, the food was barely luke warm. Won't be having breakfast there again.

Went today at 3.30 ish....restaurant wash rooms out of service, salad bar poor, chicken over cooked and dry, jacket hard & luke warm! Chips obviously been cooked and left under hot light for re service, when needed, corn cold! This harvester is going down hill! Shame as normally nice. Chefs definitely need re training in how to use a probe! & not over cook chicken!

Staff on Saturday so lazy & rude, the place was empty , no wonder. Manager was worse than the staff. I had a good experience on Thurs, so I returned on Saturday .... BIG MISTAKE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Food wasn't as good as it has been toilets were in a bad state no toilet rolls in the ladies and rubbish on the floor.

First time visit was quiet, dining area clean and open food was good and service was fine, just a pity the toilets were out of order.

Food was very nice, service was very good, but restaurant does require a massive revamp as its looking tired with ripped seats, lights held in with tape etc.

The food was below average and quite tasteless and very expensive for what it is. The service was quite slow and things were missing off the salad bar or very slow to fill up. The restaurant wasn’t full so they shouldn’t have been rushed off their feet considering there were 3 people waiting at the door when I stepped in. To be honest for the prices we won’t be going back as the quality is much better at other pubs such as Greene Kings which are about the same or cheaper. The restaurant is also a little shabby around the edges and can do with a lick of paint.

I've enjoyed dining here previously, but it wasn't a great experience today. Some elements of our main course had clearly been hanging around for a while and was cold and unpalatable. Service was sluggish and the smell from the toilets was foul. I should have phoned environmental health really, but didn't think of it at the time...

We ordered starters and mains plus kids meal, it was all very nice and we were full when leaving.

Freya and Jim the chef smashed it. Didn’t have my first choice of food but were very patient and accommodating. Nothing bad to say so 5* it is.

First to arrive, ordered our drinks to recive a HOT ICED LATT’E, ordered our food where we got missing items, they then turned up as we finished our food, eggs were snotty, butter was liquid, no service asking if we were happy with our food, no communication for drink top ups, toilets were beyond disgusting

My husband and I went with his parents for lunch we ordered off the lunch menu, Our stepfather had soup for starter then after about 30 to 40 minutes we had to ask where our mains were,the scampi and chips were tasty but we ordered peas aswell which were not on the plate. my husband had garlic bread with his food which was stale and bland, his burger were overcooked and dry the chips seemed not too good. My stepfather meal of chicken and jacket potato was not as good as it could have been

Unfortunately, the last 3 times I have visited, I have not felt welcomed. Plenty of other places that serve great food and are friendlier.

Quick service from polite, friendly and welcoming staff. Food cooked and served quickly, all very enjoyable. Overall a great evening meal.

This Harvester needs a good renovation carpets need a good clean. The food is ok but why put things on the plate which you can get from the salad bar. Also cold and watery corn on the cob. This is not value for money. A-lot of improvement before i come back.

Just had a lovely evening at Ham Farm. Good food and friendly staff. The one small gripe I could make is the toilets could do with a little spruce and a check on paper levels. Other than all 7 of us had great meals at reasonable prices in a warm friendly atmosphere . Well done to all the staff.

Ella was very friendly and there when needed. Although she mentioned she was new to the team, no doubt will be a great addition.

Place is awful, staff awful!! Food sub-standard...arrive to the bar tender saying don't order food now (30 mins before close) as the kitchen won't put effort into your food...came over 10 min before last orders demanding we be done in 10 mins as pub shuts at 9...after asking for manager and showing it's clearly labelled online as food till 9 and shuts at 10 she discloses that she has had numerous issues with this member of staff and that 'she's not his mum' to teach him to be otherwise.....awful awful awful

Starting with positives. We visited 1430 on a Tuesday so very quiet. Staff friendly and service relatively prompt. Food arrived on piping hot plates a must for me. Food is basic and not that imaginative. Roast chicken cooked well and succulent. Ribs short of meat and not very tasty. Chips nothing special and sweet corn over cooked and needs swapping for peas or something. No veggies so make sure you take advantage of salad bar. Veggie burger passable as actually veggie not plant burger pretending to be meat. Fish and chips okay but not a lot of fish in the fillet. Chicken stack okay choice although chicken coujons bit like shaped chicken nuggets. Over all okay but not great. To the complaints. The prices are expensive for what it was but then we had a 40% off mains voucher which made the meal VFM, would be really disappointed if I had paid full price. The worst thing about the place is how grubby it is. Don't look at the carpet and guys clean the menus or change them more regularly. I gave mine back as it stuck to my fingers it was so sticky, with food I guess. Went with my 90+ in-laws and they used the disabled toilet which had a floor running in water. Overall probably should have dug deeper, spent more and gone elsewhere but was attracted by the 40% off. 4 main meals and 4 soft drinks with tip was £59 but won't be back again for a while. Much prefer Solent Marina Harvester or Durley Chine for it's location. Food no different there but view is better.

Food served cold as staff stood around talking while food when cold stood on the pass. Food sent back so they reheated it steak was then over cooked and charred on top salad was thrown away while back in the kitchen which meant a second visit to salad bar while food when cold again.

Expensive for what is was. Food cooked but tough. Chicken should be tender but I couldn't eat it. Dirty glasses and cutlery. Hard rolls and salad bar not very fresh.

Had an amazing time yesterday for a family birthday🎉. The food was absolutely amazing and no one left a thing. Cooked to perfection is an understatement. Even made a few changes for us without hesitation. The staff was absolutely on top form. We had an emergency whilst there and staff all pulled together to make it feel like we was at home. The shift manager Ethan needs a special recommendation for helping us from incident to ambulance. Nothing was too much trouble. His floor staff was equally as impressive and needs a special thank you too. We have always enjoyed this site and after how their service made us feel, we will only come here from now on. Beautiful food great atmosphere and can't wait to return. Head boss please take note. You had an amazing team that night and they all deserve recognition please. £8.49 - a very small serving- you can judge the size of everything, comparing to the portions of butter! Wouldn’t exchange hash browns for a mushroom. Won’t make any swaps on a set breakfast! Why?! Noisy Kids running up and down. Won’t return.
