We dined here for a meal with parents and I would definitely be back. The food was all cooked well and tasty, as always in a Harvester I love the salad bar which was kept topped up and fresh. Best part was the service we had from Jess, she was attentive and friendly. She's an asset to the restaurant and we will be back!

Went to the Harvester Ham Farm for dinner and had a lovely time as always. The food was amazing, the atmosphere and the staff were incredible. It was a packed Saturday evening and all the staff were still smiling and doing an amazing job. Especially Danny I think her name was, she was joyful, kept checking on us, and really made my family evening.

Needs more care with the quality of the salad bar The coleslaw was poor quality The potato salad was poor quality budget brand The pasta was not good My burger w Seemed like it was over cooked or left in a warming too long Despite these issues the rest of are group seemed to have good food There needs to be more care on quality rather than than fast food

Danni and Ella were amazing and sang beautifully to my husband as it was his birthday Danni was friendly lovely and really helpful highly recommend she was amazing.

The service was lovely, the server, Dannii, was very patient and informative when asked for guidance on allergen information and the chef, Joe, did a wonderful job in delivering tasty food in a timely manner. I had a reasonably poor meal at the Harvester by the Swan centre in Eastleigh a year ago and this has followed on from it. A party of ten people and 40% of them either never ate the meal, had an issue with it or just never rated it. Some of the meats were chewy ie the ribs, the chicken was dry and you can get a better burger at Burger King for cheaper. The waitress was good and took meals off of the final bill, so in reality the Harvester chain of restaurants actually let's its staff down and not the other way around. Thank Goodness for a 20% off code because it's not worth the money. The parking here is awful as well, the spaces are so tight you could certainly end up with door dings on your car, people struggle getting in and out of their cars This Harvester (Ham Farm) used to be amazing when we were kids but I don't think I could step foot in another Harvester ever again after my last two visits to two different restaurants within 2 miles of each other. Something has gone really wrong with Harvester over the years and it's a shame as they were really good many years ago. For the money you can certainly get alot better elsewhere.

Just another chain reasonable quality quite expensive. Need to book in an evening or you will be turned away.

Visited at 11.45am and to say it was disappointing is an understatement. How can you serve up old reheated chips this time of the day is shameful. The service was basic literally take the order then you don't see anyone.Had to take my complaint to the bar for some one to deal with. Had to ask for the bill at the front door!!. I appreciate the building is old but the standard of cleanliness is disgraceful. The quality of food was second rate.The single blackened mushroom top is just not worth the effort.Leave it off but offer mushrooms as a side. The 1/2 rack of ribs were literally on a plate alone no garnish,no finger bowl nothing. Used to visit a lot but now it's off my list

Went to Harvester today about 16;00.Lady at desk made us very welcome. We were seated not far from toilets door left open so our view was people in and out of toilets. Drink and salad perfect. When main meal arrived my chips were cold as was my meat, i went and got a member of staff who came over,on checking my wifes meal that was cold. Member of staff was so apologetic and said fresh meals would be cooked. The lady took meals away ,came back and said yours will be a priority. My wife went to the ladies whilst she was gone our meals were brought back by one of the girls. I said to her they are not fresh meals to which she said i dont know, with that a gentleman came over and said i have probed them and they are hot enough. Again i said they are not fresh meals ,return of meals was all within five minutes ,no way can tomahawk steaks can be cooked properly in that time. With that the gentleman said just leave. At that point my wife returned and i told her i had been told to leave. I offered to pay for drinks and salad and was told no. What a way to treat customers ,absolutely disgusting.

Very happy with visit clean and helpful staff. Louise greeted us with a huge happy smile and showed us all the specials that were available . Dannii our server was outstanding, very informative about the menus and what was available . Food ordered , salad bar visited ,drinks poured we waited for our main to arrive . This did not disappoint either , food piping hot and presented very well , thank you to the chef Luke for our lovely meal . Will definitely return thanks Ham Farm . 😊

The question is would I go back again and the answer is yes, service was good despite it being a busy lunchtime, food was good... All in all it was cool

Had the mixed grill which was awful. The steak, which should have been medium rare was extremely well done and the most chewy steak I've ever had. The gamon was so small it may as well not been there. The pot of peas were cold and the tomato, well I don't know what happened to the tomato slice, I couldn't even cut it up.

A delightful impromptu visit to our favourite Harvester, louise our waitress was very helpful at ensuring our meal was exactly as we liked and a thank you to our chefs Tracy and Sky for cooking my meal especially as I like.

Came for lunch, this Sunday. Alissia was our server and ivanna the chef. Very busy but very quick and attentive service. Alissia had a big smile on her face despite our lots of requests. Food was lovely, thank you harvester.

Me and my family came out for something to eat. Our whole experience is thanks to our Waitress, Alissia. She was polite, quick with her service and was very professional. The food was divine and the liveliness of a Saturday night was great to see. We will be back again very soon

I had dinner with my family here last night while on holiday, Our server was Becky, she was absolutely amazing, she was very friendly and gave good advice on a nice walk to go on. The food was a 10 out of 10, it was cooked to perfection, compliments to our chef, Luke.

I had a lovely server called Alex F and he was very friendly and welcoming. The food was lovely from chef Alex.

Fabulous food cooked by Luke and Becky looked after our every need at the table. This is our 4th visit and would recommend the venue to all. The service was excellent this evening.

Absolutely brilliant food, the service, unmatched, Elisha treated me like a valied customer even though it was my first time there, the chicken skewers which was i believe cooked by Alex was spectacular and mouth watering. Will definitely visit again.

Our main course arrived as we'd just started our salad bowl. So annoying to be rushed and obviously done so you don't have time to visit the salad cart again for "unlimited' salad. There are lots of offers on food dotted about but these are never made clear. The food is quite good - it is what it is - and is good value IF you can find the offers in house or online.

Cannot believe it is still open. Dirty, beer taste horrible and salad bar crap. Biggest regret since visiting Southampton this week.

FROZEN VEG ! I came here on the 17th and my gosh the standards gone down . I got the simply chicken only part of it was kinda good was the chicken . The chips were cold and my FROZEN VEG was still cold . I bit into one Broccoli and it was still frozen. The peas were mush. This saddens me a lot as I used to come here a bit but now I’m very put off. Besides this the pudding was nice and this is why I am giving 3 stars if it wasn’t for the pudding I would give 1 maybe 2!

Typical harvester, although service can be lacking due to the busyness and the food often comes out either cold or incorrect and needs to be sent back.

Me and my friend had a lovely lunch here today with the kids for an inset day treat. Our server was Becky and she had really good knowledge of the menu, she was also really good with the children. The food arrived quickly and was very yummy. The salad bar was well stocked.

Such an amazing place to go, I've gone here since I was little and always still will. Always amazing hot food served by Joe and Danni who waited on our table is so lovely, and easy to talk to ☺️

Falling standards. Had the two course lunchtime meal offer, which was not worth the cost even at the lower price. Food was noticeably not as good as our last visit, in fact left some uneaten.

Ate this evening at around 7:30. Staff were lovely especially Dannii. She was funny, attentive and great at her job. I had the BBQ Stack which was delicious (thank you to the chef Luke) and a Rocky Horror Waffle for desert. Great place to eat and it’s always nice to visit.

Staff are lovely along with the food, they were very much on top of checking if you needed anything and checking how everything was! Always come to this one!

Regular visitor to Harvesters so know what to expect. Everything was fine and I was impressed with the choices at the salad bar. Despite being a busy time with 2 family celebrations in the restaurant the staff were quick to serve us and our meals came out promptly.

A lovely place next to the river Itchen. We were served by Louise, who went to great lengths to help my daughter choose a good off-menu meal because of her lactose intolerance. The food was excellent thanks to your highly talented chef Tracy, and it was brought to our table with very little delay. Special thanks to all the staff, especially Louise and Tracy!

Always a great welcome at Harvester Ham Farm. Staff are so lovely and hardworking here, but somehow manage to look after you throughout your visit. Food has consistently been excellent on each visit... the salad bar is fantastic and a big hit with me.

Been here a few times for multiple occasions the food and service is always good and never have complaints. Danni was our server today and was very attentive. The food cooked by the chef Henry was of a good standard as always. Thank you for another nice meal.

The food quality was very poor this evening, which was a shock. Bread rolls in salad bar was stale, missing various items. The child’s brownie was so hard it couldn’t be eaten and when complained, this wasn’t taken off the bill. Usually we have a great time when we visit and are regular visitors but this really put us off returning again.

Cooking food in contaminated peanut oil. Not chefs fault they are doing what they are told to do. It is powers above. Lots of food now containing peanut not very well labelled up for nut allergy's. As for the management in the restaurant don't get me wrong they done what they could to accommodate but the pen pushers need to realise what they are doing. Please note this is not based at the restaurant but at the higher above. People that think that they know what they doing people that only see the pound signs. As for portion sizes well what can I say they are for people on a serious diet.

It was a great experience, brought the whole family out. We had a fantastic time. The service was very very good from Lilly she was amazing and I am so glad she was there. I have had a great evening
