Louise gave us amazing service great smile had ultimate breakfast but black Pudding was very small and dry

Had fabulous service from Dannii and Louise very helpful answering all our questions regarding menu and received lovely hot food cooked by Jordan

Very happy with visit clean and helpful staff. Louise greeted us with a huge happy smile and showed us all the specials that were available . Dannii our server was outstanding, very informative about the menus and what was available . Food ordered , salad bar visited ,drinks poured we waited for our main to arrive . This did not disappoint either , food piping hot and presented very well , thank you to the chef Luke for our lovely meal . Will definitely return thanks Ham Farm . 😊

A delightful impromptu visit to our favourite Harvester, louise our waitress was very helpful at ensuring our meal was exactly as we liked and a thank you to our chefs Tracy and Sky for cooking my meal especially as I like.

Had the mixed grill which was awful. The steak, which should have been medium rare was extremely well done and the most chewy steak I've ever had. The gamon was so small it may as well not been there. The pot of peas were cold and the tomato, well I don't know what happened to the tomato slice, I couldn't even cut it up.

Our host alissia was lovely and talkative she was very nice and we enjoyed our experience

Came for lunch, this Sunday. Alissia was our server and ivanna the chef. Very busy but very quick and attentive service. Alissia had a big smile on her face despite our lots of requests. Food was lovely, thank you harvester.

Me and my family came out for something to eat. Our whole experience is thanks to our Waitress, Alissia. She was polite, quick with her service and was very professional. The food was divine and the liveliness of a Saturday night was great to see. We will be back again very soon

I had dinner with my family here last night while on holiday, Our server was Becky, she was absolutely amazing, she was very friendly and gave good advice on a nice walk to go on. The food was a 10 out of 10, it was cooked to perfection, compliments to our chef, Luke.

I had a lovely server called Alex F and he was very friendly and welcoming. The food was lovely from chef Alex.

Great lunch with fresh and hot food

Fabulous food cooked by Luke and Becky looked after our every need at the table. This is our 4th visit and would recommend the venue to all. The service was excellent this evening.

Absolutely brilliant food, the service, unmatched, Elisha treated me like a valied customer even though it was my first time there, the chicken skewers which was i believe cooked by Alex was spectacular and mouth watering. Will definitely visit again.

Our main course arrived as we'd just started our salad bowl. So annoying to be rushed and obviously done so you don't have time to visit the salad cart again for "unlimited' salad. There are lots of offers on food dotted about but these are never made clear. The food is quite good - it is what it is - and is good value IF you can find the offers in house or online.

FROZEN VEG ! I came here on the 17th and my gosh the standards gone down . I got the simply chicken only part of it was kinda good was the chicken . The chips were cold and my FROZEN VEG was still cold . I bit into one Broccoli and it was still frozen. The peas were mush. This saddens me a lot as I used to come here a bit but now I’m very put off. Besides this the pudding was nice and this is why I am giving 3 stars if it wasn’t for the pudding I would give 1 maybe 2!

Lack of accessible parking, I struggled to find any space at all let alone an accessible one. Such a shame as the food and service was excellent.

Typical harvester, although service can be lacking due to the busyness and the food often comes out either cold or incorrect and needs to be sent back.

Me and my friend had a lovely lunch here today with the kids for an inset day treat. Our server was Becky and she had really good knowledge of the menu, she was also really good with the children. The food arrived quickly and was very yummy. The salad bar was well stocked.

Such an amazing place to go, I've gone here since I was little and always still will. Always amazing hot food served by Joe and Danni who waited on our table is so lovely, and easy to talk to ☺️

Falling standards. Had the two course lunchtime meal offer, which was not worth the cost even at the lower price. Food was noticeably not as good as our last visit, in fact left some uneaten.

Ate this evening at around 7:30. Staff were lovely especially Dannii. She was funny, attentive and great at her job. I had the BBQ Stack which was delicious (thank you to the chef Luke) and a Rocky Horror Waffle for desert. Great place to eat and it’s always nice to visit.

Staff are lovely along with the food, they were very much on top of checking if you needed anything and checking how everything was! Always come to this one!

Regular visitor to Harvesters so know what to expect. Everything was fine and I was impressed with the choices at the salad bar. Despite being a busy time with 2 family celebrations in the restaurant the staff were quick to serve us and our meals came out promptly.

Becky our server was fantastic. Couldn't have asked for more. She went above and beyond. Such a wonderful service. Food from chef Joe was fab.

A lovely place next to the river Itchen. We were served by Louise, who went to great lengths to help my daughter choose a good off-menu meal because of her lactose intolerance. The food was excellent thanks to your highly talented chef Tracy, and it was brought to our table with very little delay. Special thanks to all the staff, especially Louise and Tracy!

Always a great welcome at Harvester Ham Farm. Staff are so lovely and hardworking here, but somehow manage to look after you throughout your visit. Food has consistently been excellent on each visit... the salad bar is fantastic and a big hit with me.

Been here a few times for multiple occasions the food and service is always good and never have complaints. Danni was our server today and was very attentive. The food cooked by the chef Henry was of a good standard as always. Thank you for another nice meal.

Only called for a drink with friends

Cooking food in contaminated peanut oil. Not chefs fault they are doing what they are told to do. It is powers above. Lots of food now containing peanut not very well labelled up for nut allergy's. As for the management in the restaurant don't get me wrong they done what they could to accommodate but the pen pushers need to realise what they are doing. Please note this is not based at the restaurant but at the higher above. People that think that they know what they doing people that only see the pound signs. As for portion sizes well what can I say they are for people on a serious diet.

The food quality was very poor this evening, which was a shock. Bread rolls in salad bar was stale, missing various items. The child’s brownie was so hard it couldn’t be eaten and when complained, this wasn’t taken off the bill. Usually we have a great time when we visit and are regular visitors but this really put us off returning again.

It was a great experience, brought the whole family out. We had a fantastic time. The service was very very good from Lilly she was amazing and I am so glad she was there. I have had a great evening

Very lovely server named Steph who made us feel instantly welcome and comfortable. Very quick service and nothing to much trouble! Hats off to the chef Luke! The food was absolutely amazing not that we could finish it all! Tale away box was provided without judgement so dinner sorted for later or another day. Salad bar was very fresh aswell with lots to offer. Lovely bread rolls! Would recommend and come back a million times over!

Pheasant delivery food was hot all lovely to eat can’t fault anything

Jess was our waitress this afternoon, she was super lovely, even though it was busy she was polite and cheerful. As a sauce in our order was unavailable, she offered an alternative sauce which was very similar, she was just a delight to talk to. When we were ready to pay, she asked if we had any vouchers, as I pulled it out she didn't hesitate to say that there's a better voucher on the app, thank you for being so lovely Jess! 😊

Absolutely gutted. My family and I was booked here for my birthday meal I was super looking forward too. Unfortunately it was by far the worse experience for harvester to date. The food was disgusting the waiter was not happy to help when we had an issue with all four meals. I was standing at the salad bar for 15 mins to be told there was no beetroot and another salad. Eventually went to the manager which I have never done before but as this had just ruined my birthday I was livid. There was no compassion from staff and I will under no circumstances be ever going back here and will definitely not recommend coming here either. Harvester you have truly let yourselves down big time. You need to sort the management out it was appalling service from start to end.

I’m a little late writing this review but I have found time to write it now and really think it should be mentioned. On the 10th Dec 2024 I came for breakfast with my friend to catch up before I had to go into work. Our table was booked for 9am. We came to the door at 9am and it was locked. There was a lady called Steph who was behind the counter who clocked us but was ignoring us. We tried to get her attention but to no avail. A waitress then comes running upto the door all flustered called Louise apologising for the door not being open. I asked if she was okay and she said she was caught in traffic after school drop off by this time it’s 9.05am. We sat down at our table and felt really uncomfortable and felt like we were an inconvenience. We had to order soon and Louise was tending to all her customers with a smile and literally getting on with her job and apologising to everyone who was kept waiting. I was astonished to learn when I asked who was the lady behind the desk ignoring us all only to be the manager! She was rude ignoring us and unhelpful to Louise who clearly needed help and was making the apologise for late open. Louise is an A+ waitress and performed professionally along with her chef Tracy who served up a lovely breakfast. I think Steph could do with some more training maybe?

Waited half an hour for food (it was busy) sausage was burnt burger was burnt food in kitchen floor and staff walked past it normally the service in here is good but today’s experience was awful

Not the best experiences unfortunately was stood waiting for 5 minutes at the door before anyone came to see us then was told they would need 15 minutes to clear a table. So we sat in the pub where the toilet was leaking all over the floor and a massive fan blowing in the corner. After 15 minutes we went back over to wait another 5 minutes before being seated. Not sure why we waiting so long as the place was empty apart for 5 tables. Salad bar was empty, food over cooked and service took way to long.

Very good food and good variety of dishes

Although we have eaten here before, our recent visit at 5pm 13/1 was awful, the food was ok but the service was appalling our main meals were being bought out but still no drinks even after asking for them twice, in the end had to go up to the bar and get them myself. Salad cart not the best items missing. Don't think I will be going back again.

Went to the Ham Farm for a birthday celebration. Allyssa and colleagues provided a warm welcome and made a lovely dinner really special. The service was brilliant throughout the evening from the salad bar through to the birthday wishes. Allyssa made us feel special throughout and made a lovely end to a fab day. Food was well cooked. We had no issues with availability from the menu. Portions a good size on both child and adult menus. Good value for money. We've been back again and once more it's the staff that make this place. Thanks this time to Jess for the great friendly service!
