Quick service from polite, friendly and welcoming staff. Food cooked and served quickly, all very enjoyable. Overall a great evening meal.

Unfortunately, the last 3 times I have visited, I have not felt welcomed. Plenty of other places that serve great food and are friendlier.

My husband and I went with his parents for lunch we ordered off the lunch menu, Our stepfather had soup for starter then after about 30 to 40 minutes we had to ask where our mains were,the scampi and chips were tasty but we ordered peas aswell which were not on the plate. my husband had garlic bread with his food which was stale and bland, his burger were overcooked and dry the chips seemed not too good. My stepfather meal of chicken and jacket potato was not as good as it could have been

This Harvester needs a good renovation carpets need a good clean. The food is ok but why put things on the plate which you can get from the salad bar. Also cold and watery corn on the cob. This is not value for money. A-lot of improvement before i come back.

Ella was very friendly and there when needed. Although she mentioned she was new to the team, no doubt will be a great addition.

Just had a lovely evening at Ham Farm. Good food and friendly staff. The one small gripe I could make is the toilets could do with a little spruce and a check on paper levels. Other than all 7 of us had great meals at reasonable prices in a warm friendly atmosphere . Well done to all the staff.

Been a few times lately, Sat in the garden and had some lunch, Then a walk down by the river. Very nice

Place is awful, staff awful!! Food sub-standard...arrive to the bar tender saying don't order food now (30 mins before close) as the kitchen won't put effort into your food...came over 10 min before last orders demanding we be done in 10 mins as pub shuts at 9...after asking for manager and showing it's clearly labelled online as food till 9 and shuts at 10 she discloses that she has had numerous issues with this member of staff and that 'she's not his mum' to teach him to be otherwise.....awful awful awful

Starting with positives. We visited 1430 on a Tuesday so very quiet. Staff friendly and service relatively prompt. Food arrived on piping hot plates a must for me. Food is basic and not that imaginative. Roast chicken cooked well and succulent. Ribs short of meat and not very tasty. Chips nothing special and sweet corn over cooked and needs swapping for peas or something. No veggies so make sure you take advantage of salad bar. Veggie burger passable as actually veggie not plant burger pretending to be meat. Fish and chips okay but not a lot of fish in the fillet. Chicken stack okay choice although chicken coujons bit like shaped chicken nuggets. Over all okay but not great. To the complaints. The prices are expensive for what it was but then we had a 40% off mains voucher which made the meal VFM, would be really disappointed if I had paid full price. The worst thing about the place is how grubby it is. Don't look at the carpet and guys clean the menus or change them more regularly. I gave mine back as it stuck to my fingers it was so sticky, with food I guess. Went with my 90+ in-laws and they used the disabled toilet which had a floor running in water. Overall probably should have dug deeper, spent more and gone elsewhere but was attracted by the 40% off. 4 main meals and 4 soft drinks with tip was £59 but won't be back again for a while. Much prefer Solent Marina Harvester or Durley Chine for it's location. Food no different there but view is better.

Food served cold as staff stood around talking while food when cold stood on the pass. Food sent back so they reheated it steak was then over cooked and charred on top salad was thrown away while back in the kitchen which meant a second visit to salad bar while food when cold again.

AJ was amazing, although two staff members down he had a positive attitude and made our trip enjoyable. Service was fast and food was good.

Expensive for what is was. Food cooked but tough. Chicken should be tender but I couldn't eat it. Dirty glasses and cutlery. Hard rolls and salad bar not very fresh.

Had an amazing time yesterday for a family birthday🎉. The food was absolutely amazing and no one left a thing. Cooked to perfection is an understatement. Even made a few changes for us without hesitation. The staff was absolutely on top form. We had an emergency whilst there and staff all pulled together to make it feel like we was at home. The shift manager Ethan needs a special recommendation for helping us from incident to ambulance. Nothing was too much trouble. His floor staff was equally as impressive and needs a special thank you too. We have always enjoyed this site and after how their service made us feel, we will only come here from now on. Beautiful food great atmosphere and can't wait to return. Head boss please take note. You had an amazing team that night and they all deserve recognition please. £8.49 - a very small serving- you can judge the size of everything, comparing to the portions of butter! Wouldn’t exchange hash browns for a mushroom. Won’t make any swaps on a set breakfast! Why?! Noisy Kids running up and down. Won’t return.

Location and service are good, food was underwhelming. Rotisserie chicken was baby chicken and the chips aren't a good portion.

Great meal and excellent service

Alex in the pub was great on Friday night. The pub was very busy and the garden was full and he was on his own serving and trying to collect glasses. He kept his cool even though he had no help from the staff over in the restaurant. Extremely good service.

Went to the Ham Farm for a birthday celebration. Allyssa and colleagues provided a warm welcome and made a lovely dinner really special. The service was brilliant throughout the evening from the salad bar through to the birthday wishes. Allyssa made us feel special throughout and made a lovely end to a fab day. Food was well cooked. We had no issues with availability from the menu. Portions a good size on both child and adult menus. Good value for money. We've been back again and once more it's the staff that make this place. Thanks this time to Jess for the great friendly service!

Great steak lunch the steak was cooked to perfection thanks to Jon the chef Service from Louise very pleasant and helpful

Under our table was filthy, it hadn't been cleaned from the previous customers, there was napkins, food etc under there.The whole restaurant wasn't very clean. Food was very average.

Food was great as always, sadly we visited when the fizzy drinks dispenser was out of order, as we wanted the refillable ones we asked if we could have them from the bar to be told no, this resulted in extra costs for drinks. Also there seemed to be staff shortages as the one server on this day was everywhere which resulted in a long wait for clearing and deserts

Rude argumentative staff wrong food brought to table twice then when food arrived it was horrible

No salad was included. Although it was free was one of the reasons we ordered in the first place.

Next to the Travel Lodge, wheelchair friendly, friendly staff, reasonably priced food.

Arrived at 5.50pm told completely booked till 8pm. Returned to car booked a table for 6.15 instantly. Obviously not interested in taking any business. Avoid like the plague

We visited Ham Farm for a birthday lunch treat and glad we did. Although we had booked a table, being mid week, we were seated staright away. Had a lovely salad and drinks before ordering our meal and never felt rushed. Service was really good and would highly reccomend.

Haven't been here for a while now but glad I did, service spot on, food very good all reasonable prices. Definitely recommend thank you.

The service was fab , I Just don't appreciate the food anymore , I went for simply chicken , the chicken was lovely, the peas were hard , the sweet potato fries were soft . Salad bar was great and fully stocked. I just think £12.99 for simply chicken is alot.

First Off Looked forward to it. I Ordered a Burger and was Dissapointed. Waitress was sorry for putting the wrong order in. It came which was great and was nice. I wouldn't go back anytime soon to order a burger would have something else instead. Didn't have any Onion rings inside and yes there was just 1 finally slice onion it but wasn't a onion ring. Overall I was Dissapointed and price was a let down and it just didnt feel fresh as the first burger that came and chips. If I had something else I would proberly enjoyed it more and this wouldn't of happened. Felt awkward as well. One thing I would highly recommended the Salad Bar though and Though would recommended their Sundaes even though I didn't have one.

We love coming here, not only for the chicken which is always cooked to perfection but for the customer service. From one lady especially who we’ve formed a little bond with and she knows us now when we come in and we have a joke about “who’s driving today” because whoever isn’t always orders cocktails!

Went for my daughter's birthday dinner (Her choice of venue) Absolutely shocking. Waited nearly half an hour after being seated for someone to take a drinks order. I appreciate it was a Friday evening and pretty busy, probably because most of the indigenous pondlife from Eastleigh were spending their benefits, it doesn't excuse the poor service. The food arrived and I have never seen such poor presentation. I had about six peas, what I can only assume was part of a tomato and two of the saddest looking mushrooms in the northern hemisphere. Just bloody awful!!

The presentation, quantity, and quality (taste) of the food certainly did not do justice to the hugely increased price. The tab total (4 people) was a shock considering 1 soft drink and main meal. Have always loved going to The Harvester (Ham Farm), really enjoy the salads but will sadly not be going back. Very disappointed.

Food was good and the lady that took us to our seat was good but the young man that was serving us was not good...because we called him but just went pass without attending to us...so, we had to pay at the front desk...he wasn't very helpful at all.

Really good service - good menu. For gluten free you need to use a separate app which is a bit of a pain - I prefer it to be actually on the menu.

Food & service was good, but the ladies toilets need a good refurbishment they are not nice.

Was absolutely amazing louise got us seating and was really cherpy and had a smile on her face the whole time. Lia served us and was lovely especially cus my partner has a dairy allergy and she was very accommodating with answering all are questions and querys and as always compliments to Jim the chef food was to die for. Really good experience recommended for all thanku Louise and Liax

Nice place with country vibes and very friendly service. The salad bar is a little less manic than some harvesters I have been to. It was a lovely place for a family meal to celebrate a mothers day.

Salad bar was ok, chicken and ribs were cold ,sweetcorn was like eating a sponge ,chips cold and gravy had a skin on it ,being British we didn't complain ,service was fine

Easy place to eat out and the prices are very realistic. Honest plate for an honest price and who doesn't love the salad bar.

Restaurant was full. I just needed a meal for one after working locally and they let me eat and order in the pub next week. Really quick and friendly service. Delicious food and they let me adapt my menu.

Decided to have a quick lunch here. The atmosphere was good. There are lots of options to choose from 😊. Our meal was great, plus a mixture of chips and a soft drink.

Venue shabby, seems dark & dingy. Shown to table poor lighting, both chairs had half seat missing, looked like someone had eaten foam cushion. The waiter changed them, reluctantly. As I sat down, I realized I was sat alongside of a red-hot radiator, hot enough to burn. We were reseated & the two windows adjacent the blinds were broken . The salad bar was repetitive . The main meals were poor.

The entrance has a lot of rotting wood, some of the chairs need to be put in a skip, one of the window blinds was half hanging off the wall, food was ok, no hand wipes for the ribs. Service was very good but won't be rushing back.

I think the server was called tash but she had a name badge on that said trainee. She did a great job and wasn't intrusive as I was on my own but still attentive

First time in years that I have dined there. Based on this last visit I would not come back. The food was less than mediocre. It was luke warm when served. The steak was chewy!

Was ignored a few times. Staff looked overwhelmed and acted like we were bothering them when needed basic service. Long wait between each service. Didn’t enjoy our experience at all

Food was great and so was the service. The cold emanating from the window was ridiculous. It was freezing which resulted in a very uncomfortable experience and a meal that got stone cold half way through.

Service was pleasant when finally our table was attended to. But waiting each time a good 10 minutes between each service step made the meal pretty intolerable. Cooking was quite good in fairness but when we thought to speak with a manager/supervisor at the end we saw little point when they were huddled with the staff ignoring customers as well. Really something you should address as your price point is hardly fast food cheap, so make sure your 6 staff are actually doing something.

Had 2 poor visits at local Ham farm Eastleigh. But this time was amazing. Had a warm welcome. The waitress couldn't do enough for us and food was amazing. I do slimming world so simply chicken was absolutely lovely. Had a goodbye and thank you for coming as well. Makes all the difference. Thank you

Went for dinner a few weeks ago, got sat near the toilets which the door was broken so would stay open and that cutlery was dirty. I contacted the next day to mention this and firstly wasn't responded to, so a week later or so I messaged again which was met with a very quick and poorly spelt short reply saying thanks for the message. Just not great customer service

Very poor service, had to get attention from waitress each time we needed: drinks/menu/ bill. Not once did she ask if we had food allergies. She enjoyed her time chatting to a colleague at the bar rather than see to any customers

Harvester! Get your area manager out there to have a look, especially on a Saturday! Service was appalling, table wasn't ready when we arrived at the booked time, waitress where not bothered and more interested in talking to each other. Food wasn't up to scratch. Quarter of chicken consisted of half a breast piece???? At the end of it, I could have walked out and not paid due to a lack of attentiveness from staff. I should now, that I think of it. Terrible.

The food was lovely and was happy with it. However are so called "server" ethan let down our whole experience. Felt as if we were ignored by him while watching him happily serve all the other customers around us. If it wasn't for chloe taking our order I don't think we would have been served or at least us waiting for a very long time. A few comments made by him and him laughing at the end when we expressed our opinion. Very dispointing and unprofessional. There was a group of ladies beside us which he had plenty of time to lean around their table and chat to them even making the a desert that wasn't on the menu. We didn't get the time of day. Even telling us he isn't ignoring us... I'd come back but would not want to be served by him
