The best restaurants in South East

Went out for lunch with some friends and tried the Set with Chicken katsu, sweet chilli chicken and salmon! Super tasty. Fried chicken wasn’t dry at all and the aloe drinks we got were tasty as well. Staff were friendly despite it being extremely busy with school kids went we went!

There are some staff with pride in their job and who offer great service with a smile. Unfortunately, more often than not, one is greeted with rubbish on dirty paving and a grubby entrance carpet with grubby furniture ( crumbs &dirt collected along back of seats), unwiped tables and dust and crumbs on floor! The toilets are a constant issue...and I understand people coming off the street doesn't help...but one toilet of 2 is often out of order. I suggest get the code (which ironically is still reflected on receipts?) back working and ask those who 'drop in' to kindly drop some change into the donation box or ask for a pound! Train all staff to finish artisan coffees- that is after all Costas 'speciality'...artisan coffee? I do though praise Makaila for consistent, well presented coffee and good service.

Truly awful - and no suitable toilets. The food we were served was below average, the coffees were unfortunately not good at all. The service from the woman running the cafe was disgraceful. She seemed off from the outset, and was downright rude in the end after one of our group was reduced to tears by her behaviour. Most importantly the toilet was not suitable for visitors to use, you have to squeeze through the kitchen which is open to the seating area to get to the toilet, which is extremely close to where food is being prepared and completely inaccessible for anyone with mobility issues. The toilet door did not shut, so the woman who runs the cafe had to slam shut another door in order for there to be any privacy (and any level of hygiene), which then resulted in one of our party being trapped inside the toilet unable to get out. When another member of our party was eventually able to force the door open from the outside and the person who was trapped was understandably shaken at the experience, the women running the cafe had the nerve to tell her to calm down, and then denied having said anything at all. All in all it was a horrendous experience, no redeeming features - this unfortunate situation could have been helped with a kind manner but instead was made much worse. Avoid. We will be making a formal complaint to the food standards agency. A bizarre and upsetting experience!

We stopped by on a cycle for breakfast. Had two amazing breakfast baps and coffees. Vegetarian and vegan options are great. Would recommend!

I used to be a regular here, but wow they have dropped the ball, the whole place needs some serious injection of cash as parts of it seem to be falling apart, Toilets horrid and in need of repair. seems all new staff here, including the management, the one now seems to roll eyes at the staff they have and whilst sat eating heard her talking down to staff members when the kitchen doors opened. seriously doubt will go back here again... would of liked to of not even registered a vote, as think terrible is way above the level they are. the prices of food is high and some of it you can tell the quality is not as good as it used to be.

Very impressed with the food. It's better than in Turkey. My partner's family recommended. The place is very clean and organised. Good value, will order again.

I used to drive past this restaurant for many years with a promise to pay it a visit, which I didn’t (my loss). This year we tried a take away as a mini date night, we was pleasantly surprised, WHY HAVE WE NOT DONE THIS EARLIER? We have now had a few take away’s and decided to give it a go as a restaurant. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. The meal was really enjoyable at a reasonable price. The place is very clean and tastefully decorated. We have been a few times now and this is now becoming our reliable location. I am extremely surprised this place is not over booked, maybe people are doing what we did - just drive past. Please stop and give it ago, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Esta es por mucho la mejor pizza en Totton Hampshire Inglaterra, nunca he tenido una pizza mala o experiencia de mal servicio y he estado viniendo aquí por más de 20 años, olvidar cualquier otra marca de pizza / cadena o lo que sea, dar una oportunidad a este lugar y siempre volverá, mi sobrino se ha mudado a escondite y una vez al mes viaja para obtener una petrony.

This is the worst hotel, it false advertisement of what it looks like. There was blood on the walls, shower/bath has so much lime scale and mould. You have to go into a pub with loads of locals swearing to book in. The hotel reception has a sign on the window saying call this number to get in. No one answers the phone. When was just given our key and not told anything else, this was in the pub. Not like breakfast is there between whatever time. Pillows were rank, flat as a pancake, Avoid at all costs.

Ordered online a takeout delivered to the house, arrived on time, hot, good quantity and quality. All what you you would expect, nothing more or less. Would I use them again? yes.

Owner is rude and split personality, disrespectful and dishonest to paying customers. She’s definitely got the wrong attitude to be working with the puppy. She also doesn’t pay staff on time. And she very jealous of people who know more than her.

Can get a little busy on main shopping days and is on occasion, difficult to get a seat. That said, the coffee and atmosphere are great and the location is just about perfect.
