New Friend in Horsham

We enjoyed a very good takeaway - phoned our order in and ready to pick up 20 minutes later. Everything freshly cooked, hot and fresh. Expecially enjoyed the Beef with Ginger and Duck with pineapple. Good sized portions and enjoyed the complimentary prawn crackers.

The salt n chilli ribs were just bone no meat at all Chicken chop suey was bland no sauce or gravy Even the prawn crackers were soft and stale ! To be fair prawn ginger n spring onion was ok and sweet n sour chicken Cantonese style

This takeaway is absolutely fantastic! The food is amazing at Amazing prices . The staff are so helpful and friendly. Definitely order from this place you won’t be disappointed!!

Brought a chicken chow mein, chicken satay sticks an veg spring rolls everything dripping in grease was absolutely disgusting ended up in the bin the whole lot. Don’t waste your money here as can’t even give 1 star go else where to get a decent meal. The only thing half decent was the prawn crackers but they were dry an stale think they came out of a crisp packet as well!!! Stay well away it was only a Monday night so no excuse to even being busy

This takeaway is top class. No home delivery but worth the drive to go and collect and excellent value for money. It is absolutely delicious, the best takeaway we have been to. The Chicken Satay starter has lots of delicious peanut sauce and the crispy beef is light and crispy. We would highly recommend.

This Chinese take away is now my local and is pretty good too. None of the usual luke warm green / grey offerings here. It's all crisp and fresh with a huge choice, thank goodness.

We ordered here for the first time and the result was good. Friendly service, efficient turnaround and the food was tasty. They do accept card payments over £10 too.

Really tasty Chinese takeaway that only excepts CASH but their is a cash machine in Budgens would of given excellent but they forgot 2 sauces well worth a try

Been going here for years. Even though I’ve moved around Horsham a few times I always come back here for my Chinese. The food is tasty and always made quickly. They have a good range of food and are cheerful and helpful. Definitely recommended!

The staff are friendly and the food is great. Portions are generous and the cost is reasonable. Try the Salt and Pepper chips a wonderful addition to a meal.

Lived nearby for 5 years and over that period of time have had a variety of takeaways from New friend. I have to say this is one of the best by far. 5 star hygiene, Its all cooked fresh , the staff are always polite and efficient. Parking is easy. The house specials are excellent, seriously the best, i cant praise them enough.

Our go to chinese, staff all very kind and chatty. The food is good and reasonably priced, and serve is always quick.

Been here a few times in the last 6 months and always excellent in a small parade of shops that has a general store with post office inside also a cash machine which helps — If you like Chinese food then this is a must in our view

Only moved to Horsham four weeks ago,but have been to New Friend twice !once for lunch to say thanks for everyone that helped us move, And then had a takeaway for dinner after the first time being so good!! The chilli garlic prawns so good and I'm hoping I'm going to have this for new year 🙏👅🤞

Not been to this takeaway before but we had a takeaway for 6 and we all thought it was good on the outskirts of Horsham in s little parade of shops with plenty of parking- they don’t deliver worth a visit though

Had a takeaway for 15 people from here. The food was quick, tasty and very reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

Nunca sé si es un cambio en la titularidad, pero lo que no tienen problemas con la comida de nuevo amigo por un tiempo hasta que lo probamos nuevamente el año pasado. La comida era muy sabrosa y ha sido desde entonces. No es cata grasienta y está lleno de sabor. Tenía una comida para llevar en otro lugar en un pueblo cercano y la comida era tan soso comparado. Son gente agradable! :)

This used to be a great takeaway with friendly staff and very good food, but the food ordered yesterday was greasy and tasteless - very disappointed and won't be returning.

Sábado por la noche, me dijeron por teléfono será de 20 minutos, en realidad más de una hora antes de que nos dieron. Entonces descubrí una vez que llegamos a casa era corto emitido artículo, esto ha sucedido aquí antes, les llamé y les pedí que lleve el artículo que falta para que nosotros, se negaron, dijeron que no, que vuelva aquí y conseguirlo. No vamos a hacer, no hay servicio al cliente, tomó mucho atrás y afirmaba el reembolso completo.

The spare-ribs, lemon chicken, chicken and cashew nuts and anything with their black bean sauce is great. Off-menu, their pork dumplings are delicious so just ask!

Gave us food that was completely different to what we ordered and it wasn't good food at all, don't waste your money. Barely warm as well

Es una pena que no entrega. Todo lo demás es de primera clase! Usamos éste en una base regular. Yo os recomiendo las gambas dulce y agria, estilo cantonés.

I was not happy to find chicken in with my rice.My family had beef curry, and as a vegetarian I just had rice.

Have been using the same Chinese takeaway in Horsham in the town for the past year. A family member tried New Friend and has been raving about them. We tried them tonight. People queuing and orders over the phone all the time, didn't have to wait long to give our order, not long before it arrived. When we got the food home it was piping hot and just the best we have tasted. Really worth trying for yourselves.

Lovely little horsham takeaway and the food is great- I've been coming here for years. the staff are very friendly too, the salt and pepper chips are out of this world.

This is only a take away restaurant, but the meal is very tasty and reasonably priced, ideal for a Friday treat. The chilli beef is great, they will adapt the order incase you have an allergy.

Having tried quite a few Chinese takeaways in the Horsham area I have no hesitation is saying this is the best I have found.Friendly helpful staff, food always fresh and tasty.

Have used this takeaway since it opened years ago. In the last 18 months or so the quality & taste have deteriorated. Although still owned by the same people, it appears to be run day to day by someone else. Shame, it used to be the best in town
