Costa Coffee in Epsom and Ewell

Came here with a friend for a coffee and a wrap we were paying separately but was together, a man serving said next customer so I walked over as my friend was paying he said no your with her I said we are paying separate so I was next he rolled his eyes and said ok then, another server took my wrap so ours could be cooked together, the man serving me then said “so you are together then” I said yes but paying seperate I looked at my friend and he turned around and when “what?” It was a rude experience that could of been avoided.

Last week,sign on one of toilet doors said toilet broken and an engineer was on his way. This week,the same sign is now on the other door and if engineer was on the way,the sign wouldn't stay there for days The reality is that only 1 out of 2 toilets is ever available and even then, it's necessary to ask staff to unlock the toilet door....a ridiculous system,so I shall stop using this Costa.

This is a pleasant Costa beside Epsom station,but with one large problem - Only one out of 2 toilets is available - The disabled toilet is always locked and not available, resulting in a queue for the only toilet. This is a poor service.

Good standard of coffee, inline with other Costa coffee shops. Nice and relaxed and always clean. The young staff could be a bit more professional but this doesn’t detract from the overall experience .

Pleasant interior and good staff. However Costa have yet again put up prices but not bothered to repair hand dryer in toilet which has not worked for weeks. Shame on a company who charge alot but are happy for germs to spread in their toilet

coffee is always good here, it’s what you expect from every costa! the service is a bit slow at times but then it is very busy most of the time as it is in the shopping centre! the only thing we’d say is the girl behind the counter made us feel a little uneasy as she kept coughing into her hand or blowing her nose without washing her hands.. made us feel a little uneasy is all as then she heated & prepared our food. is a very busy costa so i recommend trying the one by the station or in odeon if you want a quieter place to have coffee or something to eat. always go for a mocha or latte and it’s always lovey. the pesto panini is again, lovely but a bit pricey. but it matches the prices of every other coffee place in epsom so it’s fair..!

A bit like being in a sixth form college except …. They probably realise they are customer facing so to hear the ‘barrista’ describe something as ‘bull sh@@’ is not what you would hope from this brand.

Fantastic from the moment you enter the door, you are greeted with a ‘hello’ and a smile…Excellent customer service from the two young female staff, worked quickly and neatly and both were polite, professional and friendly… this is what customer care should look like everywhere but sadly is not the case in many places anymore… Well done to you both… made an average visit to a coffee shop, a great visit… Thank you

Lovely staff. Great coffee. Calm atmosphere. One thing I would ask for is more attentive cleaning under the tables or on the chairs.

Much quieter and relaxing than the other shops in Epsom (there are three Costa's in Epsom here plus the other bigger chains. Its not plush or anything, just no hassle to have a coffee. The best Costa in the are by far is Costa Ewell village about 1.5 miles away.

Much quieterCosta than in town centre mall also cosy corners wi fi. Toilets (very clean) usual selection of food .

Title says it all really. Went to the branch at Epsom station, while waiting for a train. The girl who served me was fine but a older barista was a grumpy cow, who tried to ignore me when a mentioned the toilet was locked. Eventually, rolling her eyes and with a face like thunder, she opened the door. The toilet was filthy, with water all over the floor, soggy paper everywhere & it smelt of pee. The coffee itself (regular latte) was a bit weak, & overpriced (you can get a better coffee almost anywhere else in Epsom, apart from Wetherspoons, but theirs is half the price!). All in all a crap experience. Even the music was bad! No wonder it was virtually empty.

Visited with family we just had drinks. Drinks were hot and tasty, hot chocolate could have chocolate or cinnamon on top. There was plenty of choice of w had wanted to eat. We choose a table at the back, chairs were comfortable. On the way out we noticed there were papers available to read.

An ideal place to meet up with people getting off a train. A relaxing place to wait. Lovely staff & the usual Costa eats & drinks.

Lovely creamy hot chocolate. Could really taste the chocolate. I had takeaway but could have stayed plenty of seating still available even though children had finished school. Will be returning.

It is one of the most flavourless hot chocolates I have ever drunk - do NOT waste your money on it. Cafe Nero do a far superior version. Sort it out Costa.

'Does what it says on the tin'......................great coffee; excellent service; always friendly atmosphere..........nothing more to say - excellent value for money and ideally located.

Really friendly staff, very tidy, and generally a lot quieter. A lot better than the Costa in the Ashley centre.

Prefer this one as quiet, clean & fresher looking can always get seated whereas arcade place always noisy/busy. Staff excellent & always cheerful/polite

The staff at this branch are usually helpful & polite. It is much quieter. Always very clean & not busy (unlike the 1 in arcade which is too busy/noisy). Nice decor

This coffee house has the perfect location for all the commuters, it's not to big not to small, always happy to see us the girls that work there especially Samantha Wow what a stunner the coffee always tastes better when she does it x

So many types of coffees - cappuccinos, flats, express lattes , skimmed milk, whole or soya. One shot of coffe or 2. Pastries, gateaux, biscuits sandwiches , pain is etc etc Super tasty and rewards points too!

Very good quick service, & the coffee was lovely & hot and the pecan tart was very tasty. Plenty of choice of snacks & sandwiches, plus the usual flapjack slices, muffins, etc. Nice atmosphere, plus all those lovely coffee-making sounds!

Unwinding and enjoying flat white coffee amongst many varying types of people but thoroughly enjoying the freedom of reading the daily newspapers and submerged in the days events of the hi-lights in the news....

Typical Costa coffee place, coffee is ok, surroundings are ok and staff and service was good, tables could do with a better clean but overall it is ok

Que deseen pasar algún tiempo visité Costa Coffee en Epsom. Me sirvió un atento caballero, que para un cambio no nos obligan a cambiar el tamaño de nuestras bebidas. El café con leche y chocolate caliente que tuvimos fue agradable. El entorno es agradable, con una selección de duras y sillas para elegir. Mientras que en allí podrá disfrutar de acceso gratuito a Internet Wi-Fi, que nos ayudó a encontrar nuestro próximo destino. Sin duda nos alojaríamos allí de nuevo, aunque es un poco más caro que nuestro habitual coffee shop.

Got coffee here on way to station and found staff friendly and coffee the usual high standard from Costa .Look forward to my next visit !

The Costa Coffee by the train station in Epsom offers wonderful service. The Coffee itself is good, just like in any other Costa chain but the customer service is first class. The team who work early on in the morning and really friendly, positive and are a credit to the company. great service.

Always cheerful when I need a coffee first thing, this Costa is well staffed and stocked. Always up to standard and service with a smile.

Excellent location between the Travelodge and Epsom Station entrance. Visited on a weekday at 0730am and there was a queue of 6 people and only 2 guys serving - but they worked SO efficiently together that I had my coffee and croissant (to eat in) before my laptop had warmed up! Those regulars getting take-away coffees KNEW they wouldn't be delayed for their trains and so there was a constant stream of customers in the half hour I was there and they too were served efficiently. Very comfortable and clean cafe and ideal for meeting anyone passing through on the train. Perfect coffee too!Tip: If you need to buy a rail ticket do that first next door and then you can relax over a coffee and cake, or grab your take-away. If you want a croissant get there before 0730 as I had the last one!
