Woodz Pizza in Aylesbury Vale

We don't eat out much anymore but collected three pizza's tonight from Woodz pizza and they were amazing as ever. Great service and food quality, will definitely come back again soon

Stopped here randomly and unexpectedly the other night. The pizza was huge. Even for a medium. They had all sort of toppings. This was the BBQ chicken and bacon one. One of the best takeaway pizzas I’ve had. Staff were super friendly and accomdating.

Absolutely delicious traditional pizza I ever had in UK. Is very hard to find this traditional tasty pizza, most place use electric oven or gas oven, but this place use woods 🪵 fire and stone oven, ummmm 😋 that smoky smell and taste are absolutely incredible, Highly recommend to give it try. This place are booming busy on the weekend, I’m not surprise the customer service get overwhelmed and delivery are running late. I always put in my order in advance and specifically requesting a delivery or pick up time just to avoiding disappointment.

A woodz pizza is my bi monthly treat to myself. As a pizza and burger snob, I have eaten pizzas all over the world from NYC to Naples, Woodz certainly comes in the top 3. It’s an authentic taste and you can tell that it’s made with passion. Sometimes the service can be hit & miss unless it’s the chap with the pony tail who always goes way and beyond and is just a throughly nice guy and always does everything with a smile. Some of the younger peeps are quite frankly devoid of common sense, but there are some that are incredible at their job.

Was having a lazy Sunday afternoon, watching the football. Decided to have a pizza, so ordered online. Not the easiest to order online, but we got there. No tracking information, but a standard 60mins delivery window was given. I ordered the chicken and bacon BBQ pizza. The listing mentioned that there would be olives; none were present on the pizza. That said, there were generous toppings on the pizza and the bacon with BBQ sauce really did hit the spot. It’s a shame that there was no tracking or accurate updates on the delivery of the pizza. I was, however, pleasantly surprised when the pizza arrived after only 30mins and still hot!

I look at these negative comments, and I'm like no one asked for your opinion. Woods pizza is by far the best pizza I have ever tasted, I can tell my digestive system loves digesting the delicious foods which are part of this wonderful restaurant.

An absolute stupendous delight.The food was immaculate and tasted heavenly, the way the soft dough combined with the juicy tomato sauce and pepperoni melted in my mouth was absolutely mouth watering. The crunch was phenomenal and the pizza was a top tier munch. I reccomend Woodz Pizza to all the folks at home due to its fast response and low queue times and it’s glorious taste WOODZ FOR LIFE!!!

Appalling service. Ordered two pizzas. One delivered was wrong. Had meat on it for non meat eater so they couldn’t have it. Called the restaurant and they said it would take a very long time to replace as they were busy. They wouldn’t prioritise it even though they made the mistake. Two hours later and it’s still not here. Also one of the pizzas delivered, the whole crust was burned black and covered in ash, pic attached. Apparently that’s acceptable to send out. Have used many times before but this will be the last after the awful customer service. Clearly don’t care.

absolutly awful. i ate a chocolate icecream. turns out it was the cooks poo frozen in a pot. i cant believe that this has happened and i will make sure no one goes there again.

Usually soooooo good and on point but a picture speaks a thousand words…. This is somewhere between a soup and a pizza, soaked in oil. Note the egg shell. I’m not one to turn my nose up and waste food but this is sub par.

My pizza was ready in less than 10 mins and the dough was freshly opened so 👍👍 Unfortunately it had way too much rocket leaves on it and I couldn’t taste much else. Also I’d suggest to get rid off the Hawaiian pizza from the menu, it’s an offence to pizza and a sign pizza won’t be good. I’ll try it again soon as it seemed quite promising.

I can’t fault the pizzas. They are as good as anything I’ve had in Italy. It just took too long to get them. While I understand you can be busy, don’t lie to me about how much longer I’m going to wait…

We found this place quite by chance after a walk on the nearby Ivinghoe Beacon. Such a great find! The pizzas are AMAZING, some of the best I have ever eaten - so tasty, piping hot and exceptional value for money. There are lots of different toppings to choose from but we opted for the Carbonara. The Portuguese style custard tarts are also delicious. The staff are very welcoming and friendly too. There are also some benches outside if you want to eat on site. Would highly recommend if you're in the area....they also offer a delivery service.

Rubbish - ordered at 6.45. Started cooking my own dinner ar 8.45. Had to keep trying for 30mins from 8.00 onwards just to get them to pick up the phone. Finally picked up the phone at 8.30. Didn’t apologise and couldn’t give an eta. Rubbish service - should say at time of order that minimum wait was 2-3 hours.

We have ordered pizza several times now over the last few months. On each occasion we have had great service and have been able to collect our pizzas within 10-15 minutes of ordering them. The pizzas are really delicious - highly recommended 😋

Amazing taste and fresh, not oily. It is so authentic, just like I had pizza in Italy. The price is reasonable for this quality. They have an outside eating area, was a sunny day to enjoy freshly cooked pizza. Will come to order again when visiting wonderful Pitstone.

The pizzas were delicious, really tasty. They were also delivered exactly on time and were lovely and hot. The person who took our phone order was very helpful and it was good to have an option of a gluten free pizza. I would highly recommend them.

All 3 pizzas were the best we've ever tasted and the order, requested for 7pm, arrived at exactly 7pm. . The menu suggests home delivery may only be during Covid, but they are delivering now (22nd June).

Lived in neighbouring village for two years and finally ordered from Woodz. The pizzas were great, delivered in good time and still good temperature. No complaints whatsoever and will certainly order from them again.

Tested this place out last week Friday 17 Jan 2020, after the gym for a quick dinner, it was awesome to hear that these guys did a Vegan pizza with Vegan cheese, made a nice custom pizza that filled the spot. Great work guys

Yet again they have got the order wrong, wasted more time. Had to go out defeating the whole point. Won't use again.

Ordered our Pizzas online, and given a time to collect. Arrived at collection time, gave my details and told they were "just out the oven". Great...!45 minutes later, still sat waiting. I raised this with one of the lads who said "You should have told me!" I mean, do they think I was sitting there for a laugh!? Turns out they hadn't even prepared them,let alone cook them. Bunch of liers. No customer facing skills, and after all that the pizza was burnt anyway, threw most of it away. Would highly avoid. Massively overpriced, terrible staff and no chance of decent food, especially Fridays and Saturdays when they clearly can't handle any more than a few customers ...!

1 hours 55 minutes and still waiting, offered me £2 off as a sorry after having to call them 4 times. This pizza is still not here.........

We dropped in by chance almost and enjoyed a couple of really great pizzas, my friend particularly liked the salmon one and I enjoyed the Calabrese.

I really enjoyed the authenticity of the pizza which had a thin crust just as i like them. Really nice fresh toppings and what tasted like home made pesto. The Portuguese custard tart was exceptional

This place is a little gem! They make tasty authentic pizza for a reasonable price. I can also recommend the Portuguese custard tarts - yummy! Great service, the guys are always friendly at Woodz.

We had a party last night and Woodz delivered 20 absolutely delicious pizzas, spot on time. Everybody loved them. Brilliant food and exceptional service. Thank you.

Where do I start? first visited this place not long after it opened in August 2017. Since then, I've been making the 20 mile round trip there every week to get food. The pizza reminds me of authentic Italian pizza, from my last trip to Rome. The guys in here are always very friendly and more than happy to help out with any requests. Thank you for being my regular provider of food!

I am SOOO happy I discovered Woodz! I am American and pizza is our national diet, so I am picky about my pies, but Woodz is amazing! I order mine with extra sauce and it is absolutely delicious! The customer service is outstanding. Steve bends over backwards to make sure everything is perfect! I can't recommend highly enough! :-)

Best pizza’s ever!! Living in Pitstone we are very lucky to have one of the best pizzeria’s I have ever had.

We aren't pizza fans to be honest but we thought we'd try this relatively new place in our village. Our friends had tried it and gave a glowing report so we thought why not give it a go. The food was nice enough but not as tasty as we'd like. Perhaps we didn't go spicy enough but the pizza was a little bland for my liking. It was cooked well enough and the ingredients seemed fresh though.

What a great find. Just drove past on way back home and noticed the traditional wood fired oven. Friendly staff. Fast service. Even got a Burr’s Moretti while waiting. Great tasting traditional pepperoni for £12.50 and £3.50 for the beer. There’s seats to sit in. If you want a traditional quality wood fired pizza this is worth a visit.
