We popped in as it seemed quiet and we hadn’t been in before. Had a sausage bap, couple of pastries and 2 gingerbread lattes. The sausages were cold and they did the cardinal sin of not putting any whipped cream in the coffee as advertised! Furious!

Service slow and concerns about hygiene. One person serving to start, the food a drink took some time even though they were not busy. The food was not heated properly bacon cold. I am not sure the staff have had any food handling traing. When people asked for cutlery they passed it by holding the eating end would suggest holding in napkin. The cake display had smears all over it and the cakes looked stale.

The food was very tasty and the tea and coffee were perfect! I went with my child and partner who said that the toasties went down well and were very filling. As someone who cannot eat gluten I was unable to eat lunch so that is why I deducted a star. Would recommend for others though

Amazing food and drinks, lovely service from Ellie, the most kind and caring person who manned the cafe by herself when it was busy. Lovely place for coffee and cake!

We could see that the tables, floor and overall crockery was dirty/ greasy. Staff was not as friendly as they used to be and we were told that there was not a choice of eggs for the English breakfast (only scrambled). Unfortunately I will not come back for brunch.

I was keen to support what appeared to be a local, independent coffee shop. I wish I hadn't. The coffee was too hot, bitter and took 30 minutes to arrive (yes, really). The food quality was poor and took an equally long time to arrive. The shop wasn't even busy so goodness knows what it is like when it is fully occupied. Poor quality, slow product (food & drink) - I guess the only bonus was that there were seats available......perhaps that is because no-one wants to go here a second time!

We popped in to avoid the rain and was met with such friendly and helpful staff. Everywhere was very clean and tidy and we felt comfortable eating in. They had a wide selection of milk alternatives which is great and lovely food. Definitely worth a visit!

My favourite place to grab a Mocca and some fresh pastries in the morning. It has a friendly atmosphere and dedicated staff. The perfect place to pop in to have a break.

Like other small coffee shops, I suspect this one caters for customers who purchase coffee and milk combinations, which would dilute the acidity and unpleasant taste of the bean when used to make espresso coffee. This is where the large chains score as the bean they use can stretch to cover most of the coffee choices on offer. Much as though I prefer the smaller cafes, this one is a disappointment with regard to espresso.

I like to support small business rather than big chains. Their flatwhite is one of the best I’ve ever had. The croissant was a bit dry, but I will give them 5 stars because of their customer service. I went there for the first time on a busy Saturday with my girlfriend. Although they were very busy, we were welcomed by four young ladies with wide smiles and they were up for some chat with us, all very nice and polite. Coffees came to our table very quickly and we saw how nicely they treated everyone else around us. Such friendly environment made us come lots of time for a coffee a nice chat!

Delicious lunch for three adults and a child. Best meal out for ages! Benedictine’s breakfast came with perfect poached eggs and crispy bacon and the macaroni cheese was simple, plain and yummy - my four year old and grandma shared and polished it off! Staff very polite and helpful. Suggested having a kids menu which they said they’d consider. Lovely cappuccino and fantastic (huge!) pot of tea. A prefect break from shopping - thank you!! Great to support an small independent cafe group too. Only negatives - currently no children’s menu and please stop offering plastic straws, so bad for the planet!!

I’m surprised by the few, negative reviews that have been posted. It is a bit pricey but the food and drink was good; the portion size was large (Full English); and we received pleasant and timely service.

Typical tea cake, nice blackcurrant and sloe gin jam, typical capuccino, great service, overpriced coffee at £2.85 when typical Horsham price range is £2.30-2.60. A bit hyped up a place, trend follower, really to give a 4 star so hence 3 star. I would not...

Service very good. Food so so. I had full English with poached eggs. Hash Brown's very good. Eggs cold. Bacon hard. Tea bag left in the tea cup - which was OK- but nowhere to put it. Pancakes - 3 - came with 3 fried eggs which was a surprise.
