Works christmas party .
Absolutely the worst meal we have ever had .
Starter uncooked beetroot like a crisp with no flavour not able to cut .
Main course roast beef
Roast potatoes unable to even bite so hard,Yorkshire pudding just about possible to crack with my hands .
Vegetables like mash and gravy like water . Many complains made . People sending food back .
Excellent service, quality products. While visiting family and staying in a nearby hotel, this place was our morning breakfast and coffee. The friendly staff worked quickly to keep lines to a minimum, as many locals dropped in for a coffee to go. There is comfortable seating inside and outside, and the staff didn’t rush anyone away. I was there many times in a few days.
Order via uber had a superb liver and bacon so we were looking forward to our order. Made order over £75 but ok we wanted it. Currently not available. Glad you can afford a loss of a £75 order. NEVER AGAIN!!!
Sunday roast was delicious, crispy roast potatoes, huge Yorkshire pudding, vegetables were still slightly crunchy with a side portion of cauliflower cheese( extra cheesy) Plenty of gravy. Highly recommend
I visited here for lunch one Saturday. The food was excellent. Whoever is in charge of the kitchen enjoys cooking. The staff were spontaneously respectful, helpful and supportive to my companion who has mobility problems. The speed of service could be improved. I would definitely eat here again.
They stuff is the most rude peoples I ever knew, they take ages to delivery the food at the table. And if you ask then about the food they will be rude as Highest standard. I dont recomend and I never will went there again
Excellent variety of breakfast again my boys loved helping theirselves to what they wanted for breakfast, fried bread was awesome, the only thing that was bad was the coffee it was so bitter.
Wanting a quick bite while in Eastbourne (and slightly disappointed that Birdhaus appears to be closed), we thought we'd give Wimpy a go, for old time's sake and to see if anything had changed in the decades since I last set foot in one.
The venue has less seating than the neighbouring golden arches so we had to wait 5 mins to get a table but we weren't in a hurry. The place is clean and the service was good. The decor feels modern but the menu still has a range of classic options, such as the Bendy (hot dog in a round bun) and the Wimpy burger.
I opted for the Southern Fried Quorn burger with vegan mayo, which as a meal comes with a drink (Pepsi Max for me!) and chips. We also tried the onion rings and it was all quite tasty. On Wednesdays you can get a small selection of meals for £8.50 but the vegan choice there is the bean burger and having spent too many years with just that as an option, I was happy to pay a few pounds more to try something else. Besides, a little over £10 for a meal isn't too bad nowadays and it was served quickly too.
In all, not a bad experience and I would certainly be tempted to come back.
Ate in the restaurant on one of the hottest nights of the year.
Air conditioning not turned on and just 2 small fans in use....one of which was for the staff by the till area !!
Food was ok ( no more) but the whole experience was so uncomfortable we ate up and left in 45 minutes.
No surprise that there was only one other table occupied !!
What a great pub! The food is wonderful... especially the pizza and crumble! Also, bartender Millie pours one of the most delicious Guiness pints in the county! After the visit I've had, I'll be here every weekend
£4.50 for microwaved bacon in a stick and £3 for tea (that you pretty much make yourself) in a paper cup. Ridiculous is an understatement. This is the kind of place rich people with no common sense go.
Such a great park! The caravans are absolutely beautiful along with the gorgeous facilities. If you love nature then you’ll love this park too with its stunning site. A big shoutout to Dan (the general manager of the park) he was so helpful, welcoming and friendly. Thank you so much for everything Dan and the rest of the staff here. We will definitely be back!
With so many chains in the high street in Windsor, it's hard to find an independent bakery/coffee shop, so Rex is an excellent find. The sourdough breads are great for taking away and toasting. Pastries fresh and delicious. But what made it stand out was the service from Meral, the manager. She knows how to welcome people, prepare an excellent eating experience , providing us with all the sit down service. We didn't need to ask keep asking for anything. She was instinctive and knew what we wanted. She is an asset. Thank you Meral!!
