Great service from the waiter and worth the money. The waiter explained clearly which dishes I cannot have and what can be adjusted to suit my allergy.

Very succulent, tasty food, hot and reasonably priced, cooked to order and collected. Chicken pathia and chicken Razalla lovely.

Food portions are small but count that as a blessing as the quality is awful. Cheap products reheated and extremely greasy. The service and customer satisfaction, well there just isn’t any. They really don’t care for customer satisfaction or keeping customers and they are extremely rude. Don’t waste your money or time with this company. Try the downsman or Mazza anywhere but here. I was once a loyal customer but no longer since it has been taken over.

This is one of the best takeaway currys I've ever had. I was checking hygiene ratings online and saw that my local takeaway, which I hadn't used, was a 5. Spent £50.00 on an absolute feast. Couldn't believe the lack of oil, fantastic!! Poppadoms - Fresh and crisp Onion bhaji's - really crunchy on the outside yet soft on the inside. Vegetable samosas - crisp and nicely spiced. Chick Jalfrezi - Great big chunks of chicken with lots of fresh chilli's. Veg Dhansak - Thick sauce with a good kick of spice and large bits of cauliflower and broccoli amongst the usual veg. Chick Chilli Mosalla - Good level of heat, with amazing flavour. Sag Paneer - Very creamy, with a decent amount of paneer cubes. Chutney Table - As you'd expect. Loved the mango and lime. Mushroom Rice - Lots of mushrooms Stuffed Naan - Averege

I called in for Lamb Buhna Mushroom rice and sag aloo it was so tasty the rice was lovely and moist with plenty of mushrooms and the Buhna had tender pieces of Lamb I will definitely be going back

Awful, charged for a special and sent a Korma one staff member said it was a larger portion, the Manager said it was a special . Conflicting excuses. Their web site prices are all incorrect the Manager blamed the company that produce their web site, he even said we were on the wrong web site ( we have screen shot to prove we were on the Broadfield shop website. No apology, awful food and very rude and defensive staff member. We have ordered from here lots but won’t be ordering again due to the rudeness of the staff member!

Ordered food here on a semi regular basis for past two years. Tonight prices were considerably more expensive than on website (manager Ali’s view was they are not responsible for the website even though it is their business) and tried to tell me that a ‘special’ butter chicken charged for was not a korma, which Is what was delivered. Things go wrong, we know this, but to be met by a totally don’t care attitude and madam you are mistaken attitude is arrogant and totally dismissive of their customers. We will not be patronising them again.

Absolutely loved it, was generous portions. 100% worth the money, staff a friendly and helpful, wasn't sure what I wanted but they asked a series of questions and recommended the patia, absolutely loved it

We've been going to the Raj since I was a young child (now late 30s) and it's always delicious food. The chicken tikka delight is my favourite dish - it's like a korma but with more flavour because of the tikka chicken, and with lots and lots of coconut...it really is delightful. My late grandma, who was anglo Indian, loved coming round and getting a takeaway from there for special occasions as it is so tasty.

Was cold when arrived and all food was tasteless no Flavour at all no spice in any of the food we ordered and we ordered spicy dishes

Always order a curry from here and when I do it’s always on time, always hot and always authentic. I honestly can’t eat curry’s on any other level now as I find it hard to compare to theirs. I’d also highly recommend the meal deals as you get so much food for the price. Always friendly to deal with over the phone and if something is wrong they are always happy to help.

I rang the take away & they said it would be here in 20mins max 30mins Its only 1/2mile from where I live After 40mins I rang the take away many times to see where my delivery was ( they hadnt rung to say why there was a delay)!There was no reply ive since found out they had already closed. Whilst I was trying to call I got a missed call so I rang the no.immediately It was the guy that took my order. He said the driver could not find me even though id had a delivery from them the week before! He was speaking to the driver telling him the directions via me this was now 50mins later I said I was not happy as now v.late & I hope after such a long wait it would not be cold. When he eventually arrived IT WAS COLD & HE DIDNT BRING A RECEIPT AS REQUESTED! When I unpacked the takeaway I rang the same guy & told him it was v.late & more important it was COLD so I didnt have anything to eat.HE said take away closed now. I rang the takeaway the next evening to complain & spoke 2 two people incl. the chief who was v.rude no appology from anybody! The chief said he would get the manager to call me, I tried ringing several times but couldnt get through until tonight when I got the manager over 1 week later! Still no appology! He looked my details up on pc & they lied about the times, I asked for & refund & all he would offer me was a discounted meal. I told him I would NEVER USE the take away again so discount no good to me. AVOID THIS TAKE AWAY! If I wanted a cold meal I could have made one at home & not have to wait. THEY ARE ALSO VERY RUDE AND DONT EVEN APPOLOGISE FOR THEIR MISTAKE!

Ordered a simple delivery (kebabs, chips and extra salad) at 6.56pm. Had to chase at 8.14pm. Then delivery arrived with no salad. Phoned to complain and were given 2 options. Wait 30 minutes for them to deliver the salad (they’re 10 minutes away) or, if we weren’t happy, they’d take the order back and give a refund as long as we hadn’t opened it. (Unfortunately our X-ray vision wasn’t working, so we had opened it otherwise we wouldn’t have known there was no salad). After discussion with manager he said they wanted the meal back anyway if we wanted a refund. We agreed! So he hung up since he had no intention of refunding anything. Appalling service and no idea how to treat customers.

This is the second time I have ordered from the Raj Tandoori and I was hoping it would be as good as the first time. To my surprise it was even better. I cannot speak highly enough of the food,value and service. Well done you are now my first choice takeaway.

Delivered on time ,piping hot, beautifully packed. Excellent flavour, nice rice,tender and juicy Chicken and Lamb. Fantastic Chapatl,Poppadum and Naan bread. Gorgeous,fresh Samosa. Ample portion and reasonably priced.

I ordered for the first time from this restaurant after being advised about the good food. We got the chicken korma with pilau rice, the chicken biryani and garlic naan bread. It was SO TASTY. Honestly, I could feel all the flavours. The portions are big as well even when ordering medium meals. It didn't took long to have it ready for collection. The staff is very friendly. Definitely a place to go back and order great food.

Just moved into Crawley, have tried 2 Indian cuisines before and was more than delighted by this one. Me and my wife were struggling to make up our mind, Omar was extremely helpful in assisting us choose appetizers, main course and side dish that were fitting to our taste requirements. Would definitely recommend to all to try out this takeaway! Especially the Chicken Shahi Naga !!!!

After trying many Indians within Crawley, I can’t emphasise how much more I was delighted with this takeaway. We ordered food for 4 people, and the curries were excellent. I ordered the food to go indoors and collect, and was given a time of 20 minutes, I arrived early and was welcomed by a team of friendly gentlemen. I received the food and had a 15 minutes drive home, on arriving home the food was still piping hot, and extremely tasty! Gotta give a bit of extra credit to the Chicken Tikka Mosalla, was unbelievable! Thank you guys, will be ordering more often!

Great place, enjoyed it so much with the family. Delicious food, hands down best in the whole of Crawley.

Went with 2 of my friends to get a curry to takeaway, lovely people welcomed us warmly. We ordered 3 Briyanis and they were excellent! The briyanis were full of flavour and definitely a bargain for the price it cost us! Would definitely recommend to others, give these guys ago!!Ps they gave us free poppadoms!!
